Upgraded Great Fox in SSBB?

Well, I was playing SSBB when I watched the "The Halberd VS The Great Fox" Scene, which is my favorite, and I noticed that the Great Fox wasn't getting it's ass whooped, the Great Fox seems to have some sort of Shield blocking the Halberd's fire. Watch this clip:

Notice in 0:03 - 0:06 you see a light green shield around the Great Fox, you may have to watch the video a couple of times to see what I'm talking about.

So anyways, I didn't notice the Great Fox having a shield in SF64....cool eh?

But it is cool seeing that shield huh? I mean god knows we could have used it on Sector Z in Star Fox 64 am I right? Or maybe the apariod invasion? :)

Well, there isn't proof of any kind of deflector shield onboard the Great Fox, otherwise, the missiles in Sector Z in SFS64 wouldn't have gotten through to the Great Fox so easily, one missile strike would simply have weakened the shields, mulitple strikes would have eventually broken through, but not one.

So it could be safe to say that the Great Fox does not have a deflector shield.

Well we could all tell that it didn't when you let the missles attack the GF, but since there were none in SF64 you can tell that there really are none, like DZ said.
