DZComposer
I added a rule to the sig policy:SIGNATURE POLICY1. Signatures must abide by the main posting rules.2. Please keep the image sizes reasonable. Any image taller than 200 pixels will be removed. If your image causes a screen at 1280x1024 to require horizontal scroll bars, it will be removed.3. Signatures have a 300 character limit (including bbcode tags) enforced by the forum software.4. You may not use any form of script in your signature, server-side or otherwise. This is for security reasons.5. You may not have more than one animated GIF in your sig, and it may not be so large as to distract people from reading posts.6. If a staff member tells you to change your signature, please do so. Refusal will result in an admin removing your signature. Please be mindful of others when putting animations in your sigs. A couple of people have had some really gnarly sigs lately, and it is just distracting and annoying. Sigs that are distracting detract from the forum experience of other users. Icy
Great new rules! I've been thinking the signatures were too distracting for quite some time.
TheRedFox8
Er... does my two little FE sprite animations violate this rule? If so, then I will be a sad fox. :(
DZComposer
Technically, yes, but I didn't even know they were two separate ones until you said so. Yours are relatively simple. I'm more concerned about the movie clips with people running around and explosions and the cartoon characters jumping around everywhere.
Ellipzocore
Good thing, you have given me a new idea to add to my own rules. I had realized that having a GIF in my avatar and my signature was too distracting. Thank you.

Four-eyed Vulpine
I was actually referring to the often-busy animated sigs I make for others.
