I have AT&T. It makes me giggle a bit when people complain about not having a signal, because I never have that problem. :) Our network never goes down, either.

Now, if we're talking about their internet service, it sucks. Suuucks.

Verizon

I've always been under their plan and don't plan on straying away from them.  Signal quality may suck, but they sure do good on their unlimited texting plan since I do text a bunch when I'm in one of my moods.

Does AT&T have unlimited texting?

T-Mobile? That's a pretty big one too. That's what I have and it's alright I guess. I've never had other so I can't say if anythings better or worse.

Shaw, I think that's what supplies my phone with telecommunicational powers, and internet, and cable.

Either for an extra $10 or $20 a month, I forget. But it's hella useful when you text a metric ton.

Lol, I've never heard of any of them.

Over here, it's Orange, o2, Virgin, 3, Vodafone or T Mobile. :P

I'll stick with Verizon on this one.  I've always had signal problems with AT&T, but almost NEVER with Verizon :D.  Of course, that's only for wireless service.

Try not to do that. AT&T is the worst ever. I would honestly rather use a payphone then use AT&T.

Right now I have a Tracfone. It's pretty reliable so far as signal quality goes. The only thing I really hate about it is how much it costs to use the internet. :/

I'm planning on switching to verizon soon though, hopefully they'll have a phone with decent internet. :P

I have AT&T... I don't have any issues with their service or coverage. I hardly have dropped calls. Only place I have issues is my basement (it's a basement though, duh.. )

The phone I have has a few issues that bug me, but they only appear after heavy usage...

You're the only one who has anything bad to say about AT&T's service. (crazyfoo was talking about their internet, which really does suck, that goes without saying)

Anything signal wise on AT&T's network is your phone. And it goes without saying that if you have a crappy phone, you get crappy signal. I have a cheap, free with 2-year contract phone, and I've only dropped a call once on it. In my friend's dorm.

But that's my opinion based on my experience. :P I wouldn't trade their phone service for the world, however... their internet service sucks. (I realized this after coming home from college, where our internet is awesome Comcast internet)

I wish Steve was here, he's fun to argue with.

Well, AT&T....let's just watch this video:

3G coverage just covers your internet and multimedia things. Has no bearing on where you'll get signal :P That's what that Verizon commercial isn't telling you.

Sorry I'm not as fun to debate with as Steve, I'll be sure to let him know. :P

I always did pretty good with a local company like Cellcom, it never has given me any problems at all. It's internet is pretty nice too, there's only been a few times when I had problems with it and their customer service is really on their toes to help you.

My sister used AT&T and got -F-Bomb-ed up the ass. That's what I pretty much think of the big cellphone companies. The local ones are pretty sweet.

  • 2 weeks later...

This is like choosing between Bowser, Andross, and Gannondorf. Pick your favorite evil. They all suck.

Shitty data transfer. Shitty phones (they aren't originally shitty, they get shitty because of all the crapware that the carriers install on them).  Shitty network coverage. Shitty network capacity (a large convention or a disaster in a city can cripple a cell network, and with all the smartphones even the data channels are getting clogged). Shitty pricing (Why the hell should a 3 meg data transfer connection of any kind cost $100/mo in 2010?). Shitty customer service.

They're all guilty of it.
