thing is, Kursed is associated with SF-Command, and many people hated that game.

We've been over this before. Krystal doesn't -have- a set personality. Even in Adventures, she showed signs of multiple personality disorder.

even so, at least the personalty's in the A games (assault and adventrues) were quite simile. we realy just didn't see enough for her in adventrues too tell. But command was way of the charts even for the previous personalities

It wasn't completely out in left-field. Her "Give me that!" statement as she took her staff back without a word of thanks in Adventures actually established a vindictive, thankless personality for her at least a little bit.

That is correct. But if you're going to excuse her actions there, then you may as well excuse the actions that led up to the Kursed ending as well. After all, everyone has their anger moments.

There's also the fact that Krystal isn't an "everybody" and for that game was basically just Furry Peach. She didn't have the CHARACTER to factor in anger realisticly, she was just being an ass.

But the Kursed ending -didn't- come out of nowhere, actually. Everything up to that point led up to it. Fox kicked her off the team, so, in an immature act of retribution she joined StarWolf. Then, when he tried to make it up to her, she showed that she was hurt so much that she was unwilling to forgive him and willing to betray him. Honestly, I think her motivations in the Kursed ending make a lot more sense than her motivations in the ending of Adventures.

I guess I'll just come right out and say it: I liked Command. I thought that it was far deeper in character development than any of the previous games had been, and the fact that the writers were willing to take such big risks with people's favorite characters really made me respect them. Sure, a lot of the endings didn't come out the way I wanted them to, and I was actually touched by a few, but that's the mark of good writing: It brought forth an emotional response in the person experiencing it.

I think the problem is that we of Western Culture -hate- anything but happy endings or anything that makes us feel uncomfortable. That's likely why so many people here hate Command: Because many of the endings were very uncomfortable and only one or two had a "guy gets girl and rides into sunset" type of ending that Westerners like so much.

So yeah. I liked the Kursed ending. It gave Krystal far more depth than we had ever seen before, and it actually gave her a place in the StarFox cast. Up until she joined StarWolf, she was just a fifth wheel, and in the Kursed ending, she was finally her own character, not dependent on any other person to define her.

Well... I hated command because of the controls... And the gameplay,was not fun at all.

And piloting alone,not having your teammates there. I mean sure they do nothing,but get their asses chased.

But it feels nice to see them fly along side you.

the fact stands tht milk way has posted befor that killing isn't pleasent. Even in video game. My father had a close freind who died in iraq about 1 year ago. but his son was a friend of mine> death even of an enemy will aways leave some one hurt.
