Samantha Weltzin
I agree with you on that. So I'll just stop this retardism, "I" Started, thinking what I posted a few posts back was funny, even thoughI didn't think Robert and Milky would get offended by it,so I'm sorry to you both. Back to the topic?Sure. Anyone want to comment on my long post? It'd be a shame for all that time to go to waste due to nitpicking a failed joke.Well, anyone besides you, who already commented on it? :P

Back to the topic?Nah, wasn't offended, just find that sort of behavior to be some of the mos annoying. Mostly because people -don't- say it with a sense of humor, and really do think they're tough guys.

Thu'um
But the Kursed ending -didn't- come out of nowhere, actually. Everything up to that point led up to it. Fox kicked her off the team, so, in an immature act of retribution she joined StarWolf. Then, when he tried to make it up to her, she showed that she was hurt so much that she was unwilling to forgive him and willing to betray him. Honestly, I think her motivations in the Kursed ending make a lot more sense than her motivations in the ending of Adventures.I guess I'll just come right out and say it: I liked Command. I thought that it was far deeper in character development than any of the previous games had been, and the fact that the writers were willing to take such big risks with people's favorite characters really made me respect them. Sure, a lot of the endings didn't come out the way I wanted them to, and I was actually touched by a few, but that's the mark of good writing: It brought forth an emotional response in the person experiencing it.I think the problem is that we of Western Culture -hate- anything but happy endings or anything that makes us feel uncomfortable. That's likely why so many people here hate Command: Because many of the endings were very uncomfortable and only one or two had a "guy gets girl and rides into sunset" type of ending that Westerners like so much.So yeah. I liked the Kursed ending. It gave Krystal far more depth than we had ever seen before, and it actually gave her a place in the StarFox cast. Up until she joined StarWolf, she was just a fifth wheel, and in the Kursed ending, she was finally her own character, not dependent on any other person to define her. shure i wily take a crack at it.why hate it...well fox and Krystal are looked up to ass heroes. now one likes to see a favorite character go down like that. as for character development....crap. In onestory wolf actually joins fox on this quest. then at least the characters in the previous games have similar personalties. And when Krystal became kursed she was no longer Krystal a character tat was highly popular. I agree with you however, that command has potentional to lead the next game but i would prefer an ending like Krystal and Lucy

I wish Wolf, would still try and be more of a rival to Fox. After Star Fox 64. Wolf has just kind of gotten soft for Fox.And No I don't mean the way some of you guys are probably thinking of... Although, ironically, you're just proving my point: Western audiences (the Americas, Europe, etc) don't like unhappy endings. I can understand why, but I also think that there is a certain dignity in an ending with a less-than-desirable outcome. It's just the other side of life, and I think it takes guts to portray such a thing.Your example of Wolf joining Fox really isn't all that out-of-character. He joins Fox in a similar situation when the Aparoids attack, even being somewhat self-sacrificing so Fox will have a chance to break through to the Aparoid Queen. It's not unheard of for the two to work together. Now, you say that Krystal isn't the same character when she becomes Kursed, but I'm not sure what you mean by that. She has the same body and same mind. The only thing different about her is that she changed her name, grew her hair out, dyed some of it, and left the Lylat System in shame. She's still Krystal, and I think in that ending she has matured and become her own person, even if it's tainted with her terrible past mistakes. Also: I actually like the Krystal and Lucy ending more than just about any of them too. However, i think it scatters character personalties even more.Krystal has a difrent mind set then kursed. kursed is an emotionaly scared person that seems to be ruthles when caring out an action. Guest l Shade l
Do you think it'd be awkard if Krystal, had a relative by the name of Kursed? I mean what would happen there? What would she name herself if she found out she had a relative by the name of Kursed? Would She steal it?
