You strongest hero Video game/ book/ Character in genral

Shikeiki Yamaxanadu or Remilia Scarlet from the Touhou series. The entire thing is littered with overpowered characters, but those two are at the top for their powers (judge of the dead and manipulation of fate, respectively)

Difficult. Samus Aran is always a choice - she constantly faces hordes of alien troops, giant dragons, disembodied brains, and even a corrupted entity resembling her and possessing powers similar to her own. Even throughout this, she remains strong and independent, and an overall admirable, if somewhat underdeveloped, character.

Possibly Fujiwara no Mokou or Kaguya Houraisan from Touhou, due to being immortal and coping with the issues it brings, as well as being generally powerful in a fight as demonstrated by the games.

Captain Falcon.

Kratos. He kills gods for no other reason than that he's cranky.

Between the four presented here, the obvious choice is Falcon, but if I were taking the question seriously, I would choose Samus. And that isn't even beginning to scratch the multitudes of games/books/shows/movies that I've played/read/watched.

Always seen the Juggernaut as portrayed as entirely unstoppable, and the kind of guy that doesn't run after someone, he just walks over, because he KNOWS he'll get you eventually. Then there's where he got hit by a train, didn't flinch, and proceeded to ring hand the train off the tracks, and keep walking.

This thread is flame bait, it's just a matter of time before a sephorph fan pops in, decares him bad arse, but goes crying when you say "You could just shoot him" or will offer loads of contrived excuses as to why you can't, as if his hair gives off some bad arse shield that stops everything except oversized swords held by idiots.

A debate I've had on various forums, Gorden Freeman tends to win these things somehow, which is odd given how he has no combat training.

For me it would have to be either Megabyte from reboot. The only villain I know who manages to kill off the hero.

Another for me would have to be not 1 guy, but rather a faction. Elites (post covinant) or Cybrans from Supreme Commander. 1v1 elites are superior to humans. Cybrans can probley think up some kind of death ray they can kill you with before dinner.

Sephiroth!!!

now that that has been covered

my REAL hero would have to be Magnus Gallant from Ogre Battle 64: person of lordy

Mainly because he starts out as a young cadet straight out of the Knight Academy...and is sent to the southern region to fight some "bandits" only to later find out they are part of a revolution. THEN after some time, he decides to join the revolution to help his kingdom become free from the rule of a neighboring kingdom. After what seems like hard battles, they have a whole new fight in front of them, the fight against the Netherworld, Where, as it turns out, his best friend is actually the future vessel for a demigoddess. Long story short....he has so much shit thrown at him, but he still finds the courage to fight for what he believes in, the future peace for his kingdom.

My favorite character is Fox McCloud, I love him (no faggotry intended here)

Another character I like is the Man in Black *points at my avatar* from LOST, anyone whose watched this show throughout its seasons knows who he is. He is bad ass. I was angry when he got killed :x

Ugh... I'm surprised anybody still remembers that.. k_e_rolleyes.gif

But like I said in the Past; If he can summon a meteor that has the possibility of Destroying an entire planet, Then yeah... he is pretty powerful..

He is not immortal though. The mere fact he was beaten puts Cloud above him, so he already loses.

True, though many people on the net Say cloud was just lucky... Show's how much Fandom of a character can intervene with with a persons conclusion on the place of the protagonist..

You -can- shoot Sephiroth if you bring Vincent to the fight  Seriously bullets don't do much in the FFverse.

Anyway I tend to favor my strongest characters by their... well, character, not their feats, but I'm too lazy to make a list so I geuss I'll come back later.

Every person I've talked to that's played EVERY FF game since they first came out agrees that Kefka > Sephiroth

The only people who think Sephiroth is the greatest FF villain are those who haven't played anything before FF7 and are mainly younger people.

Go play it right. Now.

Seriously, go do it.

And by the way, Garland > Kefka and Sephiroth. He'll knock them both down and, should he lose, it's time loop time!
