What's your personality?

First off, no. Secondly:

Childishness and maturity don't go hand in hand

I disagree. I've known people who can act childish at times but can all of a sudden be quite serious, compassionate, and MUCH more mature if the situation presents itself as such.  My former youth pastor was the "best of both worlds" in this regards.  Hence why he was such an awesome and lovable individual. :P

Another more recent example is my shipping manager at work, he can act very immature/childish and talk to us when we are supposed to be working on busy days about anything (mainly why the NY Yankees/Colorado Avalanche are so awesome or any other sports related topics) which annoys the department heads (sometimes) which can't do anything about it because he overrules them. :P  However he can easily be all business like, mature, and serious about our HP operation when the need arises.  Again, like my old youth pastor is he one of the most likable people in our entire 100 person operation.

Like the past two examples, my personality in real life can vary widely, depending on the situation.  At work, I'm mostly a social, fun-loving individual who everyone seems to like.  I can be "immature" but in a "good and fun" way at times.  I'm considered smart by my peers and I often get kudos for being myself when sometimes I don't feel that I deserve such labels heh.

I can get annoyed with people who don't see eye to eye with me on certain issues, especially if their logic makes no sense to me or isn't explained very well.  I'm quite sensitive as well as easily emotional (which girls seem to like) - which is I think one of the reasons why I strongly object to drama when it happens and try to act as a peacemaker of sorts.  I've been called a "playful tease" countless times, mainly by females who I always seem to make laugh with my witty, random, and mostly sarcastic comments about anything.  At heart though, I'm considered a nice guy by the majority of my peers.

The same personality at work translates into my social life as well.

I agree, I know people like that too.

I get easily irritated when people ask silly questions.

Exhibit A: " -bonk- ow! ohmygod that *BEEEEEEEEEEP* Baloney!" "Are you ok?" "..."

Exhibit B: "Ugh, I have to study for two tests tomorrow and I have an english paper to do, too!" "Is that a lot of work?"  :x

uhhm...i think im friendly...?

I say hi to people i walk by, i will 80% of the time say have a nice or good day to people; such as my Family, Teachers, friends etc.

I ask how my Mom's day aswell as some other people how thier days are going or went....i try not to get people angry....i can be somewhat impatient at times....

No one really hates me...i like to talk to people and they sometimes do like-wise...i really dont have much of a sense of humor; at times.

I dont know if i should say this, but i make up stories in my head, play music, and talk to mys;ef in my head, i will talk to myself aloud sometimes, laugh at things i remeber that are funny out loud...im sure there is more, but i can't really say much more right now; oh! im also sort of anti-social with people.

My personality is an odd one, at least in my opinion.

Everyone always tells me that I am kind, and caring. I am very defensive of any of my friends, regardless  of anything, and I would be willing to die to protect all of my friends. I tend to always be positive, and cheery. Mainly because of my early childhood. If you want to read why go to my journal. here http://forums.starfox-online.net/index.php?topic=8808.new#new

I never let something negative stop me from my dreams and desires. I tend to get hyper, but I am a great person to get along with. I do not turn away peoples friendships based on politics, race, gender, orientation, or anything. i am friends with a person for who they are rather what they are. I am a hard person to piss off, but if you do, watch out :D

I didn't say they couldn't coexist, just that being childish is the exact opposite of being mature. I'm well aware that someone can have the best of both worlds, as you put it - I'm the same way, to an extent.

well, i love to be friends with pretty much any body. I ussaly am postive and polite. I like to talk exspecialy to adults. they seem to like my conversations. i always look at somthing from multiple sides and i try to put my self in diffrent situations to see what i'd do. I am extrmely competitve and never give up. I try to be like Martin cause he is my hero and i see m self in him. i also (friendedly) make jokes about my friends. That me in a nut shell. But i am extremly emotional about somthings. I almost cried when rose died in the book Martin the warrior. I did cry in a few endings in command.

I prefer to let people make up their mind about me. I hate describing/talking about myself.

But I think I'm nice.

Now that's not only sweet, but really interesting too. I would never consider those options, because I have pretty low self-esteem and I hate sounding like I'm bragging. Do you know what I mean?

And thanks, emperor, I really appreciate that. :)  :friends:

Your not bragging about telling people your personality Redeemer, your only bragging about it if you insult someone elses (it's a word now) personality and then tell them yours is better.

That's a very good point actually.

In that case, I like my sense of humour. It's silly and I make loads of cheesy puns. And I know that's not everyone's cup of tea, but it entertains me. :D

I can be a pretty nice and relaxed person. Unless anybody mentions that "THING" from Batman and Robin. If you watch the Nostalgia Critic, you know know what I mean.

I really don't know how to describe myself, because, like Redeemer said, I'm afraid of sounding like bragging.

I prefer to let people make up their mind about me. I hate describing/talking about myself.

But I think I'm nice.

I take that approach too. But when I let people make their own judgments about me, they get the wrong idea, they tend to think I'm........ psychotic. I honestly think my friends think I'm crazy, in a bad way. But that's not true, I wouldn't hurt a fly. I tend to spout off quotes from TV shows, games, and YouTube videos at random, sometimes I don't even know I'm doing it, and it looks like I'm talking to myself. Strangely enough, I only do this around people I know.

When I'm around strangers, I'm shy and quiet, because......... I'm afraid of being judged thanks to what people I know think about me.

I was like that for a while to, Including the Crazy comments... Mostly because I mumble stuff under my breath a little to often, Which even me my own mother thinks is strange.

Though now i hear nothing in my School and nobody even says anything to me other then that one girl who has a possible crush or is just playing with me. (kinda glad to, All of them are Hot Heads, wannabe Gangters, and idiots...)

Everyone thought I was a terrorist in grade 6, but that's because I wore a ski mask when it snowed.
