It may have been that the original Star Fox team had encountered them and was nearly beaten. Plus, Andross's nephew was on the original Star Wolf team. I hope you know that the primary reason is Star Wolf works for Andross, and Andross, like any other power hungry fool, always pays big lumps of cash. Star Fox is loyal to Corneria. End of story.
