The Lylat Luxury Hotel: Part 5

Travis would smile, lifting a paw behind his head, scratching it. Just as he was ready to speak, the beat began to die down into a slow dance, and he noticed couples beginning to cuddle close. He would sigh and offer his paw, "Would you like to sit and rest....or" He blushed again before finishing, "Dance some more...."

Ryn chuckled, and playfully rolled her eyes. "Well, I came to dance, so..." She said with a smile, taking his hand and starting the slow dance with him.

Travis blushed and accepted her hand, "And your mate won't come to kill me...." he would say in jest, figuring that Ryn had already told her mate about him. Travis then placed a hand on her hip, gulping a bit, but this was how the dance was to be executed.

Ryn chuckled, putting her other hand on his his waist, assuming that was what she was to do as well. "Zeke? Psh. No. We are just dancing, I don't see why he would want to hurt you." She said, knowing that in reality she didn't tell Zeke, but she didn't want to make her new friend worry. "Why would you worry about him hurting you?" She asked, still following the lead for the dance.

Flux sighed as Rasper left. He was happy he was out of the room. For now, Flux didn't want to deal with anyone who had feelings for him in those ways. It made him feel uncomfortable now.

He looked to Cel. "Thanks for being here, as a friend."

Ryn chuckled, putting her other hand on his his waist, assuming that was what she was to do as well. "Zeke? Psh. No. We are just dancing, I don't see why he would want to hurt you." She said, knowing that in reality she didn't tell Zeke, but she didn't want to make her new friend worry. "Why would you worry about him hurting you?" She asked, still following the lead for the dance.

Travis would notice her place her hand on his waist, and quickly move to place hers on his shoulder, "This is where your other hand goes..." he chuckled, knowing she probably did not understand, and as he slowly took the lead, he would listen to her. "Well, I don't know your mate, I don't know if he is the jealous type or what..." he chuckled nervously.

Flux sighed as Rasper left. He was happy he was out of the room. For now, Flux didn't want to deal with anyone who had feelings for him in those ways. It made him feel uncomfortable now.

He looked to Cel. "Thanks for being here, as a friend."

At that, Cel smiled sincerely, slowly nodding his understanding.  "Thanks for letting it be this way, Flux."

Travis would notice her place her hand on his waist, and quickly move to place hers on his shoulder, "This is where your other hand goes..." he chuckled, knowing she probably did not understand, and as he slowly took the lead, he would listen to her. "Well, I don't know your mate, I don't know if he is the jealous type or what..." he chuckled nervously.

"Heh. As long as you don't act all infatuated with me, Zeke will be as nice as a teddy bear." Ryn replied happily, knowing Zeke only had issues with those who acted on their emotions to get with her. "You shouldn't have to worry about him. Don't worry. And sorry about the hand." She said with a chuckle, noticing how Travis had to move it. "So, gonna explain to me why a pretty girl as myself  is making you so red?" She said in a playfully joking tone, very curious as to why a lot of people liked to blush around her, other than a now obvious reason; But that was why she was a bit confused with this fox.

At that, Cel smiled sincerely, slowly nodding his understanding.  "Thanks for letting it be this way, Flux."

"No worries. This is a lot nicer. Heh, if we were together, we probably wouldn't be able to help each other through many situations. This turned out much better!" Flux said. He did love the things he and the tiger did, but knew he would be much happier with a friendship in the end.

Unknowings to the two, Rasper had slipped a listening device under the lip of the counter, listening in on their conversation through an ear piece that was well hidden in his ear. He is a hitman.....he had the gagits to use, and thus he did. He would already be in the gym, lifting a couple of hand dumbbells, about 25 lbs on each at the moment.

Travis sighed, "I must admit, this is the first time I have been this bold, especially since adopting Mellisa, and well, you are a girl....plus I blush at a rose bush..." he confessed, the last bit he was joking but still. When she made the remark about the hand, he shook his head, "No need to apologize, just a tip for when you and your mate dance at your wedding..." he playfully stuck his tongue out.

Ryn chuckled. "That is if I ever get his lazy ass to start helping me plan it. I have been trying to get him on it, but we keep getting side tracked somehow. And I am probably going to have to teach him how to dance too." She said with a chuckle, continuing the dance. "And who cares about what people think Be bold all the time! You will get used to it." She said with a smile; And if anyone knew Ryn, they would agree she is very bold through many and very close to all of her actions.

A few of the other couples began to clap, the ladies slapping their boyfriends for not doing the same earlier.

Ryn giggled and was happy at the performance Travis was giving, hugging him slightly when she could as to not throw off the beat. "Now, I don't think he would hurt you, but a bit jealous of you, maybe." She said with a small chuckle. "Where did you learn to dance? You are really good at it."

Used to be a life guard, but got fired for some reason. Probably didn't work enough hours." She said, giving a small and brief run down of the two. It took a moment, but one of her ears twitched, and tail flickered to the side for a brief moment, and then went back to normal.

...No, I won't do that. He has enough on his hands... She thought as they continued to dance.

I have no idea about Flux really, other than he is going through some rough patches. I tried helping him out last time, and not sure it worked out to well for him." She said, her ears and tail flattening. "I was just saying, you never know until you try. You don't have to do anything. I just don't want to be a part in his pride and feelings getting hurt some more. I am done helping out in relationships like that." She said, making her point clear.

Rasper, getting bored, decided he would have some fun. He would leave the gym, his fur and clothes smelling a bit from sweating a lot from lifting weights. He would find his way back to the lobby and notice the Tiger at the counter gone, and began to sniff out the innocent young male he met earlier.
