The Lylat Luxury Hotel: Part 5

Travis smiled that she replied. "Pretty good friends huh?" he would ask, pointing out the hand gesture she was using.

"I guess you could say that" Aria said with a smirk

Travis could not believe he was going to ask this. "Oh something...more?" he would jokingly ask, praying to god she would say what he wanted to hear.

Vance nodded his head in amazment, "You would ace the classes I am in with ease.." he comments, "The professors would love you.." he stuck his tongue out, then held out his hand. "The name is Vance.."

Gearhart looked up, then sheepishly grinned. "Yeah... I have major test anxiety. Homework, in class discussions, I can do that. Not tests though."

"Gearhart." He said, shaking Vance's hand.

Flux went into the bathroom, and washed his face. ...I am so F***ed...

Travis did his best to keep a smiling face, he knew it when Flux had told him he wished Travis had mentioned something to him earlier, that something like this was bound to happen. Travis would get up, "Sorry got to go back to work.." he replied, but before leaving for the lobby, he would head into the restroom, "Flux?" he would ask allowed.

Gearhart looked up, then sheepishly grinned. "Yeah... I have major test anxiety. Homework, in class discussions, I can do that. Not tests though."

"Gearhart." He said, shaking Vance's hand.

Vance let go of the hand shake, "If you ever enroll, I could help you...I'm great at taking tests...I study like no tomarrow." he replied, chuckling a bit.

'How come that always happens?' Aria thought to herself as the fox left

Travis did his best to keep a smiling face, he knew it when Flux had told him he wished Travis had mentioned something to him earlier, that something like this was bound to happen. Flux's ears perked, and he turned to the fox. "...Yes?" He asked, his ears dropping.

Vance let go of the hand shake, "If you ever enroll, I could help you...I'm great at taking tests...I study like no tomarrow." he replied, chuckling a bit.

Gearhart chuckled. "Yeah... With my rep at schools, not many would take me. Needles to say I can't afford a nicer school anyways."

Flux's ears perked, and he turned to the fox. "...Yes?" He asked, his ears dropping.

Vance would chuckle, I'm not in the best right now, I am actually taking a job as well....the clean up crew at a local hospital....to pay for the school...and as I work there....a lot of the doctors let me in on what they are doing and how..." he admitted, smiling at Hart.

Vance would chuckle, I'm not in the best right now, I am actually taking a job as well....the clean up crew at a local hospital....to pay for the school...and as I work there....a lot of the doctors let me in on what they are doing and how..." he admitted, smiling at Hart.

"Ah. That sounds kinda cool." He noted aloud. "Must learn a lot of stuff on the side there."

Jason took a sigh in relaxation while he was still in the tub. Nothing could bother him but the cold winds blowing to himself. He wondered if he called a helicopter pilot, he could maybe leave Lylat and head back home.

Travis began to tremble a bit, and when Flux placed his hand on Travis' shoulder, Travis let a few more tears go. "Well...." he began taking in a deep breath, "Thanks for giving me some hope..." he said, stopping there. He would back away form the wolf, opening the door of the restroom, exiting, and heading towards the lobby, letting himself cry completely this time.

"Ah. That sounds kinda cool." He noted aloud. "Must learn a lot of stuff on the side there."

Vance laughed, "Yeah, once a doctor let me help with a surgery." he proudly, said in a whispered tone, since that kind of thing was illegal.

Gearhart shuddered. "Ugh... I know a lot about this stuff, but I can't handle surgery. Not my area of greatness. Too much stress." He said, his ears flattening as he said it and took a drink from his cup.

Flux sighed as the fox left. He walked out a bit after, a little saddened. He walked over to Aria and sat next to her. "...What did you say to him?" He asked calmly.

"He just asked if we were more than friends and I said you were my boyfriend" Aria said simply

Krystal pulled out her simple meal of 6 chicken nuggets with sweat and  sour Sauce not really looking up at the two at all.

It didn't take the two young foxes very long to finish their respective meals.  They were both rather hungry.

"How's yours?" Airi asked, judging that the older vixen's meal was something chickeny by the scent.

"He just asked if we were more than friends and I said you were my boyfriend" Aria said simply

"Ah..." Flux said, looking a bit away as he took a drink from the cup. "...Aria... I-... I know you say that, but... I really still need to think." He said, having to get it out. He knew this was the situation, but it might have slipped Aria's mind somehow.

"I know you need to think, but we... we never broke up" Aria said

Gearhart shuddered. "Ugh... I know a lot about this stuff, but I can't handle surgery. Not my area of greatness. Too much stress." He said, his ears flattening as he said it and took a drink from his cup.

Vance laughed, "And I must admit, I get squeamish at the sight of blood.....but I am slowly getting over it." his laughing went down to a chuckle.

Meanwhile, a certain missfit was lingering around the entrance to the  Cafeteria, but as seeing Aria go in their earlier, he remained outside. But it wasn't until a certain folf went running past him. Rasper would smirk seeing as how the "chew toy" to his blade was once again moving. Travis would not have noticed Rasper as he left the cafeteria. Rasper would cough, then laugh, "Trouble with that heart of yours?" he would ask him. Travis would pause, recognizing the voice, forcing his blood to boil.

[Fluxy]

"I know you need to think, but we... we never broke up" Aria said

"But..." He started. "...He is the guy..." He said, his ears flattening as he did, then turned to her.

Vance laughed, "Ant that is a good trait too....I have read some of the greatest doctors, never got their masters or whatever to be what they are. They just did in times of need.." he said with a smile, remembering the story that his father told him of how his father and mother met.

Travis would turn and grit his teeth, "GET THE F*** AWAY FROM ME!" he barked. Rasper would just laugh, "Temper, temper, how do you expect to when someone elses heart when yours is full of conflicting circumstances?"  Travis could not help it, he got into Rasper's face and Rasper laughed, "Seeking to be at the end of my blade again?" which forced Travis to turn away, frustrated, and heading to his room.

Cel was finally back to working the front desk, his mind finally cleared of its burdens.

Well, for the most part.  Things still nagged at the back of his mind, but he figured that those involved had been able to sort everything out well enough seeing as they hadn't come to talk to him again.

Leaning back in his chair, he let out a quiet sigh, daring to clasp his hands behind his head and close his eyes.  After all, no one was in the lobby just then, as far as the tiger knew--At least, no one who would care.

Bri steps in from the elevator "Cel, I thought you were told not to be wasting the hotel's time" She joked

Gearhart shrugged. "I'm done with that side of me. I am tired of needing to do that." The young wolf said. "I'd rather like just simple work like right now. I don't need another 'Time of need' situation." He finished, taking a drink from his cup.

Vance chuckled, "I don't think anyone wants a 'time of need' situation. I'm working to be a freelance doctor anyway. I want my license to be able to travel, offering free help." he admitted.

Travis would walk maybe a few feet before saying screw it and headed to the front desk. He noticed the other and nodded. He was still on a goal to get all the computers working properly, so he went to the one at the far end of the desk, and once again, triyng to work one handed.
