Vance nodded, "That is fine, we all have our reasons." He then smirked, "Do you think, maybe we can exchange notes sometimes, I teach you a little and you can show me of few things you picked up?" he would ask with a smile.

Gearhart shrugged. "I have no problem with that. I don't mind learning some new things." he said in his casual tone as he regularly did.

"Just any cheap room is fine." He replies. "Seems like something's on your mind, kid"

Cel blinked, most of his anger being replaced by confusion--or rather, the anger being set aside for the time being.  He didn't think anyone in the hotel had spoken to him about his age for a long time since he had been working.

"Just a bit, yeah...but don't worry about it.  An employee concern...Now then, if you could put your name down," the tiger explained, pushing a small list towards the newcomer, "then we can get you settled in."

"Hmm..." Jason was a bit puzzled while in the lobby, he either couldn't find the firing range or he didn't look hard enough.

He held the camera up to his eyes and aimmed the frame to wherever Jason was facing, he walked to the dining hall so he could eat.

Gearhart shrugged. "I have no problem with that. I don't mind learning some new things." he said in his casual tone as he regularly did.

Vance smiled, "Then that is great, I'm trying to outgrow common science though, I wish to know more about what REALLY is going on in Lylat....seeing what medicines are working and which ones are placebos.." he admitted.

Travis would get a shock from this one that caused both of his legs to kick out, literally kicking a chair over. He leaned up for a moment, taking in a deep breath and leaned back to continue his work.

"If you say so." The doberman says as he takes the registration and fills it out. He signs it Raymond Marlowe. "This'll do it then. Can you tell me where the room is?"

Flux sighed. "Aria... I really am hurt by this whole mess, and am trying to find who I want to choose. I am at the point where I might just pick nobody, and that is not what I want, or either of you want. I am trying to know him a bit better to get an idea if I feel I might be happier with him." He said. "I know you don't like that, and might want to stop it now, but I am going to be honest." Flux finished, rubbing Aria's leg to try and calm her a bit.

Vance smiled, "Then that is great, I'm trying to outgrow common science though, I wish to know more about what REALLY is going on in Lylat....seeing what medicines are working and which ones are placebos.." he admitted.

"Huh... Never really thought about doing a test like that.." Gearhart said, now thinking about it. "I never really had an issue about it,  seeing as I make part of most of the medicines I use."

After jumping slightly when the chair was suddenly knocked over, Cel considered asking if the fox was okay but in the end assumed he knew what he was doing.  "Here, one moment, Sir..."  Pulling out a drawer, the tiger fiddled through some keycards for a minute before pulling one out, afterward writing a quick note down.  With a small nod of satisfaction, he held the keycard out towards the dog.  "Here you are, Sir.  Enjoy your stay."

Aria froze, she did not like hearing that at all, Flux knew that, she wanted badly to remind him how she felt but needed to stay strong, she just sat there as the waiter delivered their food and walked off

Raymond looks over the desk at Travis. "Is that idiot ok? Doesn't he know to unplug what he has to be working on?"

"I'm sure he knows what he's doing, Sir." Cel replied calmly, though not appreciating the insult towards his apparent coworker.

Jason took a picture of the pictures that were in the dining hall for his scoop, he couldn't say why the pictures in the hall were needed.

He headed back to the lobby and walked near the front desk, putting his camera down but not completely dropping it from his hands.

Flux sighed. "Thanks." he told to the waiter. He sat there, rubbing Aria's back and wings. He stayed silent, knowing anything he said would just make Aria upset.

Travis would still fiddle with the machine, the smell of slightly singed fur filling the air from his hand. He chuckled a bit, thinking of how Ryn would have punched him by now for making her worry, but then he sighed to himself, missing her a lot. Wishing she was her for him to talk to.

"Huh... Never really thought about doing a test like that.." Gearhart said, now thinking about it. "I never really had an issue about it,  seeing as I make part of most of the medicines I use."

Vance chuckled, "I am a weird one as my parents always say..." he amitted

Raymond looks over the desk at Travis. "Is that idiot ok? Doesn't he know to unplug what he has to be working on?"

Travis would chuckle, "Yes....yes they have, but where would the fun be, plus it tell me exactly where the problems are.." he amitted

Gearhart just stayed sorta silent, still thinking. "Hmm? Oh... Well, that's nice..." He said, not really liking all the places their conversation were going, but not blaming his hopefully new friend soon for any of it.

The smile on Vance's face would begin to dim, "Something wrong?" he would ask.

"Fun? Getting shocked? " Raymond shakes his head in disbelief. "Well, if you're getting paid for this, you must know what he's doing." In truth, he still thought Travis was a little nuts.

Gearhart looked up at Vance. "Hm? Oh, yeah... Fine." He said, taking a drink from his cup. "Just my headache. That's all."

Travis chuckled, "Yeah, getting paid for this is worth it.." he would say, suddenly not thinking about work at the moment.

Gearhart looked up at Vance. "Hm? Oh, yeah... Fine." He said, taking a drink from his cup. "Just my headache. That's all."

Vance lowered his ears, "Oh, sorry to hear that, get them often?" he asked.

"...You could say." Gearhart said, not really wanting to talk about his issues. "But don't worry. They aren't a big nuisance." He added the lie at the end in attempt to reassure Vance.

Vance hated his ability to pick up on things, but went along with it. "Alright, so what exact part in the medic field are you into?" he asked, helping to change the topic.

"Hmph. That's good." Raymond says to Travis. Something just says trouble with this one. No, he was getting paranoid. Raymond started to rub his head. Good thing this was a luxury hotel. "Thanks again, kid." He says to Cel. He heads off to his room.

With the doberman now in the back of his mind, Cel's thoughts turned once again to Rasper.

His ear twitching, he again sat back in his seat, crossing his arms over his chest.  He didn't like thinking of the wolf.

Travis would get up, finally finishing the repairs. He would close the compartment and sit down and think, something he hated doing. He would turn to Cel, "so.....do you know who let that bas*** in?" he would ask quietly.
