The Lylat Luxury Hotel: Part 5

[Guest Mr. Mario]

"That was odd..." Jason mumbled to himself, taking a big breath, he walked over to the counter and asked "Is there maybe some way I could perhaps get a room?"

Travis would get up, finally finishing the repairs. He would close the compartment and sit down and think, something he hated doing. He would turn to Cel, "so.....do you know who let that bas*** in?" he would ask quietly.

"That was odd..." Jason mumbled to himself, taking a big breath, he walked over to the counter and asked "Is there maybe some way I could perhaps get a room?"

"Into the hotel?" he asked, soon to be interrupted by another aspiring guest.

Straightening up again, Cel nodded.  "Yes, just write your name down on the list and we'll get you a room."

Aria still hasn't touched her food, any sense of security she had once was gone now

Flux sighed. "...Come on... Please eat something. Here, I'll eat a little too." He said, taking a small bite from the burger. "There, now your turn."

Vance hated his ability to pick up on things, but went along with it. "Alright, so what exact part in the medic field are you into?" he asked, helping to change the topic.

Gearhart cracked his neck in adjustment to lighten tension. "Well, I guess you could say I am into the makings of the medicine, some of it at least. I use pressure points and acupuntcure points with my fingers, so physical for the most part. It's hard to explain. Most of the things I do aren't really categorized perfectly."

Straightening up again, Cel nodded.  "Yes, just write your name down on the list and we'll get you a room."

Travis was about to speak when Cel jumped up. He waited patiently for him to finish.

"All right." Jason said, looking at the clipboard and writing his name down on the clipboard...

Vance waved a hand, "I know what you mean, by pressing certain nerves and muscles, you relax the tension, thus releifing the pain, my mom taught me a few things..." he explained, being a bit of a show off.

"Mhmm!" Gearhart said. He got used to people showing off and didn't mind it. He didn't know how much Vance new about it, but with Gearhart's senses to exactly pinpoint places, and practice in this style for two years straight, he knew he was good enough to help anyone with it.

Aria took a small bite(If you can call it that) of the burger, barely getting anything out of it "There" She said

Flux sighed again. "Look, I didn't like saying it, but it needed to be said." he started, placing his hands on hers. "I know you want to say something, go ahead." He offered, knowing she would only feel worse if she didn't.

"All right." Jason said, looking at the clipboard and writing his name down on the clipboard...

"Annnd one moment please..."  Again, the tiger made a quick sweep through a drawer of the desk before pulling out a keycard, holding it out towards Jason after scribbling a short note down.  "Here you are, Sir.  Enjoy your stay."

Jason took his keycard then putted it in his pocket in his pants. He then nodded a bit and walked away to the hallway while holding his camera. He said "Don't mind me, I'm just doing my job as a photographer."

Flux sighed again. "Look, I didn't like saying it, but it needed to be said." he started, placing his hands on hers. "I know you want to say something, go ahead." He offered, knowing she would only feel worse if she didn't.

"Flux.... You know how I feel" Aria said "And I can imagine how you feel.  I understand what's going on, but it's just going to take some time for me to get used to"

Vance chuckled. He let the silence flood from him as he began to drink some tea.

Gearhart was still thinking on the side as he continued. "So... What would you say your field is?" He pondered, taking a drink from his cup afterwords.

"Flux.... You know how I feel" Aria said "And I can imagine how you feel.  I understand what's going on, but it's just going to take some time for me to get used to"

Flux nodded, and stayed silent. "...Would it make you better if I wasn't here right now?" He asked, just wanting to help Aria calm down.

"Alright." Flux said. He rubbed her leg, taking another small bite from the burger. "I will be here then."

Gearhart was still thinking on the side as he continued. "So... What would you say your field is?" He pondered, taking a drink from his cup afterwords.

Flux nodded, and stayed silent. "...Would it make you better if I wasn't here right now?" He asked, just wanting to help Aria calm down.

Vance chuckled, "Hard to say really, I guess the nerve system....but medicine is a close match.." he honestly admitted.

He said; And reading all about was certainly an understatement. Although, he lacked the actual self learning and gain from not practicing in each one.

"Alright." Flux said. He rubbed her leg, taking another small bite from the burger. "I will be here then."

Flux stayed silent for a moment, and looked at Aria. "Is there something you want to talk about if I am going to be here? Or would you just like the company?" he asked, not liking the complete silence, but willing to put up with it to help her.

"I just want to be with you more if these could be the last days" Aria said, a single tear forming in her sparkling amber eye

Travis was needing to talk to someone...anyone....well...except Rasper of course. So at that moment he was hoping if he could talk to someone outside the loop, and that happened to be Cel at the moment.

"I just want to be with you more if these could be the last days" Aria said, a single tear forming in her sparkling amber eye

Flux nodded silently. "Okay." He said, putting his arm around her, and pulling her close to him, trying to get her to lean on him. "Come on." He said silently, allowing Aria to rest on him.

Vance smiled, "Oh I do the same, you never know when  something might come up." he responded.

"Yup." Gearhart added, rubbing his head a bit more, then becoming silent, and looking around, a look of confusion on him.

Aria rested her head on Flux's shoulder, letting the tear fall

Now that the guest had been handled, Cel let out a quiet sigh, again turning his attention to Travis.  "Sorry.  You were saying something, right?"

Aria rested her head on Flux's shoulder, letting the tear fall

Flux rubbed her with one hand, and used the other to dry her tears. He rested his muzzle on her other head. "...It will be okay in the end." He said softly as the two had the moment.
