The Lylat Luxury Hotel: Part 5

Gazing around the dining hall, it seemed that by this point everyone had paired up.

Almost everyone, at least.

There seemed to be two, a wolf and a hawk-human hybrid--an odd case in Lylat.  While the wolf simply seemed bored, however, the hybrid had a saddening note to her posture.  Curious, Tucker got to his feet, running a hand back through his messy hair before approaching the corner where she sat.  "Hey." he greeted her with a friendly smile, gesturing to the seat beside her.  "Mind if I sit?"

"Well, I'm partial to food...You?"  With a quiet giggle, she took Kaila's hand, leading her down the hall toward the elevator.

"Sure, doesn't bother me" Aria said

With a straight face, she shrugged and remarked, "I don't mind if you just wanna eat a tray or something."

"Sure, doesn't bother me" Aria said

Sitting down beside the hawk-girl, the quoll quietly looked her over.

Not because he was perverted.  He was just trying to learn more about her.

"So, if I may, what's wrong?"

Cel's ear twitched as the vixen's response, not having known at all about these problems she was having.  "When did it start?  Who treated you differently?"

'W-Wait, Airi, not yet!  She's not in the best of moods!'

But Gin was too late.

"Ryn!" she cried out happily, leaping onto the vixen's back in an attempt to surprise her.

Cel, at least, was surprised, stumbling back with wide eyes.

Ryn turned, quickly reaching for a grenade as she felt the pounce. She didn't pull it out as she picked one though, noticing after a second that it was Airi.

She sighed, placing the explosive back. "Airi..." She said, while playfully rolling her eyes, quickly hiding all her sorrow masterfully to the two fourteen year olds. "Don't scare me like that!" She said while hugging her. "Where is your brother?" She asked, pulling back a bit to look at her.

With a straight face, she shrugged and remarked, "I don't mind if you just wanna eat a tray or something."

Sitting down beside the hawk-girl, the quoll quietly looked her over.

Not because he was perverted.  He was just trying to learn more about her.

"So, if I may, what's wrong?"

"Well, trays I hear, are just dead calories" Kaila joked "I'd eat a brick instead"

"What do you mean what's wrong?" Aria asked with pretend ignorance, trying to get him to not talk about that subject

Ryn turned, quickly reaching for a grenade as she felt the pounce. She didn't pull it out as she picked one though, noticing after a second that it was Airi.

While Airi gladly hugged her back, grinning widely, Gin raised his hand in indication.  "I totally scared you!" she happily announced the obvious, her tail swishing behind her.

Her brother, meanwhile, wasn't too thrilled anymore.  He didn't like how quickly she hid her sadness, what was so obvious to him a few moments before.  'Something's wrong...' he thought to himself, idly sliding his hands into his pockets as he slowly stepped towards the two.

"Well, trays I hear, are just dead calories" Kaila joked "I'd eat a brick instead"

"While -I-, on the other hand, will get something nice.  Maybe chicken."

'Ooh, and hot chocolate...<3'

"What do you mean what's wrong?" Aria asked with pretend ignorance, trying to get him to not talk about that subject

"What's upsetting you?" Tucker asked, knowing all too well she knew what he meant.  He didn't just want to drop it, though.  He was curious.  "Relationship troubles?"

"No not you, the f***ing mechanics that were fixing my ship made some sort of mistake, and now they expect me to pay for it!" He said in a angry tone.

John's ears rose a little, and he breathed a sigh of relief and he said "Where are the mechanics?"

"It's okay...just promise me you'll still work on it?  I mean hey, I've started trying to eat more often -and- I've even spoken to some new people."

"Are you working off that extra food?" Rachel asked.

KRystal soon turned around seeing Airi jump on someone  at first she started Running over to Ryn then stopped short of  her "You two alright?"

John's ears rose a little, and he breathed a sigh of relief and he said "Where are the mechanics?"

"The shop down the road' He answered "They want me to pay 5000 for a screw up they did!" He said in a angry but controlled tone.

"Are you working off that extra food?" Rachel asked.

Clasping his hands casually behind his head, Ris nodded.  "What do you think I've been doing all this time away from you?  I've been out and about quite a bit."

KRystal soon turned around seeing Airi jump on someone  at first she started Running over to Ryn then stopped short of  her "You two alright?"

The young, blind vixen nodded, her grin remaining.  "We're fine, Krystal.  Just saying hi again."

Gearhart took notice to the conversation that Aria, the girl he met earlier this week, and a new comer to him conversed as he read the news paper some more.

'Hello  I'm Krystal a friend of Airi and Gin's you alright?" Krystal asked looking worridly at Ryn.

"Oh sorry." Rachel apologized. "I am hungry though."

'Hello  I'm Krystal a friend of Airi and Gin's you alright?" Krystal asked looking worridly at Ryn.

Ryn chuckled. "Yes, I am perfectly fine. And that's a pretty name. Krystal." She said, honestly liking the name. She was still herself though in the sense of not offering her name too. It was not a purpose sign of disrespect, just a bad habit she gained.

Ryn chuckled. "You sure did." She said, letting go, and looking to the side, and noticed Gin. "There you are, Gin! Have you been doing good lately?" She asked with a smile, a great fake one, but obviously a lie to Gin and Cel by now.

Gin nodded, offering her a smile as well, though it was almost as fake as her own.  He wasn't sad, but his curiosity regarding the vixen's true emotions occupied a good portion of his thoughts.

The tiger was in the same boat, his mind still racing.  'I -hate- that wolf...and all those people who treated her wro--...What...Wait, w-what if -I- treated her that way?'

"That actually sounds good" Kaila said, thinking about the possibilities

"Well, we don't have to decide till we get down there, do we?"

Aria bit her lip "Yeah" She said, looking down

With a small nod, he quietly said, "Go on.  I'm listening."

"Oh sorry." Rachel apologized. "I am hungry though."

"It's okay...Do...I look like I haven't been working it off, though?" he asked, sounding a bit worried.  He had liked his figure, and he thought he looked the same, if not better.

Gin nodded, offering her a smile as well, though it was almost as fake as her own.  He wasn't sad, but his curiosity regarding the vixen's true emotions occupied a good portion of his thoughts.

Ryn smiled back at him and chuckled. "Well, that's good to see!" She said, walking up to him and hugging him. "Heh, it's been a while since I have seen you two!" She noted aloud, directing it to Gin and Airi.

"I don't know Ris." Rachel replied Honestly.

"And your name is?" Krystal asked Ryn offering a hand for her to shake.

"You wouldn't happen to know the name would you?" John said, "I have a feeling like i know the place"

"I don't know what the idiot's name is all I know is I'm not paying for his mistakes." He answered.

[Fluxy]

"And your name is?" Krystal asked Ryn offering a hand for her to shake.

Ryn looked back up, and chuckled. "Oh, how rude of me." She apologized, releasing the hug, and shaking Krystal's hand. "Rynian is mine." She said with a smile, the same fake one. "It's good to meet you."

Ryn usually was not the best liar, but around those who were around the twins age and younger, she couldn't let them see if she was upset. It invigorated an unnatural talent in it if you will.

"I don't know Ris." Rachel replied Honestly.

That only made Ris worry.

'Maybe I should cut back a little bit...'

"Right...A-Anyway, let's get you some food."

'Ahh, the classic.'

"I'm sure you wouldn't be so upset if you thought he might have feelings, Miss.  How far have they gone?"

Ryn looked back up, and chuckled. "Oh, how rude of me." She apologized, releasing the hug, and shaking Krystal's hand. "Rynian is mine." She said with a smile, the same fake one. "It's good to meet you."

Still happy to see the vixen again, her ears perked and tail continuing to swish, Airi asked, "Ryn, can Gin and I do something with you?"

Krystal smirke pulling Ryn into a hug. "I don't think that was quiet enough ,Rynian  you sure your alright?" the blue vixen asked.

"What about you your  starting to look thin again." Rachel noted.

Ris blinked, tipping his head to one side, suddenly confused.  "I thought you just said it looked like I wasn't working it off..."

"I-I don't know, far enough to give him trouble in choosing" Aria said, still looking down

"I said I don't know, I'd have to have a picture to compare." Rachel replied.
