Resident Evil 4

I don't know if that would be worth it. Defeating the enimies with the guns is pretty basic. You just kind of shoot them untill they stop coming after you. You could point out some good camping spots where you can pick them off. Boss stratigies could be helpful as well.

Oh, and one other thing. If you stand on the dock before getting into the boat to battle the sea monster and shoot into the water, it eats you. Hillarious.

No offense but this certainly isn't the best RE game. I really enjoyed Resident Evil 2, this still a good game though!

No offence, but just doingthat isn't the brightest idea... There's actual strategy required to make this easy. Heh, I should know. I've studied each pretty thoroughly. Oh,and it's called Del Lago, and that's a lake. Not meaning to sound mean or anything, just correcting.

Yeah... Only flaw I found in RE2 was voice acting... I just like RE4 almost as much.

well, the voice acting can't be as bad as my brothers singing, so I think I'll try RE2,

Back to the Topic: I started playing on Master Jal's save, he was half way through the second round when he got bored and let me take over, so far I'm on the third round and have saved ashley, I've been using the IR, TMP, Handgun, and some times the Rifle, so that I can save up the important Ammunition, I have over seventy Magnum bullets, one of thees days I'm just going to go nuts on a Regenerator, or an El Giganty, or something and waste so much magnum Ammo :)

Oh man, I remember playing aroundwith the minethrower... it was AWESOME.  :)

And the TMP? ...I NEVER use that one... I found it to bea waste of Pesetas... but whatever floats yer boat, eh?

I use it for the fun of it, I could sell the ammo like I used too, but I found it more fun to use a variety of weapons, plus it's a challenge now that I don't use the IR all of the time :)

the Striker's supposubly better, but I'd like too hear why you like the Riot gun?

Technically, the Striker IS better... But, then again, I have no qualms with the riot gun. Haven't used it, so I may not make any comments...

The striker does fire faster, but that is not really importiant when each shot easily shreds swarms of the deranged villagers.

Though, the Striker's exclusive let'sit carry 100 shots... which is shweet.  :)

Well I have a fully upgraded Striker so for now I'm going to stick with that but I'll try the Riot gun next time I have some spare gold...

The normal shoty is better than the other two ones, because with the extra upgrade it has better firepower for far targets (hi critical rate too for headshots) , meaning if you have the first pistol, the first shoty, the first rifle, you will be owning if you are good with  headshots. The first pistol with the extra upgrade has a mega hi critical rate and  I found that the first rifle has better penetration power than the other rifle, and its power is relative better if you fully upgrade it, as for the two magnums the first one could have better firepower when is fully upgraded but you will be wasting to much money on it, and I guess the killer7 is faster.

reload, just upgrade them....and firing rates, the pistol works, and with the others, you wont need to fire fast, just accuracy

You've got a point there, I'm just glad your waving it at me instead of someone who might get hurt.

I'll try on the fourth round right now I'm really low on gold, did you read a stratagy guide, or are you a stat-monger?

I have played the game with different weapons sets, the best weapon set that fit me was:

red9

first shoty

rifle

killer7

you might ask "why red9 and not normal pistol?", well red 9 has extreme firepower, and kinda hi critical rate, and not all the enemies could be criticalized, also with this set I was able to upgrade everything at max, and I never ran out of ammo, but it's more like a matter of taste than a matter of power, because the striker could work for people that like to shoot everything, the semi-automatic rifle works great to, but you will be running out of rifle ammo fast, and well the TMP, is only effective with low health enemies, for example, the horde of ganados that comes when you are trappen with Luis in that cabbin, also it works fine with the big cheese.

Your a purest in the sence of you don't use the IR right?

well anyways, I didn't get to play through the whole game on my own since I prefer the Nintendo version, but have a Ps2.

I play on Jal's Gamecube so he gave me his save game and he had already beaten the game one and a half times, that and I don't have much time to play when I'm there, but that's all excuses if I didn't die so often I would have beaten more of the game...

I haven't bought any special weapon, non the IR, the chigago weapon, matilda or the one that you get after getting all the stars on mercenary mode with everyone. And yeah GC version is better because the GC can handle more frames per second than the PS2, meaning that RE4 for play is more slower, with less graphical power , and well  with many strange mods and a hardest difficulty.

Ya, that's what I thought. It's to bad I don't get to play it more often...

I don't have much else to say on that subject, so lets move on.

How do you deal with Regenerators if you don't use the infrared scope or does that work on the other rifle, do you use grenades?

well after a while playing the game , I just dont use the infrared scope, the plagas are always on the same place, red9  or any shoty works great on them if you know where to shoot, just NEVER take their legs, they become jumping crazy machines .

Jal warned me about that and I did it anyway, I managed to somehow dodge it though...

The regenerators are harder to kill without the scope, but I was able to do it once by just shooting it many times with the shotgun. It is easier on the second play through since you have the IR scope to begin with. The IR scope can also be used to take out those cloaking guys in the sewer before they come after you.

I didn't think of that, I'll have to try it next time, actually I'm in the castle right now so I'm almost to that point again, but the Regenerators, I managed to kill the one in the jail(the last one in the round) with Grenades I thru the up at the wall, so that they exploded at chest-hight, Jal wasn't there so...
