Steve
yeah.... TMP vs Krauser sucks..."reboots game and starts again" oh slipp, you forgot that no magnums and no grenades for the challenge too , more like...after you buy the first rifle and TPM, kill the merchant dude >_<, but well the ultimate challenge is passing the game only with knife, on pro mode, without restoring health , oh and killing everything...<______________< o_O
salmon45
I like using the fully upgraded Red9 a lot. I do not think beating the game with just the knife would be possible. How would you kill the midget guy without guns?
Steve
yeah we know that xD, salazar can't be beated with knife for obvious reasons, same with krauser because time, hmm maybe...I got an idea!, you can use only 10 bullets of handgun ammo on each boss <__________________________< "waits for slipp's reaction"
Zack
Hmmm 10 handgun ammo for each boss... I will only need one for the first boss then *points gun to head* >_>
Leo K. Lighthouse
<_<... Well Slipps suicide aside, I sold my IR and switched to the weapon set Steve9 suggested and I've made excellent progress since. I was wondering why don't Steve9 and slipp challenge eachother by way of Merc. Times?
Zack
Its a good idea but mercenaries mode has alot of randomness factors in it, I had the idea of 2 different ways to challange, one is just normally through the game, and the other is a pro challange, pick 2 weapons of your choice maximum tuneup and only use those 2 weapons, I used these ways to challange my friend xD
Leo K. Lighthouse
Ya, I guess your right. I don't have much playtime on that game so I won't even bother trying to compete against you guys...

Zack
You carry all weapons over to the next game when you beat one, so just max tuneup on one game, and when you start the next game you will have them, and Ill take Semi Auto Rifle(obviouslly) and Striker <<
Steve
ohh....I thought you had the handgun all the way alone, until you reached the castle yeah you combination works, I'd choose that too I guess
Zack
Upon expirementing and practicing some, I see that you cant go through on Pro mode and carry over weapons, So I carefully devised some special details Game Type 1 - Playing through the game 100% normally on Professional mode with the goal of the lowest time possible Specifics - Each death adds 30 minutes to your time (I trust no one will cheat and reset >.>) Game Type 2 - Playing through the game on normal mode, with 2 fully tuned up weapons of your choice, and one full box of ammo for each to carry over, No rocket launchers can be used (Even the one you FIND in the castle) and obviouslly Infinate Launcher, Chicago Typewriter, and Handcannon arent allowed, and Max health with no carry over health healing items Specifics - Each death adds 1 hour to your time (Its normal mode, and you will have full health from playing through the game before to get the weapons, so I doubt dying is possible) For the second one, Matilda allowed or not? and Im going into specifics because, this is a great idea for anyone who wants to try ;;>>, sort of a small competition *hides from Steve*
Steve
I would go for game type 1.....I guess type 2 would be kinda hard....no use of health items will be a pain <<, and I tend to die to much..... hmmmm, maybe we could add more challenging if we say that..each kill will decrease your time for like....5s. well I have... 13 hours, 34 min 1053 kills 18 deaths I die to much xD
Dr. Wilopolis
yeah we know that xD, salazar can't be beated with knife for obvious reasons, same with krauser because time, hmm maybe...I got an idea!, you can use only 10 bullets of handgun ammo on each boss <__________________________< "waits for slipp's reaction" Salazar, ya can't hit with a knife... But I killed Krauser in 30 seconds with just the knife... The knife gains a damage bonus of dealing 5000% or sumthin' on him... It kills him QUICK. Steve
hmmm...I tried that on pro mode...didn't work /= , maybe If I hit him more....
Leo K. Lighthouse
o_O, I used up all my spare TMP ammo killing him yesterday! I wish I had known about the knife thing soonerT_T (His knees are easy to shoot with the TMP)
Dr. Wilopolis
Hee. Most overlook it.
Leo K. Lighthouse
Well anyways, my current weapon layout is, Striker(it turns out it does more damage then the Riot gun), Killer7, Red9, TMP, and the Semi-auto Rifle. All of them fully upgraded, I sold all my explosive weapons, and the game is actually much more rewarding now, and I've beaten it twice so I know all the puzzles now, the game is just zooming by at this point. Dr. Wilopolis
Why does EVERYONE use the Killer 7? Am I the only one who kept the Broken Butterfly? A magnum is used for power... Killer 7 end fire power: 35.0. Broken Butterfly's end fire power: 50.0. It may take longer to upgrade, but it's well worth it, if you ask me. Leo K. Lighthouse
What!!! but it starts with a lower firepower!!! 50.00!!! Gah!!
Dr. Wilopolis
It's called an Exclusive, sah. May be expensive, but it's worth it. :nervous:
Leo K. Lighthouse
ya, I fully upgrade all my weapons but I would have used the Broken Butterfly if I had known that sooner!
Dr. Wilopolis
Well, now you know. Have fun blastin' heads off with the BB. If you get it upgraded and all.
Leo K. Lighthouse
It won't take me long, I have plenty of Ptas after switching the disks again.
Zack
Well handcannon is the best magnum, its firepower is 60 before exclusive upgrade, the exclusive upgrade for it makes it 99.9 and infinate ammo though, but its not really a magnum, it has its own type of ammo for it
Leo K. Lighthouse
I can't get the handcannon, Jal hasn't unlocked it yet and I haven't even tried mercenaries...
