Robert Monroe
Non furry at the KLA?ha ha wat.I've known the place since it was created. I was friends with the founders. I went back around 2006 to troll.... and then became the locale debate guy. Then a mod, because apparently people loved me even though they hated me.LMAOYou, Robert, are a furry, weather you like it or not. You're just furry for Krystal. My ass I am. I don't give a single damn for Krystal. She's like.... at the bottom of my Starfoc character favorites totem pole.Who said you had to be a furry to hang out and have a good time with your online KLA friends? But... there will be furries. Furries everywhere. :C
LoneWolf
But... there will be furries. Furries everywhere. :CReasons not to go to a furcon. Just...being surrounded by mostly gays and bi's would creep me out quite a bit.

Still though, from my experience there are a lot more fun if you go with people you know locally or are at least good friends online with. I already know a couple of friends locally in Toronto who are going and one former member of the KLA has been bugging me to go as well (met up with him after a tournament in Chicago). That being said, I personally wouldn't go to a fur con by myself and not know anyone prior.

"User"
Yeah, exactly. Also, the awkward factor is toned down quite a bit.Yeah, it still felt awkward though, all the other people at the hotel (who weren't part of the con) were looking at the furries and giving the "WTF" expressions due to some of their actions, which should have been done privately >_>. I'm walking around with a con badge over my neck and I'm thinking to myself "why am I associated with furries?" LOL :)

I actually have more gay/bi friends than straight. (well bi anyway)
