I think all of these are great ideas (I like the town setting and all)

as for the fighting...remember we have to keep this stuff within ruling....we can fight.....but no explicit detail of it....I liked how we had to make any fights among characters off set.....maybe take any fighting into PM....and pretty much return to the main rp acting out the results....just a thought

That I am going to take up as my bad, Cortet. I did tell you that, but because it was what Tyler said as a rule for the hotel.

Since this is a new one though, we can make new rulings for this one. Although, I do agree only simple brawls and such.

Well, fights like this should not last more than three or so posts. Do remember that, being in a public place, these skirmishes would at least be broken up before they got too far ahead. And besides, a good RPer knows how to have his or her character lose. I have faith that you guys won't disappoint.

I can deal with what I did between Rasper and Flux....holding his throat...(Even though it was not to fight...but.....I'll explain later ) But I must admit, I hate detail fighting anyway....having to read carefully into another posters moves ><

And besides, a good RPer knows how to have his or her character lose. I have faith that you guys won't disappoint.

The last part is exactly what people need to do.

Being able to say your character losses, shows much better RP'ing than just making it so you win.

And yes, a public place like this would have simple fights stopped quite fast with the combination of security, and other players there wanting to stop the fight.

Now I have a bigger question......and I think this one is important as the Hotel was shut down.....if we bring in our old characters....Aria, Flux, Cel, Travis and so forth......and since this is starting from scratch....are they going to know each other....or are we gonna start "Days of our furries" all over? Well my characters are going to remember people, I don't know about yours.

It does sound like they should remember eachother, but some people may not like that (Ris said that an RP is almost never canonised to him) and we probably don't want this to just end up being LLH 6.

I agree.....unless we litterally say that the hotel got shut down (say due to poor pest control or something lol) and we all moved to actual homes and such.

Actually, no. The Canoning of this has to be done by all players if we want everyone to remember or not. =/

Simple things like Zeke and Ryn's relationship that has been made canon due to me and Crazy talking is one thing, but remembering everyone else's characters is something all have to agree on.

And I could care less, I just think a change in scenery would be nice. And I have talked to Ris. Stuff like this I am sure he will still be okay with being made canon of knowing people's characters and what not.

So yeah there can be fist fights and shoot outs, but has there ever been any space battles or some sort. Because i'm actually more into space battles, of dog fkghts here.

From what i'm saying through it all is, will there be a room for space battlesdog fights?

doubt it...since most of this will be near a neutral area...(and as people are talking....a resort or a rural area)

Yeah... This is not meant to be a fighting place. We are saying -if- a fight is to occur, it will be a fist one. No shoot outs at all either. And thus, no galactic battles.

Kursed means for fights with guns and weapons and such. Simple fist ones will most likely happen in the complex.

Judging by the last few pages, you've summed it up nicely .  I'd assume a super complex can consist of whatever we'd want it to, from different shops to exquisite dining amenities :D
