FoxMcCloud
True, but we do have some Super, high powerful lasers, though they would be a pain to bring into space, then powering it, etc would be a hassle.

Ellipzocore
I have always been seeing connections between Starfox and Star Trek and Star Wars. I wonder...
Robert Monroe
technically....our sun will eventually expand (since one day it shall be a Red Giant) at some point life on Earth will not be possible because it is believed that Earth will fall into the same chaos as Venus with the greenhouse effect......and since the polar ice caps on Mars is the only source of water.....the sun will be close enough to start to melt those ice caps, letting the water flow, and sooner or later, start it to evaporate.....creating an atmosphere.....then eventually life will start....evolution....blah blah blah....and there is your "fourth" planet form the sun (that is....If Mercury does not get destroyed at that time lol)Im, no. A red giant sun would melt Mars' ice caps, but the radiation as a whole is too weak to promote life. Not to mention Mars has no magnetic field, and no atmosphere...
