"Well I am a Federal Agent, Much like the FBI back home. I used to be a Starfleet Captain back in my old days before I was sent here by an unknown force and genetically transformed by a virus." He stated.

"And yeah sure let's head into the building." he stated

"Virus huh? We had a viral probelm once. Destroyed one the most famous cities to do it though.", the Marine remarked, walking along side Mark, looking at what there was to see while doing so.

So beautiful....shame we couldn't thiink of ways to be like this...., Stacker thought to himself, frowning outwards.

Mark stopped. "What?! What city was destroyed?" He asked concerned. Thinking of his past and people he left behind.

"Wow things have really decayed. No wonder its taken so long for Starfleet to get back to me.["/i] he said to himself

"Uhm...the Big Apple. Nothing left alive...n one outside of the Military knows why. Typical cover story prepped. Of course if you tell anyone else, I'll have to kill you.", Pete replied, shortly before laughing at his "joke" of a death threat. This place sort of reminds me of New York...before it got to the bioling point."

Pete stopped a moment and starred at the park a few feet from their position. A picture of Central Park flashed through his mind. Only to be replace by what he could conjure up what it would look like by now.

Mark dropped to his knees. "New York City?......." He couldn't breathe for a second. "My......family....all of them were there....." He held behind some tears. He pulled out a wallet and showed a Human picture of him and his family. He looked at it and just stared.

The Marine didn't know what to say as he watched the Vulpine start to tear up befre him. He watched with a near straight face, but still fet bad for Mark.

He walked over to the agent and put a hand on his shoulder,"Its not that bad....who knows, mabye they made it in time. Mabye by soem fluke, they might have left before it started.", Stacker said, trying to sound kind and reassuring.

Mark shook his head and recomposed himself. "Sorry about that...." He paused. "Why did no one tell me, I have Top Security clearance.... I should have been notified." He stopped

Mark looked to Stacker and said "Thank you, I hope they made it out alive." He said looking down but soon looking up with a slight smile. "Would you like me to show you around Stacker?"

Stacker remembered the conflict as if it were yesterday. The innocents and others infected by the virus, what they became, the atrosities he commited, as well as what had followed at the end. He shook himself out of the memory an cleared his throat,

"Sure, I think that would be great.", the Marine replied, with a resuring smile, "Where to?"

Mark looked at the guy. "Welcome to the Cornerian Complex." He said with a tourist guide voice. " The Cornerian complex is a symbol of prosperity and peace between all of the lylatian races. Here you can find Anything, and I truly mean anything. You want it? This place has got it." He stated. "Let's head off to the Cafe or some food eatery here. Get some food in your stomach, a Marine like you must eat." He stated with a laugh. Hoping to ease the guy into relaxing as there were no dangers here.

"Almost sounds to good to be true, this place.", Pete remarked taking in the information and sites. Food sounded good...

"I'm up for it, after you."

Mark took Pete to the nearest restaurant. a older Raccoon lady soon came up to them both. "Agent McConnelly so nice to see you again, I see you have a visitor. What's your name Hun?" She stated sounding overjoyed. It was how she was. Mark chuckled. "now now Martha settle down. He is with me and his name is Pete." He stated with a slight smile.

"So what'll it be gentleman."

Mark nodded and smiled "You know me, I'll have the usual."

Martha soon looked to Pete "now What would you like?"

"Nice to meet you madame." the Marine smiled.

"I guess I'll have a coffee, and a sandwich, surprise me.", Pete answered, still a little deep in thought.

This place seems too perfect, a little too perfect...there has to be a hitch, but what?, he mused to himself.

"Oh not much...just on leave mostly, came to see what it was like here. So far, its very impressive....!", Stacker answered, after taking a sip of Coffee. He started to feel tired, and it was still a early in the day.

Mabye its just jet lag or something....space travel does that to you....

"So what's your job like? How are you handling yourself?", asking cautiously, as not to pry too much.

A slightly young White vixen enters the complex and takes a look around. " wow this place isn't half bad. better than where i lived at least." she looks down and hears her stomach growl then goes up to the map and searches for a food court.

"hmmmmm" she looks at the map carefully and spots a taco bell. she takes out her wallet but sees she has very little money left, only enough to buy one thing.

" awww man! im gunna have to get yet another horrible job.....why is it that every time i go out im almost broke?"

she walks in and orders one taco and sits at a table with her head down

Mark smiled at the Marine. "I am doing well. It took a while to get used to the new form. I still miss the days of being human, but the virus was irreversible." He noted.

He looked at the marine and noticed something was slightly wrong, it was just a vibe and gut feeling. Probably nothing but he was worried. "Pete you ok?" He asked.

Stacker nodded and began eating his sandwich, still wondering why he was tired. He even had the best sleep in a while on the transit ship.

Ah well, its probably nothing., he thought to himself, but outwardly rolled his eyes.

"In the Corps.?", he looked up at the ceiling recalling memories,"11 years or so. The Corps. is my life pretty much.", the Marine replied.

"How about you, how long have you been in yours?", Pete asked.

Looking at the many stores around her she waits anxiously for her taco. "why am I the last to know about places like this? It has everything but sadly I only have enough for one taco *sigh*" a woman soon brings out her order.

"thanks" she opens it up and starts to eat it. After her meal she wanders around the complex to take a look around.

"I wonder if any of the places here need someone for hire." she sees a help wanted sign on one of the cafe's in the complex. She strolls in and looks at the many faces in the complex.

"wow, so many people here. This place like heaven only we ain't dead" she walks up to the front counter and leans against it, then looks at the raccoon woman. she smiles at her.

"hey I hear ya need someone for hire."

"hey I hear ya need someone for hire."

In hearing this Page ran up to the counter "I'll take it from here", she said directed at her co worker. Now turning to the vixen, "We could get you started today if you like."

Mark chuckled a bit, been in the Air force for 5 and then transferred to Starfleet. I have been part of Starfleet for almost 40 years, and been a Agent with Corneria for about 10 years or so." Mark said with a slight smile. "I was about 50 when I took command of the Kestrel and then when the Virus struck, I was aged back to 15. Kinda fun reliving your teenage years again, but as a different species..... it took a bit getting used to." He noted
