(k, thx, tho I was looking for a clock time. I'll just make a guess.)

The mall was well-lit in the daytime sun. Kyle looked down to the clock in his gauntlet, only to realize it wasn't there.

"What time is it?" Kyle asked Anna.

Anna indicated the digital clock hanging from an overpass. "12:30 PM," she said. "Lunch." She cracked a smile only Ryukaissen Dragonarian women are capable of, and her smile made Kyle smile.

"C'mon," he said, "I'm hungry." He and Anna set off into the depths of the mall, searching for a good place to eat. Seeing Stacker barfing in a trash can, Kyle and Anna walked over to him.

"Are you okay?" Anna asked.

Mark quickly followed the Marine. "Hey your not looking so well, we need to get you to the infirmary." He noted wanting to help the marine

"I-I dunno-", thats when the man collapsed onto the floor, appearing to be knocked out.

A smell eminated from the trash-can, it smelled rotten, and bitter...

(Star_Dragon, time cycles pretty much randomly here. I think it's daytime right now.)

"Well, I don't know about you guys," Stephen said, glancing at Zack, Star, and the vixen, "but I'm going to try and catch some Z's before something else happens."

Stephen walked off, plodding back to his hotel room. Before he hit the bed he was asleep.

Pete felt himself being picked up. whatever was happening, he was just on the brink of still being concious. He couldn't see, and couldn't move; he felt like he was between being numb and within extaciy.

Ugh w-whats going on....why am i moving.....

Kyle and Anna walked up to the counter of a small Pizzeria. While they waited for someone to take their order, Kyle asked Anna,

"Babe, do you know anything interesting about this place?"

"I confess I know little more than you do," Anna admitted, "Though no harm ever came from visiting a mall."

"Yeah, right," Kyle scoffed, "No harm ever came from exploring old memories - remember what happened when you said that?"

Anna laughed. "Don't remind me," she said. "It took Raz forever to stop running from you."

Mark could hear the labored breathing. no no no, why is he getting affected by it already? It took me months to have that happen to me. He stated to himself as he ran into the nearest infirmary and looked to the doctors. "I am agent McConnelly this gentleman is suffering from a special condition. You may have me assist.

The doctor nodded and did not question him. He looked to McConnelly. "What does he have?"

"That is classified." He responded "Give me 20cc of Hydrostetazine."

Mark had a feeling that something bad was happening and if it was only a few in Corneria's top command knew what it was, and he could not let the general public know.

Toby poked at John gently, "Hey, you in there, John?"

John snapped back to reality and heard Toby. "Oh uh yeah." he chuckled

The Marine was still in the coma-like state, unable to interact with the world around him. Whatever was happening to him, there was nothing he could do to stop it. All that he could do was wait within the shroud that was the boundery between life, and death.

Oh my god..., he "thought", I feel like I'm being tortured and butchered to death...

He felt pricks, sharp pinches and all sorts of pain throughout his body, but could only let nature take its course, for he was helpless; better or worse....

Mark kept and eye on the condition. Pete was stabilized, but his condition would alternate every now and then. Mark had an idea of what was happening ,but it was different for everyone, and there is no telling how the virus would affect Pete. The only thing he could do is watch. He knew the process was painful, at least for him it was.

"yeah alright. well i'll see you later" she walked off to look around.

"man this place is excessively huge!" she places her earbuds in her ears and turns her music on loud. she soon fell down some stairs due to she wasnt paying attention. she layed on her back, unconscious from the fall.

Toby chuckled, "That is ok John..." he wrapped his arms around John's forehead, making sure the fox could still see where he is going, "So, where is this Mark you speak of?" he asked playfully again.

For what seemed to be an eternity, Pete began to regain consiousness. Although the slow process of regaining life, he faintly felt his body changing. It felt tingliy, and painful all at once. He wanted to move, but his body wouldn't respond to his cerebral commands. He also faintly heard sounds around him; a series of mechanical clciks and whires ad such.

W-where...am....I.....

Mark saw that Pete was moving normal breathing waiting to see some sign from him. Mark had the room closed off and the cornerian Government had it's doctors now staffed there watching. "I hope your doing alright, this is not going to be easy. I know your not going to be happy when you wake up fully" he thought to himself.

More changes were felt throughout the body. Pete slowly started to stir, as his heart rate went back to "Normal", and his breathing was a bit sparadic, but nothing to be worried about.

He regained control of his body, and senses, only they felt......different.....somehow...

THe Marine's eyes fluttered open slowly, only to notice doctors and others moving about, doing what doctors do.

"Ugh......oh god.....w-what hap-", it hurt to move as he tried to sit up. Now at nearly full alert, he looked about with his from his statioanry position, ut it seemed is eye-sight had changed, and he sniffed at the air, and hear all sorts of sounds; it all seemed difffernt....

whats going on here....?

Mark saw Pete get up and he soon darted up. "Hey no, lay down. You are not well, you still need time to recover." "God this has never happened before. This happened within hours. Normally the virus takes days and even weeks if not months to fully complete."

Stacker groaned; it felt like he had partied all night, but knew that wasn't the case.

"M-Mark.....is that you....?", the Marine managed out,"Where...am I?"

Pete tried his best to slow his breathing, and tried not to panic, but years of training had him be ready and alert fr any unknown situation, and it ddin't help when it wasn't combat related.

"Yes pete it is me." He paused "Look your in a hospital you collapsed in the complex, and I brought you here to the hospital in the complex. You are...... not well." He said with a low tone "Do you remember when the Starship the USS Kestrel returned from Corneria and back to Earth about 10 years ago?" he asked not knowing if Pete would remember that

Pete grunted clearing his throat a bit,"No...not really. Not a big fan of space travel. I tend to...sleep through it", the marine thought a moment,"Why, what happened then?", now a bit curious, his condition getting better.

He felt different, but didn't show any signs of knowing as of the moment....

Mark figured Pete would not know about it. The military kept it quite classified. "I was the captain of that Ship, but I never went home with my ship, also with my other crew. We got a strange virus, we decided to stay behind and see if there was ever a cure, but we have found nothing here on Corneria." He sad sadly, "You have been infected with....the virus, and. You have changed, Well. You are still you, but you just look different." He stated "Well you are no.... how can I say this.... Human per se." He noted waiting to hear the reaction from Pete.

Stacker processed this to the best of his ability within the bowels of his mind.

Virus....virus...now why does that sound familiar....

Thats when the flashbacks floded back. Flashes of New York, as well as the Anthro invasion scneario flooded back and forth,

"Infected? How can that be-", the Marine held up his left hand, only to find that it wasn't a hand per say. It was a paw-like hand with fur on it, blackish fur (yeah, hes going to be my fursona's species).

"What the hell......"

Mark sighed. "Yes, you are changing." Mark stated with a sad tone. "This happened to me and some of my crew." He continued. "We stayed behind and continued to exist here on Corneria." he added.

He continued to look at Pete now seeing him alot different then he was before.

Pete looked at both his arms now, noticing the black stopped, and that there was blue fur dominating his forearms.

Interesting...., he thought as he unknowingly smiled in wonder at the phenominon.

He switched his attention back to McClonelly,

"How many more of you are there, of the crew I mean?", he asked curiously,"And how wide-spread is this....virus?" (Stacker wasn't planet-side when it spread everywhere)

"There are a few of us. This virus was mainly a rare bug that affected some of my crew." He paused. "Now as far as we know it was contained and never spread back home. We were assured by our doctor that it was not going to spread, but we could have been wrong." he said with a empty tone.
