Anna nodded, studying Ultor. He was taller than her, bigger than her, and certainly more powerful. If she was to challenge him it wouldn't end well, she thought.

"But Little Mac." her thoughts continued, drawing a comparison between said character from Punchout and how he beats opponents with about the size ratio she had to Ultor. She sighed in conflict, the idea of messing with him seeming more and more like a good idea. John's voice broke her concentration.

"Oh, boredom, really. I had nothing to do for a while so I came here to spend some time. What about you guys?"

"Myself, I am on vacation, really just have been working for far too long." John stated

"Working in space for too long really tires you, and every once and awhile its nice to get back on to solid ground for once." John chuckled.

"Hmm... Well, I did some work as a lifeguard, well, before I moved out here that is. The pay was pretty nice, but took up a lot of my time." Flux started, then shrugged. "Well, they are nice clothes, it's more how you sell it though." He said with a smile.

"Ohh...I see how it is." replied the Klee Kai, a small smirk occupying her muzzle as she looked at the wolf from the corner of her eye.  "So this whole time you're just playing me--Is that how it is?"

Of course, Kaida was sure he was still a nice guy.  She was just messing with him.

"I came for two reasons: 1 I wanted to get out of the base. 2 I had to give a friend something. That friend left the building and I had no reason to be here, then I ran into my old girlfriend here and now I have a reason to stay." Ultor said to both of them, in case John didn't already know.

"Ohh...I see how it is." replied the Klee Kai, a small smirk occupying her muzzle as she looked at the wolf from the corner of her eye.  "So this whole time you're just playing me--Is that how it is?"

Of course, Kaida was sure he was still a nice guy.  She was just messing with him.

Flux chuckled as he smiled, his glimmering green eyes looking to her from the corners as well. "Playing you?" He started in a joking manner. "Do you really want to see me trying to play you?" He asked with a chuckle, enjoying the simple joking around, as he never got too much of this in general.

Playfully rolling her eyes, Kaida lightly bobbled her head from side to side.  "Psh, I'm sure I'll see it in due time."

Was that an implication that they would hang out more often than just this one time?  Perhaps.  Perhaps indeed.

"In the meantime, I'll just get used to the real you.  How does that sound?"

The 'yeness nodded to their responses, and began wondering about Ultor's girlfriend. Was she as big as him and the same species? Could she even fathom what that'd look like?

"So you're looking for her?" she inquired, curious. "What, did she go missing, did you have a fight?"

Playfully rolling her eyes, Kaida lightly bobbled her head from side to side.  "Psh, I'm sure I'll see it in due time."

Was that an implication that they would hang out more often than just this one time?  Perhaps.  Perhaps indeed.

Flux too rolled his eyes. "Oh really? What's that supposed to mean?" He asked with a small playful grin.

To her next comment, however, he was silent for a moment. "...Yeah. Sure thing." He started a bit wearily, but then fixed it with a happy toned ending.

"I have already seen her, but as for your other question, it is different from your assumptions, you see during the aparoid invasions, me and my squad and a few others were stationed on Katina to defend it from the enemy attacks. I sustained a injury fighting one of my infected squad members, and I met her the next few days. We went on a few dates and before long we established a connection. But before long I had to report to back to my planet, I did what I could to try to stay even broke a soldiers leg, but they overpowered me and I was forced to return. Years later she surprised me with a visit to this place." Ultor answered.

Flux cursed himself in his mind. He knew he had let his guard slip for a moment, and it bit him. But he had to go with it.

Now she was rather confused.  Blinking, Kaida gave her head a little shake, again turning her sights ahead of her.  "Nothing, my mistake...Just a little paranoid, I guess..." she mumbled, feeling like she was caught in an awkward situation, made even more awkward by the fact that she had more or less created it.  The Klee Kai wasn't even sure if Flux was lying or not.  Either way, if he didn't want to talk about it she wasn't going to press.  It would be rude, especially considering they just met.  "Anyway," she began, attempting to change the subject, "would I ever catch you wearing an outfit like mine or is that just not you?"

"Well it's good to keep up with training, and once you lose her, she's not easy to find." Ultor said with a slight chuckle.

"Alright..." she trailed, falling to silence. Not that she was out of things to say, but because she had trouble envisioning how his girlfriend, if she was anything like him, could possibly get "lost."

"Speaking of which, have you seen Jade at all Ultor?" John asked "She wasn't in the room last night, so i assumed she has been here for a while, considering that is what left on the note for me."

Jade was browsing the super complex. Wow they have so much stuff here, I really have to find the right gift for John She thought to herself. She grabbed the locket and said "This is the best thing he has ever done for me." a tear grew in her eye "It was a happy tear rather then a sad one.

Now she was rather confused.  Blinking, Kaida gave her head a little shake, again turning her sights ahead of her.  "Nothing, my mistake...Just a little paranoid, I guess..." she mumbled, feeling like she was caught in an awkward situation, made even more awkward by the fact that she had more or less created it.  The Klee Kai wasn't even sure if Flux was lying or not.  Either way, if he didn't want to talk about it she wasn't going to press.  It would be rude, especially considering they just met.  "Anyway," she began, attempting to change the subject, "would I ever catch you wearing an outfit like mine or is that just not you?"

"Hm this looks important, maybe it leads to some big score, unlike the odd gem here and there." Krissy thought to herself as she looked at an old map. After buying it she ran into Jade who was looking for something (or at least it seemed like that to her.) "Oh hey jade, what are you up to?" She asked as she saw her.

"Hmm..."  He sounded convincing, but now she wasn't sure whether or not he was lying.  Maybe he was a chronic liar.  Maybe it was just his thing.  Who knew?  "Promise me I'll get to see it sometime?"

He looked at her as they closed in on the clothing store. "Okay, only if you promise me to get some of those cargo pants. Then we have a deal." He said with a playful wink.

"So do you usually dress in that attire? Looks good on you." He stated with a normal sincere smile, seeing as she also complimented his looks earlier too.
