There was a pause, than a statement of fact. "Little girl, i do think it is time for you to leave." There was no emotion on Balsa's face, there was no rage nor anythign at all. Nearby, a glass of water began to boil, then evaporate. "Get out" Balsa Spat, Holding Gracia close as She sat down. From the door way, a chuckle then a hearty cry came from a black garbed man. "Balsa, what happened?" In Came Egor Qwasi Von Blargilmark, dressed in his usual black robe, his back pack shoved with more and more material. "papa!" Gracia said, detaching herself from Balsa's arms and running to her father. She came up to his stomach, clutching his leg and still crying. He picked her up and held her close whispering sweet nothigns into her ears. "Star" Balsa yelled, her rage beginning to boil over. "Control your daughter!" Gracia sputtered out "She yelled and her lips didnt move... and my head hurt and i fell" She wiped her eyes. Balsa turned back to star "a psykick attack... your daughter VIOLATED Gracias MIND" Snarling out the rest of the sentance. SHe was stopped by Egor, who placed a hand on her shoulder. "Ma'm I apologize for My friend here's conduct, your daughter left through the doors a few seconds ago." Egor set Gracia on the floor and she quickly latched onto her mothers leg. Egor whispered "the little lass here is a Hybrid, and is incredably sensative about it" Retunring to normal volume, he said. "i shall help you find her ma'm if we hurry we can catch her quick." We need to find her, immediatly, before my brother damien gets to her first" star said. She looked at balsa "you do not know what you have done! My murderous brother is here, and if he finds her, she could well be dead by the time we get to her! You have endangered her life! I know you didnt know, but she is MISSING! and we could find her DEAD BODY!" star said, tearing up as she yelled. ***** angel walked around, wiping tears as she did so. "i didnt even mean to make her cry.....im so stu-" angel was inturrupted by a sharp pain entering her left shoulder. She put her right hand on where the pain came from and pulled it back, seeing the red blood stained on her palm. She heard a familiar laugh from close behind and became frightened. She didnt know what to do besides run, so she did. She ran as fast as she could, running back to the cafe and ran through the door, right into her mother. Star looked at angel, seeing her frightened. "angel, are you alright?!" star asked. Angel looked around, just in case damien had followed. Egor crouched, a long rifle drawn from the confines of his coat, his field of fire coverign the door. Balsa had Drawn here Spear and stood next to him her eyes primed and her muscles tightened. "Protect Gracia" Balsa said outloud to Egor as she stepped forward. "COME AND FIGHT FOOL!" She yelled, her voice booming throughout the area. "YOU CAN HURT A CHILD, BUT CAN YOU HURT ME?" Star looked at damien, exchanging a murderous look. " you went to far this time! You about killed my daughter you bast*rd!" she yelled! Damien laughed " oh sweet sister, i have done so much worse" he said, chuckling evily. Star seethed with anger as he held his gun tight. Angel tried to stop the bleeding, but it got worse as she tried. She looked at gracia "im....sorry..." angel said weakly, crying as pain stormed through her body. "i didnt know......i never should have done that....im sorry for making you cry" She added as she got up. Damien looked at gracia with an evil smirk. With a blink of an eye, he shot at gracia. Angel ran over and grabbed Gracia and pulled her out of the way, the bullet missing gracia and angel and hitting the floor. Angel looked at gracia and looked at damien furiously. She felt the blood running down her back as she layed next to gracia. "gracia......hide. Damien is......very.....dangerous. I cant....help very much.....you gotta.....hide." angel said. She struggled to stay conscious, looking at balsa and star as they argued with damien. Balsa , being the CQC expert, knelt down and Shielded both girls with her body, whilst Egor aimed and fired, the rounds going wild. There was a scream. And then there was silence. Gracia Stood, more like floated, as she emitted a sound that transcended mortal comprehention. Egor's Gun, Damien's gun, the surrounding glass, even the floor near Gracia melted. She stopped screaming, her eyes Blood red. "θνησιμÏŒτητα τρελÏŒς you θα περίοδοs." She spoke in a strange tounge, gazing very harmfully at Damien. Egor knelt down and began applying pressure to the wound, speaking very calmly to the unconcious angel. Now going to Angle Zack knelt beside her checking her vitals,"She is still alive",Zack said as he pulled out a stem cell shot,"Luckily I still have more of these, she will come to in a minute,"Zack added as he gave her the shot and soon the wound started to heal at a alarming rate and soon it was completely gone. Star walked over to Angel, kneeling down next to her unconscious body. She looked at balsa, her eyes inching over every second to see if damien would be awake, then looked back at balsa " I am sorry about Damien......he has hunted me for years, trying to kill me for reasons unknown" she said, then turned to gracia " Gracia, my daughter is very fond of you ya know. She really doesnt warm up to a person as she did with you. She is a very ummm.....different child, and really doesnt have very many friends because of her phsychic abilities. To her, you are the first un-dead friend she could really have. And what i mean by un-dead is, first living friend she has had. Angel, strangely enough, can see the spirits of the dead, sometimes talk to them. But anyway, point is, she really likes you as a friend Gracia" star said, looking at angel's unconscious body. Angel soon opened her eyes slowley and sat up. She rubbed the back of her head and looked around "well......that went well......although seeing him unconscious and bleeding tells me you guys had a party without me, what a shame" angel said jokingly. Angel looked at gracia and smiled "glad your alright, though you look pissed.....just like everyone else in this room. And your eyes are like star's when she is extremely pissed....they change colors" angel said "only badass people i know who are women" angel said, adressing balsa and gracia " HEEEEY!!" star said jokingly. Gracia huddled under a table, her eyes back to her normal hue. "get away!" She half shouted, half whispered, her legs drawn into her chest. "Im a monster! A freak! A HYBRID!" SHe broke into sobs once more, missing Star's comment as well as Angels. The table above her Ignited, the drinks on top of it Freezing Solid. "When i talk, things happen!" The floor froze over, becomign Ice. "My real Mommy and daddy Abandoned me! I fended for myself!" she closed her eyes and rocked back and forth. "Ive lived in alleyways and under nthing to get out of the rain! And..." She sobbed harder as she bursted out. "and its all my fault! if i wasnt a freak my mommy wouldnt have left me to DIE!" Her eyes shifted back to the Red hue, before she shook it off. "I dont want to be a badass! I dont want to be violent! All i want is to be happy!" Then i lived with damiens mother and father, which his mother was murdered, and damien abused me til i was about 9, when i ran away from home, never staying in the same place for more than a couple days. You shouldnt blame yourself gracia, you didnt cause it. You have these abilities for a reason, and you can train yourself to control them. You are not a freak, you have a mom and dad that love you, and you are very special. You are a gorgeous, smart, beautiful child. I use my abilities for self defence, and it works better than not having them. Angel has more than i do, and she also uses them for self defence. That and being nosey...." star said looking at angel. "This isnt a worse childhood contest, This is a Calm down my daughter right the F*ck down now contest." She pushed Past Star and knelt down at the edge of the burning table. "And im the only contestant." Egor motioned for Star and began to explain. "Balsa foun'd the little lass thar in a government facility a few years ago. Her powers? They gave em to 'er in a painfull an invaysive surgery." He holistered the gun inside his coat. "There is no control. Any time she talks, soethign ignites or something freezes." Egor motioned to the burning table, still smoldering unabbated. "She holds a copius amount of self hate, especially for her powers and her "furry little problem". i would apreciate if you were to stop calling attention to both her Hybridism and her powers" Egor finished, his eyes burning with parental anger. ////////////////////////////////// "Hey sweetie" Balsa said, kneeling under the table to look at Gracia, still shivering in the corner. "please go away, momma" She said, her eyes Darting around. Balsa Shook her head. "Im not going to, honey." "I dont want to hurt you" She whispered, the Temperature around her dropping. "You know your powers cant hurt me" She smiled and said, crawling under the table to sit next to her daughter. Gracia wrapped her arms around Balsa, leaning against her side and yawned, tears brewing in her eyes. "You tell me when your ready and ill help you out okay?" Angel looked around, now a little uncomfortable "well.....that went well" angel said, applying her palm to her face, watching her mother walk out. "uuuuum i dont want to make matters worse....as my mothers actions did. And i see gracia really isnt in the mood right now.....so i guess i wont bother you." she said, getting up and walking after her mother. When she caught up with star, she grabbed her arm " you made it worse! You are REALLY dramatic when it comes to moments like these!" angel said " well i didnt know what to say!" star complained " something COMFORTING you idiot! You seriously embarass yourself ya know!" angel said back, irritated. Star became angry " AND VIOLATING SOMEONES MIND IS SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN WHAT I DID!" star yelled. Angel looked at star as she tried to calm down, breathing deeply. Angel shook her head and walked back to the food court " no sense in leaving....ugh i swear she has issues" angel said, ordering some food. After she got it, she looked at gracia "you hungry?
