"Becuase Spirit Seers are rare, my young charge." Morton Said, his face becoming more and more bony as he talked. "Most seers go crazy before the mature enough to be usefull in society." His face is gone, only the skull of the grim reaper remaining. "Plus the only way you could see me is if you were a seer."

" I told you before. I am the Deus Encarmine. I am death." He bowed, his hat being removed by his skeletal fingers. "I heard through the grape vine that oyu were a Spirit seer, and i thought i would extend my greetings."

THe Grim reaper pointed to the store she had just left. "I reaped a soul in there, when i saw Balsa and spoke to her breifly of the spirit attacking her. SHe mentioned you were a seer."

"Not everyone can see spirit's child, which is why i am here right now." Death stood up from his relaxed position and donned the steriotypical look of the reaper, floating in the middle of the air. noone even batted an eyebrow.

"Only if i directly influence or attempt to influence can i be seen" said, floating lazily next Angel once more.

"Balsa can see me because she regularly has contacted me for favors and work. SHe also was attacked by the spirit you saw earlier, providing her with the visability."

"ooooh.....i get it. So you know her pretty well then." angel confirmed, looking at people as they looked at her like she was crazy. She shook her head and turned back to death.

"ugh i said people think im mentally ill!" she said, visibly frustrated

"So?" Death said, slowly turning in place as he viewed the masses walking around. "Odds are most of these people will never see you again. Damn theri opinion."

"My sentiments exatcly" Balsa said, waltzing slowly by to a tune in her head.

"Ah, you grace us with your presence, Armagistra." Death said sarcastically facing his old nemisis/benefactor/friend

Kay sat down at a nearby table, his stomach grumbling. Acting, he got up, ordered a pizza, paid for it, and sat down to eat.

"Commander Tossan to General Indari," Tossan's voice came over the communicator. Kay grumbled.

"Indari here," Kay responded, "What's new?" He took a bite out of his pizza as Tossan spoke again.

"We're... tracking something headed your way."

Kay frowned. "Something? Not someone?" Kay asked.

"Affirmative, sir," Tossan affirmed. "We... don't know what it is."

"Is it armed?" Kay asked.

"We don't know," Tossan answered. "Be alert."

"Affirmative," Kay stated. "I'll contact you when I figure out what it is. Radio silence until then. Indari out."

The Comm switched off, and Kay continued eating.

Angel saw kay and smiled. She walked over to where he was and stood next to him

"hi...." she said, having a bit of confusion in her tone. Soon enough Star entered the food area

"im still mad at you" angel said, looking at star

"mad at ME?! what the HELL did i do?!" star yelled, becoming angry. Angel only shook her head

" you overreacted!" she answered

"OVERREACTED?!" star yelled, breathing angrily. Angel sighed and took a seat at another table as star sat across from Kay, her head being proped up by her arm

"oh i do love me a good mortal spat" Death said, flaoting upside down, his face level with The other twos. Adopting a faux Accent, Death giggeld as best as his echoingly deep voice would allow. "Keep going Dahling. i wanna hear this"

"Your kidding right?" angel said telepathically to death. She gave him an angry look and sat lazily in her chair.

"i dont see why this is funny to you.....though being the grim reaper, mostly anything REMOTLY close to this is funny. Now watching other people fall down the stairs or something is hilarious i have to admit" angel added telepathically

*****

"a little....but i dont want to take your meal, you are hungrier than i" star said.

Kay sighed. "Star, you need to eat something. Besides, this is a large pizza, and the last time I tried to stomach one of these in a night... well, you don't wanna know. I got this for the both of us."

Sensing Star's anger, Kay gently turned Star's head to face him and added, "Hey, if you need someone to talk to, I'm right here."

"Well, I'm not an expert on such things, but I will say... give her some time. The past week or so has been a bit hard on all of us," Kay explained. "I mean, first it was me and my hunting... then I saved your life... then Damien came along... the Borg... the Dark Jedi... and Damien's final fight... we all just need some time to relax. Unwind and calm down. We've been through a lot." Kay moved over closer to Star and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "You know I love you, and I care about you... we just need to unwind from all this..."

Kay stopped midsentence as his perceptions detected something...

click-clack, click-clack

Someone was coming. Not hostile, but someone Kay knew.

click-clack, click-clack

Kay chuckled. "Aaah, Voro 'Vadamee," Kay greeted the shimmering apparition nearby. "I knew you were still lurking in my shadows."

A throaty chuckle sounded from the ghostly shimmer. "I see you have a... friend." Voro chuckled. A golden-armored Sangheili (http://images.wikia.com/halofanon/images/4/4a/Zealot_H2.PNG) appeared from thin air.

"She's more than a friend," Kay responded. "I trust you have a reason for coming here under cloak?"

"I wished to avoid... security scrutiny," the Sangheili responded. "Besides, do I need a reason to visit an old friend?"

Kay chuckled. "One never needs a reason to visit an old friend," He stated.
