He stopped and held hsi hands out, totally at ease, except for his nervous eye twitching. A total opposite in opinion, Jay's Plasma Torch swung around of its own voalition cominf as close to Voro's head as his gun was to Jay's "I am not blind to your comings and Goings, Elite. "You have your guns pointed at me, i have no guns to put away. If you put your arms away first, i can convince Jay to put his down." Jay's head swiviled and looked Voro in the eye, the mechanical servo's in his body grinding as his head turned 180 degrees. "YOu tell your buddy to put his away, and perhaps the earth wont have our souls today." Balsa slid as she was tackled, but stood confusedly as Star just walked away. SHe stared hard than shrugged, absent mindedly stepping over Zack, complimenting his tackle along the way.. Voro lowered his weapon, circling around to Kay's side. Kay finally lowered his MP340A2, powering down the disruptor. "There," Kay growled. "I lowered my guns. Now piss off." With a PEW, the collected energy that had been gathering in his Plasma torch was expelled into a wall harmlessly, the torch then clicked away into his BRight Red Robe. "Wanker!" Jay called after at Kay, turning on his heel and walking back towards Balsa. "why do you have to fight all the time, momma" Gracia asked from under a table, her mother kneelign to gte her to come out again. She didn't know what to do besides sit down and grasp her head in confusion. THIS FIGHT AINT OVER!" star said, cracking her neck. Star then thought about the decision she had to make. She thought long and hard, then looked at Kay who was walking away. "sweetie..............i aint leaving you.......i cant even think of choosing another man" she said telepathically to Kay. she then looked at Zack "Zack............im sorry.......but i cannot.........my heart is with kay. i am sure there is another girl out there whom you will fall madly in love with" star said telepathically to Zack in a soft voice. Kay screamed telepathically. STAR, GET DOWN!!! It was too late. The unseen assailant was ready to fire. No time to think, only to act. Time slowed down exponentially, and before Draco could stop his son, Kay ran, faster than he normally could, right into... ... KA-BLAM! The bullet flew straight and true, hit Kay in the back, and he screamed as neon-green blood sprayed across the floor. Kay collapsed on the floor, unmoving as a second shot rang out. He reached into his pocket, retrieving the ring he had intended to propose to Star with. He placed it in Star's hand, closing her hand with his own hand trembling. "Take it," he said. "Re... *cough* ... Remember me as I... was..." It was Kay's last gift to Star before the darkness closed around him. He had no regrets, and his ghost would rest easy. But Kay's death wasn't meant to be. Not again. Draco had seen this. He couldn't act before because he was already dead. But this time, he could. He could make the difference. "Star," Draco said softly, "Step away." He placed a hand over Kay's lifeless body, chanting something in Dragonarian. Over and over he said it, until a bright white light emanated from Kay's body. Draco continued to chant, and as the white light ceased, Draco withdrew his hand. For a full agonizing thirty seconds, there was silence, until Draco whispered in Kay's ear, "Awaken, Kyle Indari - you shall live once more." "Let's get him out of here," Voro said. He hefted an arm over his shoulders and looked to Star. He noticed the ring in her hands, then said, "You're a very lucky woman, Star." He said nothing further, knowing Star would know what he implied. He lifted Kay to his feet, but he couldn't move. "Come on, we'll work out the details later. Let's get Kyle to a bed." As Voro dragged Kay off, Draco walked over next to Star. "You surprise me, Star," he said. He motioned her to follow him. He lapsed into sleep, the exhaustion from this brush with death leaving him tired. Voro smiled. "Whatever Draco did, Kay will be fine because of it," Voro said. He had walked around for a little bit before seeing Balsa, Gracia, Jay, and Egor. Seeing these familiar faces, he naturally decided to go over and say hi to his crewmates. Upon approaching, he saw a few others whom he didn't recognize. Turning to Balsa, the merc gave a light half smile "Hey Balsa" He said with a nod to the rest of the crew.
