Kaida quickly nodded before the wolf could change his mind about it.  "Deal." she said, suddenly hoping she had enough with her.

'It's just one meal.  You have enough.' she reassured herself, focusing again to just enjoy the night with Flux.  Although she was hesitant to spend her money seeing as she still had to pay for her schooling, the Klee Kai wasn't about to let Flux be super generous.  It meant a lot that he would do it for her, but she didn't want to make him.

Busying her mind with searching for the appropriate genre of film, Kaida lightly nudged the wolf with her tail, looking towards a sign above one of the doors, indicating what it was playing.  "How about that one?"

Flux smiled and chuckled, rolling his eyes playfully. He was happy she was so excited, but needed to make sure she didn't help too much. He did want to keep the some sense of pride he had left.

He was the slightest shocked at the tail nudge, and smiled as he looked to her, then to the door. Flux then nodded, leading the two that way. "Sure! Should be fine." He said happily, leading to the door, and letting her in first.

The movie hadn't yet started, and there were still plenty of available seats.  However, Kaida already had her mind set on which she wanted.  Letting go of the wolf to better lead him along, the young Alaskan started up the stairs towards the back-right corner, pretty much as far from the entrance as was possible.  It wasn't even a full aisle, only having two seats, the row in front of it and the next four, and then the full rows would start off.

Kaida sat down nearest the wall, gesturing for Flux to take the only seat beside her.

Flux smiled, his tail happily wagging, and eyes glimmering still, even in the darkness as he went up and sat in the seat next to her. Flux proceeded to lean back, and place his arm around her as he yawned the slightest. "Looks like we are all alone up here!" He said softly and happily. His tail would sometimes accidentally wag into Kaida, but Flux couldn't help it. He was happy.

Shifting for a few seconds to lift the armrest, Kaida scooted closer to the wolf, happily leaning against him.

Were things scary yet?  No.  But now she was prepared.

"I guess we are pretty alone...Now people won't see me jump." she quietly, though playfully, replied.

Flux scooted a little closer to, allowing her to lean on him. He liked this feeling in general. It made him feel important and happy. He was in no way declining this.

He chuckled at the comment. "Well, I'm here. Nothing can't be that scary." He replied softly, and also, playfully, allowing himself to slightly lean on her. He rubbed her side as he did subconsciously.

Eventually, after more people had taken their seats and more time had passed, the lights dimmed and the movie began.  Nestling almost by accident against Flux, Kaida was already waiting a little tensely for something that would make her jump, despite the fact that the horror usually didn't happen right off the bat.

Flux's tail became a little more active as he tried controlling it a bit more although it was hard to. He rested his head up, his left arm around the Klee Kai, and a smile on his face. He noticed her getting ready for something, and or anything, so he brought his right arm over, and took one of her hands in his, so she had another thing to hold onto. "There you go." He said very softly to her happily. He spent some time just unfocused on the movie, his attention occupied a bit more by Kaida. This way, he was happy, and he was more ready to comfort her as the movie progressed.

Kaida was already grateful for his comfort, gently rubbing his hand back and forth with her thumb, her eyes remaining on the movie screen.  They were reaching the first startling point in the movie.  They had to be.  She was sure of it.

Just then, the music began to grow more intense.  It was obvious they were building up to something horrifying.  Her body tensing a little more, her ears perked to the point of quivering slightly, she waited.

But the moment passed.  Letting out a quiet sigh, the Klee Kai relaxed.  The music died down, and what she had thought was going to happen didn't happen.

Then, suddenly, something else happened.

Kaida's ears shot up again, a quiet whine escaping her as she started, gently squeezing Flux's hand for comfort.

He rested his head on her's, trying to calm her down the slightest bit more, as it was impolite to talk during a movie. He now had his attention on her, liking the company more than the idea of watching the movie. He had a smile as the movie went by.

The movie continued on much the same way, the Klee Kai anticipating what would happen all the way through.  Sometimes she was right, sometimes she was wrong, but either way she jumped nearly every time a sharp note was suddenly played or something jumped out.  When the movie ended and the credits began to roll, she let out another quiet sigh, a deep blush covering her face as she slowly sat back upright.  Her eyes went to Flux's for a moment, though embarrassment in the end won out and she looked away again, lightly biting her lip.

'Geez...He's gonna think you're such a scaredy-cat...'

Even through her embarrassment, she wasn't about to reject a hug.  Wrapping her arms around the wolf, gently resting her muzzle on his shoulder, Kaida mumbled in reply, "I swear, Flux, you didn't jump once during that whole movie..."

She does make a point... Maybe I should have paid more attention... He thought at first. Flux rubbed her. "Is that all? Just because I didn't, and you did?" He asked, comforting her as they continued.

"Well...Yeah..." she mumbled, a little confused by his question as the embrace continued on.  "You don't think any less of me now?  I-I mean, sure, I jumped, but it was mostly just out of surprise, not actually fear..."

And that was partially true.  The surprise, in many cases, was further fueled by a sense of fear, but still.

Flux smiled, and lightly chuckled as he comforted her some more. "Of course not! Why would I let such a silly thing make me think less of you." He started, then felt maybe admitting something would make her feel better. "To be honest, I wasn't paying attention to the whole movie. I was more focused on making sure you would be okay." He explained, smiling at her.

At that, a warmth started in the Klee Kai's chest and spread throughout her body as she gently pulled away from the hug, gazing fondly into Flux's eyes.  "Really?"

Flux would pay for a movie that he wasn't even going to watch just to see it with her and make sure she was okay?  It was a little hard for her to believe right away, but if it was the truth then she was more than flattered.

Flux looked into her eyes too. "Of course. Plus, it is all really about the time together and socializing, right? Who cares if I only saw approximately half of it." He started. "As long ass you enjoyed it, right? If you enjoyed it, then I sure will have. And in that sense, it was well worth the movie." He said with a warm and sincere smile.

Kaida's bright green eyes only grew warmer, her blush slowly beginning to fade.

'He's -definitely- a BFF...'

"You're right..." she softly replied, getting to her feet and turning to wait for Flux to do the same.  "But we'd better go before they think we're trying to sneak into another movie...Besides, I'm getting a little hungry."

Flux nodded, standing up and putting his arm around her, leading them down the stairs, and out of the movie screening room. "Mhmm. Same here. Let's go get dinner." He said happily, heading in a random direction in the complex, knowing a good place to eat would find them no matter what direction they went.

Feeling a little rushed, something about too much detail or posts or other, for all intents and purposes Kaida's eyes soon came across a reasonable looking place.

After all, in a complex as big as this one, there was a good place to eat no matter which direction they went.

"Flux, how about this place?" she asked, stopping with the wolf in front of it.

Flux, still the smile upon his face, nodded as he looked at it. "Yeah, this seems great." He said happily, leading the two inward.

They walked in, and went to a table. Flux released his arm, and went over to a chair, and pulled it out for Kaida, a smile on his face, implying that this was her seat.

Flux smiled too, going around to take a seat on his end. "Hmmm.... I am not sure, but this place seems really nice and high end. Probably nicer food like fillets, seafood of some sort... Definitely not the greasy foods and such." He analyzed, taking a scope of the overall area. "We should know soon enough when the waiter comes."

From how Flux described it, Kaida noticed not only how observant the wolf was but also how much more money it could cost than the usual fast food places.  Again, she was sure she could afford a meal with what she had on her, but she didn't want to spend too much.  School was important, because it was, in a way, future cash.  "Okay...Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see."

Flux noticed the change in her voice tone, and his left ear slanted to the side along with a confused expression on his face. "Something wrong?" He pointed out, noticing a waiter around, he decided to make sure everything was okay before calling a waiter over.
