Zack just sat there crying to himself, 'how did this happen I've gained and lost two friends...maybe I should've stayed on Suria I'm not ready for this', Zack thought to himself.

Kay and Jason dashed through the complex, and stopped amidst a crowd. "Where is she?" Kay whispered.

"She?" Jason asked. "Star ain't gonna like that."

"She has her own concerns, now," Kay stated, still looking around. He stopped, then cursed, "Dammit, we won't be able to see her from here."

"Then let's move up to a higher level," Jason suggested. The two Jedi leapt up onto a walkway on the second floor, where they looked out amongst the crowd. "I still don't see who we're looking for," Jason murmured.

"Someone who stands out from the rest," Kay replied. "Someone who doesn't exactly blend in."

"Like someone in a gray cloak?" Jason asked.

"It's a good start, yes," Kay affirmed.

"Then I think I see her - northern edge of the crowd, headed toward the coffee shop," Jason said. Kay looked and saw her. Something about her felt... familiar. If he didn't know better, he'd swear he'd seen this person before. "Should we move to intercept?" Jason asked.

Kay shook his head. "No," he answered. "Not yet. I have to know if she is who I think she is."

"Then we're gonna need a better vantage point than this," Jason remarked. The two jedi headed off for parts unknown...

* * * (And here's where *she* comes in...)

The gray-cloaked Jedi meandered into the coffee shop, seemingly unaware she was being watched. After a long time searching, she was ready to call it a day. So far, Kyle Indari had eluded her grasp, but he would not stay that way. She knew him. How he thought, how he moved. Anything and everything a woman could possibly know about him.

She slapped down a few credits on the counter and requested, "Two Mocha Cappuccinos, please."

"Expecting someone?" the waiter asked.

"Not really 'expecting' him, but it'll be nice to have something for him if he decides to drop by." Keesha responded, taking off her hood.

As he followed, Kage couldn't help but wonder what that was about. "Odd people" He quietly remarked to her, keeping pace

"Zack, I need your help," Kay told Zack telepathically. "Head to the coffee shop on the opposite side of the mall, and look for a woman in a gray cloak. Ask her what her name is and how she got here, but try not to be too obvious about it."

Cleste walked around, looking for Star. She soon looked over and saw Kay looking at a woman in a gray cloak.

"IMPETUS!" she said telepathically, before walking down the stairs and to join with Star and Angel

Kay brushed off Celeste's comment, keeping an eye on the woman in the grey cloak. If she was aware she was being watched, she showed no signs of it as she sipped on her Mocha Cappuccino. He was sure he had seen her before... but from where?

Zack, can you hear me? He asked, blocking all but himself, Jason and Zack from the telepathic conversation.

Star went to her hotel room and packed up her things, but left Kay's things alone. She soon enough took the keys to the room and her and Angel rented a new one, far away from Kyle's room, as to signal that she would no longer interfere with him or anything he did, so long as it didn't include her or her family. After taking her things to her new hotel room, she spotted Kay and walked up to him, holing out the room key to him

"This belongs to you, Kyle." she said. She then looked at him and set the key in his hand and walked off. Celeste smiled and looked at Star

"hey, cheer up Chika. I'll buy you some coffee or somthin" Celeste said, leading Star into the coffee shop and sitting down at a table two seats away from the hooded female. Star sat down across from Celeste as Celeste got up and went to order. Star looked down at the floor as tears trailed down her cheeks.

Kay stuffed the key in his pocket, then watched the cloaked woman in grey. Come on, Zack - tell me you're still here, he thought.

"Hy star." Hud greets, cautiously helping Trebia heft what looks to be a fish tank filled with alcohol. "Mind Hud sit here?"

The mercenary, who hopefully was assumed to have been following Star around, shrugged, "No thanks, I'm good" he said, nodding as he looked around.

Keesha simply sipped her Mocha Cappuccino, looking as natural as can be for a Cerinian Jedi in a complex like this. She paid the newcomers little heed, her mind wandering from one place to the next. She felt a disturbance in the Force; a presence that, if pressured, if pushed the wrong way, could become a threat. But she played the innocent-minded, cappuccino-drinking woman that had no knowledge of what was going on. For now, she told herself. For now.

Celeste smiled

"alright then" she said, sitting across from Star, who sipped her coffee. Star looked at the floor

"you know......I really do wonder something. if Kyle was the Last Cerinian, then what about Zack's mom? SHE is a Cerinian and still fairly alive. but whatever............god damn it Indari." she said, soon looking up at Trebia

"thanks for the consent of my daughter, i owe ya one" she said with a smile

The mercenary took a seat next to Star, deciding he stood for long enough, and he decided he'd be part of the conversation... Once one came up.

The mention of the name "Indari" didn't go unnoticed by Keesha. Could this person be referencing Ky..

No, Keesha thought. She buried the thought deep in her mind, keeping her mental barriers in place for curious telepaths. She sipped on her cappuccino as though she didn't hear the name at all.

"Speaking of Indari, I walked by' im today and he moved on to some chick around here. I caught' im starin' at another girl around the complex in some robe-type thing. Pssh I wouldn't worry 'bout' im anymore if I were you, Chicka. He is such-" Celeste said, who was cut off by Star, who gave her a dirty look, as if to say "shut up", so Celeste did so. Star looked at Trebia

"so, how was your day?" she asked

Now Keesha was surprised. She rounded on the one who just spoke, asking, "What... what did you just say?"

Celeste looked at Keesha

"should'a listened the first time Chicka. i don't do repeats" she said. Star looked at Celeste and then looked at Keesha

"We would rather not talk about it again. Something she shouldn't have brought up again" she said, hitting Celeste on the back of her head. Celeste rubbed the back of her head in pain

"YOU COULD HAVE SAID SHUT UP YA KNOW!" Celeste whined.

"and my facial expression didn't give ENOUGH info for you?!" Star said in anger. Celeste soon was silent and went back to drinking her coffee

Keesha's heart almost stopped cold. Kyle was here, in the complex! Fortunate... but strange. If he was watching her, if he knew she was here, why did he not show himself? Keesha looked up toward the upper level in time to see two cloaked figures dash off. Keesha looked to Celeste. "Thanks for the tip," she said, grabbing her cups of cappuccino. "Gotta go." Instead of running off, she walked out of the coffee shop, following Kyle's unique presence in the force.

Keesha wandered through the mall, a cup of cappuccino in each hand, following Kyle. Her force senses led her to a bar on the other side of the mall, wherein sat...

"... Draco?" Keesha asked the massive dragon sitting just outside. Draco turned his head to see Keesha and smiled.

"So it was as Kyle said," Draco said. "You are here."

"So he is here," Keesha said, sipping her cappuccino like this was an everyday encounter. "But, no offense, but why are you here? I thought you were dead."

"I was," Draco said. "Long story. Don't ask." He smiled and added, "I have to admit, I thought Kyle was losing his mind when he said you were alive and wandering about here. Up until this point, he thought you were dead."

"Close to death," Keesha admitted, "Yes, closer than I'd like. But, alas, I am alive."

A new face entered the Complex, though, very unlike most of the residents there. She appeared to be human but, she was actually elven. She wondered in, looking around at the people passing by.

"wow, I feel so alone" she said in a playful demeanor. She wandered off, in search of something to do

"ok Kage, if you can beat Trebia in a drinking contest, i'll give you $50" Celestia said

"... So what brings you here, Keesha?" Draco asked.

"Truthfully," Keesha admitted, "it started as a bit of downtime on my own, but turned into a hunt for a long-lost lover once I learned that Kyle was here."

"Well, truthfully, Keesha--" Draco started.

"I know, Draco," Keesha said.

Draco frowned. "You do?"

"I felt it through the force. Kyle is in pain," Keesha explained. "He needs me, now more than ever." She sipped her cappuccino. "Tell me, Draco... where has he gone?" Though she wanted to Find Kyle so bad, she remained calm and composed.

"Where were you when you two first met? First admitted your feelings for one another?" Draco asked, knowing Keesha would get the reference.

Keesha opened her mouth to speak, then stopped. There were holodecks and holographic arenas in an area of the mall not too far from her location. Reserving some holodeck time and uploading a custom program of Cerinia would be a trivial matter. "Thank you, Draco," she said before walking off to find Kyle.
