The Cornerian Complex

Kage looked at Harmona, "Look... I'm sorry about what happened back on Titania... I just felt helpless. There was nothing I could do to stop what happened." He then fell silent, looking to her for approval, "Please, just look at me again"

The Twi'lek made note of the human's battered state, and before sharing her story felt the compulsion to ask, "You died? I'm having trouble believing this. No amount of force, not even the strongest Jedi, -or- sith, could bring one back to life... Right?" She asked

"From my limited studies, you aer correct." She smiled at the young man bringing their meals, nodding a thanks before continuing her story. "Time while dead is... iffy at best. From what i can tell, it has been a long time since Rhen Var. But i wasn't revived. By all terms, i am still deceased."

From behind Charylin, Trebia mocks her without her knowing, pantomiming her erratic arm movements and silently opening and closing her mouth.

"But deceased i may be, You still cant sneak up on me, Trebia" SHe says, Trebia's smirk replaced by a huff.

"I took her from the dead." Trebia said, sitting down next to the Twi'lek. "She was to usefull to die. But there was a complecation." Trebia hefts Charylin's leg onto her lap, sliding the pant leg up. The leg is obviously Necrotic, pale and almost a full shade of white. "THat brief few moments she touched the darkside? It corrupted her very soul."

"I am alive by the grace of the god of death, and only by staying in his graces will i be alive." Charylin smiles again.

Harmona looked up towards Kage, "The main reason I had gotten upset is because I fell in love with someone other then the arranged marriage described. I just...............maybe......things can start again....I don't know.." she then lowered her head.

He took her hands in his, "Harmona, let's pick up before we left, let's start again before this marriage business." He suggested, "Please?"

"Mr. Kage?" Gracia took the liberty of walking straight into the conversation, looking worried and slightly distraught. "Have you seen Mama?" SHe noticed Harmona a second after, Curtsying and accidentally exposing her dog legs. "Hello miss." SHe greeted.

Harmona looked at her paw in Kage's hands. She looked up at him, "Alright, I'll give you a second chance....." she chuckled all cool like.

He smiled as he embraced her, even though the fight was neither of their faults, it was nice that they could start again.

(Reintroducing a team of chars. Info on them and their new ship will be up later.)

So many years had passed since Kyle Indari had left team Star Dragon. In those years, the team had heard of many deeds Kyle had done. He had done a great many things.

And during that time, team Star Dragon had acquired a new ship - an upsized Ragnarok-class Star Dreadnought Refit, but the ship held the same name as their old one, the Retribution's Thunder.

So it was truly no surprise that the massive, 13-kilometer long starship dropped out of slipspace over Corneria, armed with a wide array of Kadgeron weapons. Neither weapons nor shields were powered up. The ship's transporters went active, depositing a single Jedi Weapon Master in the middle of the Corenerian Complex - a Terran Dragonarian. Kylet'oran was his name. Kylet'oran Jek'ari. He wore a gray Jedi Master robe, and an armored one, to boot.

"Jek'ari to the Retribution's Thunder," he said. "Are you sure Indari was here?"

"Truthfully, mall'prakkus," replied Kylet'oran's daughter, "I never said he was here - I merely said he frequents this place."

"We'll know if he's here if we detect that multi-kilometer-long Sovereign-class Super Star Destroyer," added in Kylet'oran's wife, a Human named San.

"Acknowledged," Kylet'oran responded. "I'll see what I can find out here." He switched off the comm and headed deeper into the complex...

(And just so ya know, Kyle Indari isn't here right now - he's elsewhere. As in, in another system.)

He would hear the interesting story, deciding to look through a map of the complex.... it took up four tables... " lets see.... pool.... pool..... pool.... food court..... arcades 1,2,&3.... You;d normally think the place has somewhere you could spar...." he said as he heaved a sigh. " He shrugged and headed off to find some.... out of the way place...

"no. i guess I should be going" Star said to Deric. She then turned to Kage

"Listen, ill be fine on my own. why dont you spend time with her and I'll go find myself something to do. catch ya later" she said before walking off. She wondered what to do next, thinking of the many places she wanted to visit that she hadn't seen

'I still didn't catch her name', Deric thought and then chuckeld to himself.

'Maybe next time', he thought, smiling.

Kylet'oran wandered, almost aimlessly, through the complex, and nearly bumped headlong into Star.

"Oh," he said as he bumped into her, "Excuse me, ma'am. Didn't mean to hit ya."

"Hud think man watch where Man goes" The titular Lug said, he and Trebia having stumbled out of a bar near the two, Trebia viciously hurling insults with a slurred tongue at the bouncer.

She sobered up quick though, staring intently at Kylet'oran. She sniffed the air with her reptilian tongue. "You smell of Jedi" SHe said simpally, narrowing her eye slits and snarling. Hud was quick to drape her over his shoulder, soft snores coming from his behind.

"Hud apologise for Trebia, But Hud need Ask Man favor."

"No apology is necessary, Hud," Kylet'oran responded to Hud's comment. "And I'm free at the moment. What can I help you with?"

(Ugh, I hate my meds. They never work as quickly as I need them to.)

"Hud have friend, Friends name Charylin" Hud motioned to the food court, Charylin sitting alone with the twi'lek still talking.

"Hud know Charylin look for training. Charylin in food court, Charylin wish Jedi training."

"So... You really are dead?" asked Alayah. "I don't understand, is that even possible?" She iterated. There was no way, it was just unheard of, she was dead? Nobody can cheat death, right?

"I admit myself it is really strange." Charylin said, gleefully munching apon a horribly unhealthy burrito "The best way i can explain it is that my soul was given a corporeal shell after i died. The being that gave me my shell required that i accept his patronage." She shrugged and snorted. "Im essentially a force ghost without the psychoanalytic bullshit and i can punch people i dont like."

"Very well," Kylet'oran said in his native tongue. "I'll do what I can."

He walked over to where Charylin sat, and spouted a greeting in his native Dragonarian, then said in galactic basic, "Someone told me you were looking for someone to train you in the ways of the Jedi. Is this true?"

* * *

High atop one of the Complex's upper levels, Xherron watched Kylet'oran. He was dressed in his usual attire, plus the hunting mask that allowed him to operate during the day. His trophy lightsaber was clipped to his belt, and he had his disruptor hanging fron his shoulder under his cloak.

So, he thought, The great Kylet'oran Jek'ari graces us with his presence. But where is the rest of his team?

"I am assuming Trebia told you" Charylin said, raising herself from the chair to hold out her hand in greeting, Her other hand being preoccupied with her cane. "She's been trying to get me to actually train for years now. Yes, yes i am."

He smiled as he embraced her, even though the fight was neither of their faults, it was nice that they could start again.

Harmona hugged Kage back. "So what have you been up these last few months?" she asked, wanting to try to catch up on a few things.

"A lot had gone down. I was called in a few times to work, nothing too serious, just security detail most of it. Punks think they can sneak into research facilities." He started, attempting to recall exactly where he had been since they last met. "Besides that though, not much happened. I got involved in a fight here. Heh, that went well. Tried to help someone with her problems, her daughter wasn't exactly safe with this guy she was with. My friends and I offered some advice. Then I ended up being the one to protect them." He continued. He might have gone off on a tangent but for good reason. Six or so months was a lot of time to recant. "So what's new with you?"

Kylet'oran shook Charylin's hand. "Well, actually, Hud told me. I might be mistaken, but Trebia was out cold on his shoulder. No idea why." He sat down in a nearby chair, fixing his emerald-green dragon eyes on Charylin. "So," he continued, "What training are you specifically looking for?"

Harmona listened, and chuckled a couple of times. "Not much out of the ordinary, after the marriage was annulled, I stay on Titania for awhile, spending time with my family. A slight war broke out between my tribe and anothers, thankfully, things were settled peacefully. Had to pretty much become a Diplomat during the treaty signings." she replied

"Hud? oh that slimy basterd." Charylin swore. "Should have known she would have put him up to the task" SHe shook her head and readressed Kyle'toran "i dont even know. I have about 4 months of training and enough lightsaber practice to be proficient, but thats about it. ASide from parlor tricks and inane uses for force levitation, i know nothing."
