"He tells me the heat is getting to him, this I can believe considering I touched his forehead earlier and it almost burnt my hand, the heat is probably having some fatigue side effects on him as well maybe even some stomach problems. But he hasn't told me much, but he has always been a quick healer so he should be fine by tomorrow." Krissy said as her food arrived.

"Oh, well he is what you might call a super soldier. In order to increase combat performance he was genetically altered to be even tougher then normal members of his species, this had some unfortunate side effects however and he will occasionally get severe headaches that cause his muscles to seize up, they have an antidote for this however which is what I poured down his throat. It rarely happens however and I guess that hit of yours triggered it, he is impressed however that you managed to get him down at all." Krissy said as she began to eat.

Krissy merely waved goodbye and muttered "Thanks for paying." she then chuckled and proceeded to finish her drink.

Anyway, something new will be introduced shortly. Meet the Event system, a biweekly, well, event for lack of better words, that happens around the complex. They'll come in varying lengths and importance and be controlled and regulated by us GMs. Feel free to use them however creatively you wish.

While waiting for the waiter to come around to take their orders, Airi let her mind wander and Gin let his gaze roam free.  It happened to rest upon the group at the table beside his own at just the right moment, the silver-furred vulpine's interested perked--The die had moved without anyone at that table having touched it.  He was tempted to make it move himself, but he decided against it, continuing to subtly watch out of the corner of his eye.

Toby  stare back at John and Jade in silence, not sure of what to say. Once he pocketed the dice he began to look around, wondering if he should try again to talk to anyone. He closed his eyes and gave another faint, "Hello?" trying to see if anyone could hear it. He would reopen his eyes and stare at the piece of bacon, slowly starting to crave it.

He kept gazing around the place, catching things here and there from other people. He would hear Jade poke fun at John and give a giggle. He would soon finish the bacon and wipe his mouth with a napkin.

He was very interested by our proposal, and has accepted it" Jade replied. John looked happy and so did Jade.

"Who is this lady, is she your mother" John and Jade did not know what was going on. They decided to ignore the old lady, and see how things were to play out.

Toby would wait a few moments before sitting back up in his chair, "If that was my mother.....I would have run a lot further..." he would say before shaking his head, not believing he just said that. "She owns the orphanage......" he would stop, he hated admitting that he was an orphan to people, in some cases, hating the pity.

Airi's ears perked up.  "Gin," she quietly began, "I hear someone in my head."

Kaida replied.  She was ready to leave, true, but she almost didn't want to.  She knew that after the meal she would have to leave the complex for a while, not to mention Flux.  She was needed--more or less--at home, and the wolf agreed it was best for her to be there.  "Thanks for breakfast, Flux."

John heard the comment about Toby's mom and it brought back some memories about his own mother. 'I would have to agree with you there Toby' He chuckled lightly "She looks like a mean lady, I'd avoid her to if I was in your shoes too." John replied

Toby was a bit confused, "She really isn't my mom........." he would say. "I don't even know who my mom is...." he would think to himself. But then he would look at Jade, forgetting for a moment she might have read his mind and lowered his ears. His eyes kept darting around, trying to make sure that the woman was no longer around.

He continued the warm smile and gaze to make sure he looked happy and calm still, although he was sad knowing what had to come.

Toby felt the hand and this strange feeling came to him, he didn't now how, but as soon as he was touched, he felt warm inside. He would turn and look up at Jade and smile. A strange noise began to come from inside him, he knew he was making it, but it was a low rumbling sound inside his chest, some would call it purring. He closed his eyes, smiling.

Toby's purring began to muffle a bit as he was getting ready to speak. "I don't even understand it....." he would say to her, hoping he did not offend her. He would look at his plate again, then up at John, smiling at his friend.
