The Cornerian Complex

A sniper wearing a red beret entered the complex he looked around to see what was there and then took a second to feel the air conditioning. "Feels good, just like my home planet. Wonder if the people here are nice." He thought to himself as he took a seat on a nearby bench.

Passing by him, Jorda Asks "YOu. Have you seen two very tall men come this way at all recently?"

The sniper looked around and saw two semi tall men in a nearby restaurant. "Over there, looks like they're causing quite the commotion." He said pointing at the restaurant.

"THOSE IDIOTS" She said before demolishing the path in front of her to reach her comrades, Tarkae right behind her.

Knocking bakc another drink, Reigan was stunned when Jorda cocked his head back and glared into his eyes. For a moment, all sound died. Then Reigan Smiled

"Jorda, how goes the search for Tarkae?"

Her face softening, a little, Jorda thumbed backwards, the sight of Tarkae stuggling to eat his little hamburger with his humongous hands quite entertaining. Drawing her chair next to him, Jorda sat and drank with the rest of them, Their long journey not having amenities like so.

"THOSE IDIOTS" She said before demolishing the path in front of her to reach her comrades, Tarkae right behind her.

Knocking bakc another drink, Reigan was stunned when Jorda cocked his head back and glared into his eyes. For a moment, all sound died. Then Reigan Smiled

"Jorda, how goes the search for Tarkae?"

Her face softening, a little, Jorda thumbed backwards, the sight of Tarkae stuggling to eat his little hamburger with his humongous hands quite entertaining. Drawing her chair next to him, Jorda sat and drank with the rest of them, Their long journey not having amenities like so.

The sniper watched this scene, he looked for a few seconds, before turning away. "It isn't any of my buisness, well at least not yet." He said to himself as if suspecting to be somehow involved in that fiasco later. "Wonder what's in the news." He said to himself as he picked up a nearby newspaper.

"Chinese food is a genre more than a delicacy, but it is good" Arashikage said (XD I just had chinese not 20 minutes ago) "What was it you wanted to tell me?" He asked, finding a restaurant and setting course for it, his arm still around Harmona

Harmona chuckled, "Well....then I would still like to try it.." she would reply to him. She would glance up at him, "What kinds of food do they have there?" she would ask. As they walked, she realized she was getting more used to the boots she had on.

"They have things like chicken, seafood, egg rolls, rice, noodles, soup, donuts, things like that" Arashikage said, his mouth watering from the thought of it, "They cook it much differently than normal" He explained "That's what makes it a separate category of food.... So what was it you needed to 'confess' anyway?"

Salvador got bored of reading the paper, he decide to go see what was going with those humans, he didn't feel threatened by them, he was at least 1 ft taller then the tallest of them, and he wasn't fooled by their armor. "Well I can see them over there, might as well check on them." He said to himself as he walked over to the restaurant.

Toby would smile, waiting for the two to come up. He would think to Jade, forgetting to relax, "Having fun?" he would ask her through thought. He would eventually open himself back up and look at the two, a question of definition wanting to come out, but he decided to wait for now.

Jade and John were having fun on the playground. They were really enjoying themselves. Jade had heard Toby's voice in thought and she responded, "I am having tons of fun Toby!" She laughed smiled, for she had heard Toby better then before. John decided to mess around a little bit more, and he gave a sort of bow and said in a playful voice. "So how is King Toby today?"

"Don't worry about it" The eagle girl said "I would like some company"

"Then I'd be happy to be some company for a while." she said with a nod, smiling still.  "Do you know the way?  Because being completely honest, I still get lost in this place.  It's...Well, really big."

Gin and Airi kind of missed the "company" of the next table.  Particularly Gin, actually, which was a surprising twist.  Usually the vixen was the most social, but her brother found another with telekinetic powers to be interesting indeed.  'Hey, Airi?  Mind if we follow them?'

'Hmm...Can I play at the park?'

Silently chuckling, the fox nodded, afterward thinking, 'Of course.'

'Then let's go!'

Soon enough the two arrived, Gin's tail pressed gently against Airi's side as she followed along just a few inches behind him.  His amber eyes scanned the area for the young tiger, hoping to find him again.

The dragon, fox crossbreed re-entered the complex while dusting his shoulders, and sighing.

"Well... I got paid a good deal more, and that is all that matters." He said softly to himself. Although now I have made someone sadder most likely... Gah...

He went about, roaming around, looking for something to do, or someone or group to be more social with.

The Klee Kai increased her pace until she was beside the eagle-girl, afterward slowing her pace to match Kaila's.  "So then you've been to the complex more than once, I'm guessing?"

"You two....have made me the happiest I have ever been....I was....wondering....if you two could..." he could not even finish the thought, "John said that if you two left, I could go with you......but....I want...more.." he would say to her, he hated keeping John out of the loop, but he was nervous to say it out loud.

Harmona smiled, "You have made me really happy......I would like to be around you more and more..." her tails still limp behind her. "I was just afraid at first that you might turn out to be the same, but I know now you are not.......kind of why I blush a lot..." she would confess to him.

"Well, no.  But I did stay here for a long time.  I was about to leave, but just didn't have the energy to fly back home" She said "So I just stayed" Kaila said as they rounded a corner, now looking at the side door

Toby was unaware of anyone else near them, he was more focused on what he wanted to ask Jade and John. Luckily for Toby, his privacy was maintained, Airi's mind busy on the sounds of the playground.  "Gin, come onnn..." she quietly whined, gently tugging on his arm.

With a roll of his eyes, his gaze finally resting on Toby, the vulpine thought, 'Can we wait until -after- we see the boy?  Come on, he could be fun to play with.'

"Well...He is around our age, right?"

'Right.'  Figuring that her silence meant she was okay with it, Gin led her towards the tiger.  He would have sounded a greeting, but...Well, you know.

"Well, no.  But I did stay here for a long time.  I was about to leave, but just didn't have the energy to fly back home" She said "So I just stayed" Kaila said as they rounded a corner, now looking at the side door

John could hear Toby, and Jade could hear him. The sat for a bit and listened to his question, their eyes widened a bit at the nature of the question, and they both began to tear a bit. They knew what he was asking, and Jade and John knew what they had wanted. They could not allow Toby to be treated horribly by the orphanages. Jade and John both said. "Yes Toby, we would love too!!" They both went up to Toby and hugged him

"Huh.... This fountain is actually quite nice!" The hybrid mumbled to himself as he sat on a couch like chair near it, as it was a hang out/resting place. "Really relaxing and calm... A guy could sit here for a bit..."

He made sure to look around once in a while to make sure no one was looking at him strangely. He was not used to being in public a lot, and was not used to all the norms.

Another vibration.  "Sorry, gimme another sec..."  Pulling it out, Kaida giggled quietly at the message, still smiling as she texted her response.  Once she put the phone away, she brushed her hair back, asking, "Sorry, what was the question?"

"Have you been coming here often?" Kaila said again, not really bothered by the texting seeing as how practically everyone she knew did that when they were talking, she just figured Kaida was working on her multitasking

Caitlyn was walking around the halls of the shopping center, her head was down low, she just wanted to find a quiet place to sit down and think, knowing that wasn't going to happen, she settled for a bench against a wall

(Alright, I have some things to go over and remind you guys of. Firstly, this is a public RP. Ergo, you are all expected to interconnect and play amongst eachother rather than apart. For the longest time now, it seems that you've all divided into pairs of romantic couples and kept to yourselves. This is not what we're going for, here. If a segment longer than a few posts ends up more like it should have been done over PM, then there's a problem. I know you lovebirds have guys and gals wanting to stay firmly attached to one another, but you have to remember that this is not a romance simulator. It's a casual RP. It's very point is to better develop and define your characters in an environment with no clear cut plot, and there is a lot more to a character than how much he or she wants love. Granted, couples can and most of the time are good, and there is nothing WRONG with dedicated actions, but they have their place and limit. Diversify a little bit, get creative, come out of your one areas and actually intermingle in a way that does not suggest ulterior motives, pl0x.)
