The Cornerian Complex

Jade turned and looked at Toby. "My guess is that he is calling his brother, probably about business or something. I am really not sure. I can say is that it was for his brother."

"Oh..." is all Toby could say at the moment, he then turned up to Jade, "So...I have an uncle now?" he would say playfully at her, letting his tail swing from side to side. He then thought of another question, "Are you and John........" he would suddenly ask her in thought, in case John was to suddenly come back.

"Huh..." Everett spoke softly, taking a look at the blue vixen. "Well, long stories are fun... But I won't pry." He noted aloud, rubbing his arms now.

"I know computers too a sense. Not as much as there is too know, but I can get around a small virus. But piloting... I have never done anything like that..." He said with a little bit of shock. "That must be a nice thrifty talent to have."

John chuckled a bit. "Piloting is a bit tough, but it is in my opinion to be a lot easier then driving." He was remembering old memories of back home, his old home

He paused for a bit. "and what is your specialty?" He asked.

She then went to answer the next question."You could say so Toby, During this vacation, John and I have grown closer, mainly because of the free time that we have had." She smiled as this was the first time as she had every really admitted it. She also looked down at her neck, and she pulled the locket into her hand. " He gave me this gift, on our first day back here, in Corneria."

She then went to answer the next question."You could say so Toby, During this vacation, John and I have grown closer, mainly because of the free time that we have had." Toby would grin, feeling more like this to be a family more then anything else he had ever experienced. "That is sweet...." he would say. He would then lower his ears, "I'm sorry....I need to use the restroom again....I can go by myself..." he would reassure her, hoping it didn't give the wrong impression.

"Judging by the you build, and your muscles, I would say, you are good at a physical skill. My guess is a Martial arts of some sort?"

Everett, yet again for the second time, chuckled at this. "You know... I don't usually take kindly to people who check me out. But since you have Jade, I think I am fine to say that it was for the soul purpose of the guess." He said sarcastically as a joke.

"But yeah... You are right. Not like I can't get better, but I do rely on my physical traits, yes."

He screamed with both his mind and voice as loud as he could. Without warning the guard stopped, feeling a strange sensation around him. Without warning the guard lifted into the air, and was thrown into a nearby tree, falling to the ground shortly after, leaving Toby to roll away from him slightly dazed.

John's ears perked up he heard Toby, he didn't know where he was, but his instincts kicked in. "TOBY!!" He screamed loudly as he jumped of the bench and ran over to Jade.

After hearing all of this, and seeing the two move off the way they did, Everett stayed there with the two vulpines.

"They have it covered..." He told the small vixen next to him, and made sure the young vulpine stayed near him. He did want to go help the tiger, but the other two adults mindlessly left the vulpines there, and Everett would be damned if he were to leave them and the other children all alone with someone hurting others near them.

Toby would eventually push himself onto his hands and knees after hitting the ground. The guard had been knocked out, but Toby still tried his best to crawl away from him. "J-Jade? John?" he would try to think, since he lost his breath form hitting the tree.

John came out of the bathroom and saw a guard that was knocked out. He must have been trying to take Toby. He saw Toby trying to get back to him. John called for Jade and she came over as soon as she could.

Jade came over and said "We need to get them to the Infirmary at the complex." She ran over to Toby. "Toby are you ok?"

John grabbed the Guard and carried him over his shoulder. Jade picked up Toby and carried him in her arms. "It is ok sweetie, we got you now"

They both went back to the Complex and visited the infirmary there.

They both went back to the Complex and visited the infirmary there.

Toby remained silent. When he was picked up by Jade he let out a soft sigh of relief. "I'm sorry...." he would think to Jade. He was, he should have figured that the hag had not taken the Amber Alert off of him out of spite. He would raise his arm and cling to her shirt, not wanting to let go.

He stated. "Sure, it is normal for the mind to think, and act on such. It is psychological. But I don't know... It just ticks me off that they would do that. And also that I wanted to help the kid, but I would be caught dead if I left all the kids here with someone hurting other kids without them having any supervision." He explained, basically wanting to keep the kids safe in the long run.

So Scott could got back to his room, or more properly, nearly reached his room's door,

he ran into Jake, his friend.

"What are you doing!" Jake said.

"I am going to my room. Also: you are days later. Like allways." Replied Scott.

"he,he. You and your 'good timing'... Now let's get into the important thing.

We have to leave this place, because I am being tracked. Apparently one of those 'employers'

of mine wasn't satisfied with my work, and now is after me." Explained Jake, his large wolf ears twiching all the way.

"It doesn't suprise me. Honestly. But now, let's get going... My stuff is already packed."

Scott quickly gathered his belongings, and so did Jake, each in his respective room. After that,

they headed togheter for the space port; they would take the next ship to Gaia Colony.

Scott decided it was time he made the plans, perhaps that way their fortunes would change for good.

He eyed the dingo slightly, still curious about many things, but set it aside at the hand. He grasped Scott's hand with his, and shook. "Everett."

Now he gives to charity?!... This guy sure is a Kind Samaritan... He thought, thinking this guy had to be too good to be true.

"Where are you from? I don't usually hear that accent around here." He questioned, partially wanting to know more.
