"Well, music and movies are both fun, and the playground can be fun, and sometimes me and Gin just mess around be usually just he does because my messing involves people and he doesn't really think that's a good idea, but it's pretty fun."

Yes, it's supposed to be structured that way.

--

Gin shrugged his shoulders, taking a hand out of his pocket and pointing to Toby's tail.

(Now I'm out XD)

(ill still reply....and OMG.....Airi....had to take a moment to read that one xD)

Scott listened and then he smiled, "Who is Gin, is he your brother?" he would ask her, then he heard the words of messing with people, "Oh...I get you, you are one of those cute little pranksters..." he would say to her. He found he adorable, but he felt she already knew that.

-----

Toby would glance at his tail, "Oh?......OH!.....That was you?!" he would ask in a slightly amazed voice. "So are you like me...telepathic...and...what was the word..." he had to think for a moment, "Oh yeah, Kinetic?" he would ask the vulpine.

Scott would chuckle, "Of course, mate. I enjoy it, helps me think when I get my groove on..." he would say with a wink. He thought about the part of learning over story, "I have to agree with you too on learning. But sometimes my imagination runs when it comes to astronomy......I start to think...there is something more up there you know...well.." he suddenly realized he was babbling.

He quickly turned to the dingo with a more happy expression. "Are you kidding me?! I love astronomy! It was practically my best subject in school!" Everett replied happily, although again was a little phased by the wink shot at him.

He noticed Airi doing what she was, and scooting closer to the man, and even onto his lap. It's nothing... She's young, all there is too it...

Airi giggled, bobbling her head from side to side, neither nodding nor shaking her head.  "Sort of like that, I guess you could say."

--

The vulpine shook his head, holding up two fingers.  Then, upon remembering that maybe Toby could read his mind, the young fox thought, 'Just telekinetic.  Airi's the telepath.'

Toby closed his eyes, Just..kinet.." Is all he would hear, "Damn it..." he would get upset, then quickly glance up at the vulpine, "i'm sorry, it is still cutting out, think we could talk normally for awhile..." he would ask, not wanting to miss any more of the conversation due to lack of hearing.

Leaning back and whispering in Scott's ear, Airi said rather excitedly, "Don't tell, but I read people's minds!"

At the young tiger's suggestion, Gin have a sheepish smile, lightly shaking his head.  'As much as I would love to, I can't.'

Balsa lounged about, Taking in the sights of the complex. Normally a day as this would be spent reading, but balsa had some down time before her next book came in. So she browsed shelves, ate, and all aaround started to have a good time.

Due to Everett's partially deaf ear, he was unable to hear that Airi whispered to Scott. He simply went on.

"That doesn't sound crazy, at least not to me." He started, going back to his more serious presence, trying to stay calm and such. "I mean, look at Lylat. If something this big was made, there must be something bigger, and better out there. I think it is entirely possible."

(morning everyone xD)

Leaning back and whispering in Scott's ear, Airi said rather excitedly, "Don't tell, but I read people's minds!"

Due to Everett's partially deaf ear, he was unable to hear that Airi whispered to Scott. He simply went on.

Scott listened to the little girl, and he almost could not control himself. He pulled back slowly, then he smiled, "That is quite a talent you have there..." he would whisper back to her. He would then hear Everett speak about Scott's little theory. "Oh come off, mate, sometimes it just seems a bit farfetch'd if you ask me..." he would say lowering an ear.

At the young tiger's suggestion, Gin have a sheepish smile, lightly shaking his head.  'As much as I would love to, I can't.'

Toby did not understand, "Why not?" he asked through his mind, catching the message a bit better this time. "I have trouble getting a full message from someone all the time.....that is why I suggested it.....or....do you have to go?" He would ask, doing his best to concentrate as he did so.

At this Everett turned his head and gave the Dingo a look. "Well, I'm not asking you am I?" He started with a slight grin. "I don't care if you believe it anymore, but I am certain there has to be something better than this place. All I know is my whole life here has pretty much sucked. And I know for a fact, that on different planets it would have been better. There is something always bigger and better than what is already had. It is common theory, but now, just simply used in a bigger span. I don't see why others wouldn't believe it." He explained with meaning. Everett totally believed this. Whether it was more his hopes causing him to believe it as a fact or not, he could not tell.

"I know, right?" Airi replied quietly but proudly, her sightless amber eyes gleaming in the sunlight.

--

Gin had the same sheepish grin on his muzzle, reaching back to rub his neck.  'It's not that, just...'  After a few moments he opened his muzzle as if to speak, but not a single sound came out.

Scott would think for a moment, and while thinking he heard Airi's joy, "So are you able to hear just about anyone?" he tried asking in thought, not having met too many telepathic people before. But then he gave serious thought to what Everett said. "Mate, I still do, but since moving here from Earth. It has been what I have been searching for. I guess you could say the grass is always greener on the other side, until you get there that is..." he would look back at Airi, smiling as he did.

Toby would lower his ears, "You.....you can't talk can't you....?" he would think, feeling that he had been a bit selfish with his request. "I'm sorry....." He would say in thought. He would turn his head back to Jade and John, mostly to see if they were still there, and no guards were trying to take him again. He turned back to the vulpine, hoping he didn't offend him.

"Well, I am happy that maybe your life style is fine and dandy on this planet." Everett responded, getting a tad more serious, but still in his calmer toned voice. "All I know is mine isn't. And I wouldn't have been made unless I was meant to find peace at least somewhere in my life. Whether I believe there is a better place or not, I don't know. But I sure as hell know I am not satisfied with here, and therefore has to be somewhere better." He finished explaining.

This whole topic Everett didn't like. The only reason this emotion was hugely hidden was because he usually talked with a serious tone, so that when something was emotional to him, it would have to either be really emotional, or else it would just seem like his normal tone and style again.

'Uh-huh.' she mentally replied, her smile growing just a titch.  'I just have to either be focused on that one person or a little area of people.  Gin usually wants me to only focus on his mind and not read other people's, though.' she explained.

--

Gin waved his hand, dismissing the topic, giving Toby another friendly smile.  'It's fine, don't worry.  Just keep a link to my mind, alright?  You can talk out loud, but you won't hear me otherwise.'

Scott would hear Airi and smile, "Well, guess your older brother is just being protective now isn't he...and why not, don't want a sweet thing like you to get hurt now do we?" he would say to her. He heard Everett's comment, "Look, mate, I didn't mean to start an argument, I'm sorry 'bout that." he would say lowering his ears. "Anyway I can make it up to you, I hate getting people riled for no reason..." he would say to him.

Gin waved his hand, dismissing the topic, giving Toby another friendly smile.  'It's fine, don't worry.  Just keep a link to my mind, alright?  You can talk out loud, but you won't hear me otherwise.'

Toby would nod, I'll let you know if I didn't catch something....to try again...ok?" He would say in thought, he hated how he was just learning his abilities and how they cut out on him. He would soon raise his right hand, "I'm Toby..." he would say to the vulpine.

Walking through the doors alone was Brelos. His Eye was removed, instead replaced with a mechanical visor, not unlike one would see on the borg. His Armro was removed, inste ad wearing a simple White Tunic and matching pain of pants. He looked tired, probably felt tired too, but he walked on regardless.

Jade walked from the center of the park and back to where John had stopped. She looked at him and said, "Where is Toby?" John turned to her and said "Making friends" as he pointed to Toby, and his new friend. Jade put her arm around John and said, "I am proud of you John, what you are doing, its extraordinary." John blushed and smiled sheepishly. "Yeah" They decided to hang back and watch from a distance. John recovered from blushing and said, "I am more proud of Toby, he has come so far from the first time I met him"

"No, don't be sorry." He started, still in the same manner. "Just because you said something you meant, whether or not it got me upset, doesn't mean you need to be sorry. You spoke your mind, and I spoke mine." Hiding the slight tear, he continued. "And I don't need that charity in the least." If I had a nickle every time I have had to hear people make things up to me...

Everett then sighed as he closed his eyes. "You definitely have no argument with me... I just got a bit ahead of myself." Reopening them, and looking to the dingo, "Just curious... What did you have in mind to make me up for it?" Everett questioned, wanting to know what the dog possibly had thought he could have done.

Scott was just making Airi more and more comfortable around him.  She liked his little compliments, the way his voice sounded when he spoke, and his overall cheerful demeanor.

Except for when he spoke to Everett.  They seemed a little upset.

--

Taking his hand, the silver-furred fox gave it a good shake.  'I'm Gin.  Nice to meet you.'  Once he had pulled his hand back again, the shake having ended, he asked with a light grin, 'So you're telekinetic, eh?  What can you do?'

In other words, how skilled was he?

Scott noticed the tear before Everett had the chance to hide it. And when asked how he would make it up to him, Scott honestly had a slight blush across his face. "Well....I..uh....pretty much anything it is you like....Like I mentioned, I prefer to see others happy before my own..." he would say taking a glance at the innocence known as Airi and smiled at her. "I mean....Dinner....or....er.." Scott seriously had trouble in answering this question.

Toby would glance back, noticing Jade near John, and wave at her, he then turned back to Gin, "Well....I can lift little things.....but sometimes...I lose control...and bigger things get lifted.." He did his best to explain, so he figured showing would be best. He would look around until he finally decided on a few rocks. He concentrated and would be able to lift up two without a problem. He would have them float to his hands, one in each. "Earlier I lifted a person.......I didn't mean to....but he kind of hit a tree in the process..." He would admit.

Ultor had awoken by now, he did a few stretches and got up. "Well I'm feeling better, guess I'll go see what happened in my absence." He thought to himself as he stepped out of his room to the lobby. "Haven't seen John and Jade in awhile, wonder what they're up too."

Everett saw the blush and was curious, but decided not to inquire anything in the least. He stood, stretching his back and wings the slightest. "Well, I need to use the restroom. You can think over your answer for when I get back. You seem to have two wills when it comes to this." He noted aloud, and then headed to the bathroom section that was near the park outside the complex.

He walked into the bathrooms, and closed the door behind him.

When nothing new was directed to her, Airi began listening in to the conversation between the two men on the bench, wondering why they sounded all serious-like.

--

'Very impressive.' Gin thought to the young tiger as the rocks floated to him.  At the mention of him making someone hit a tree, his mouth opened in a silent chuckle.  'Sounds like fun.  It's nice being able to do this sort of thing, isn't it?'

Brelos was looking for something. Anyone with eyes could tell that. But hwat he was searching for was the mystery. Perhaps contact with someone to help him with something? Or perhaps, he was avoiding someone?
