Jade had listened to Toby, and replied "Chocolate is a good flavor"

John had turned to the attendant and asking for another chocolate.

A few moments later, the attendant came back with the ice cream. John got his vanilla and Jade and Toby got their chocolate.

Krissy had waited awhile before she made her next move. "This is as good as time as any to go speak with them. Besides I still haven't introuduced my self to their son." Krissy thought to herself as she walked over to John, Jade, and Toby's location. "Hey you guys, Mark says hi John." She said when she got near them.

Toby would glance at his ice cream, then began to sniff it. He felt the frost air it gave off onto his nose, it felt nice. He then heard someone quickly refer to John in a surprise that made him jump a bit, his ice cream hitting his nose lightly. Toby would turn, licking the cream from his nose, then turning up to John to see his reaction.

Krissy thought to herself as she walked over to John, Jade, and Toby's location. "Hey you guys, Mark says hi John." She said when she got near them.

Toby would glance at his ice cream, then began to sniff it. He felt the frost air it gave off onto his nose, it felt nice. He then heard someone quickly refer to John in a surprise that made him jump a bit, his ice cream hitting his nose lightly. Toby would turn, licking the cream from his nose, then turning up to John to see his reaction.

John heard a familiar voice entering the shop. "Oh hey Krissy how are you" He would say. He looked at Toby for a second to see him licking the ice cream off his nose.

John chuckled and smiled at him before turning back to Krissy

"Likewise, I was hanging out with your friend Mark earlier. Ultor's off on a mission as well so we won't see him for a few days or so. But enough of my blabbering how have things with you been?" Krissy asked

Toby would take a lick of his ice cream, as it started to slightly melt on his hand. Toby looked up at Jade, he felt it safe for the moment, "Friend of you guys?" he would ask her, still lapping at some of his ice cream. Toby would lean onto John affectionately, wrapping his arm arms his leg.

John turned back to Toby and said "Toby, this is Krissy, she is one of our good friends." He would say.

He would hear Jade ask about 'treasure hunting', which would perk a sudden interest in Toby "Is she a Pirate? he would think to himself. He would just remain quiet for now, or at least with his muzzle. "Enjoying yourself?" came the sinister voice in his head, Toby had already but the connection between him and Jade, so she would not hear.

John and Jade were glad to hear that Krissy understood Toby's position. The extra outside encouragement would help him.

"Things have been going well with us." Jade would say. "Been on any new and exciting treasure hunts?" John would ask

"Yes, but the payout was only 750,000. A lot lower then that one with Ultor last week." She answered "So anyway Toby I was wondering, how have things been since John and Jade adopted you?" Krissy asked

Toby would hear how they had said things were going great, and smile at this. He would hear Jade ask about 'treasure hunting', which would perk a sudden interest in Toby "Is she a Pirate? he would think to himself. Jade and John were glad to here that she had a treasure hunt last week, "Hopefully that next hunt, you will hit a big one" John would say with enthusiasm before eating more of his ice cream

Jade heard the question that Krissy had asked to Toby as she just continued to eat her ice cream.

Toby would smile, "It has been GREAT. I love everything about them, especially since they are helping me with my abilities..." he would say, a slight tear of joy slipping down his cheek. "Awww....how cute....that someday you'll kill the ones you love.." It came, making Toby slightly upset, but he said nothing about it

Jade and John gleamed with Joy after hearing what Toby said about them. Jade gave Toby a hug and said "We love you too Toby."

At the moment after she said that she heard something. It was faint, but with Jade's close proximity to Toby, she heard the voice, and what it said she did not like. But she didn't want to ruin the moment.

Krissy had sensed an uneasy feeling in the room she didn't think much of it though. "It must be nice having a family you guys. Ultor still isn't up to the idea yet, but I'll get him someday." Krissy said.

He chuckled as some more got on his nose and he licked it off. He was content at the moment. "Enjoy it while you can is all I can say..."

He would turn back to Krissy and smile, "Will we see you again?" he asked, he was starting to like her. "Finally...now I get to see the first place to burn..." Toby scratched his head a bit, "Not if I have anything to say about it..." he responded in thought to it. He would hug John around the waist, then would being to walk with Jade, eating the end of the cone, loving the waffle taste of it.

(and as you two know.....that...was my last post for awhile....sorry Emperor....we were hitting it off well...but...yeah..you read lol)
