Hey everyone! My a long while ago, my aunt let me play her PS# and i played MGS 4 and i beated 2 times. IT was freak'in awsome! What did you guys think of it? what did you like, what didnt you like and what was it that you liked? Anything you would have wanted in it?

If it were me, i loved the PMC troops under Ocelot's control a.k.a "the bad guys". i usually like the bad guys in most of the games i play mostly; there are exceptions. The diff weapon selctions you could have and etc. what i didnt like was how did snake become the way he was exactly? they should have done a flashback how he became like he did. Also i wanted to be allied with the PMCs instead of the rebels. what say you?

Probably one of the Best games I've bought for the PS3, Played quite a few playthroughs after I beat it the First time. The Boss's were to Die for, and the amount of different weapons to choose from made it that much better.

The Hidden Patriot weapon was probably my favorite, that and the Slandered P90 SMG.

*SPOILER ALERT* Snake got that way because he is a clone, and was genetically altered to have a shorter life-span than normal so the chances of someone creating other clones off him would be reduced. Least that's the way I understood it.

Anyway, as for what I liked about the game, it had no weapons I dislike, except the Desert Eagles, which is fine because I never touch them. Wish they didn't take the PSG-1 out, though, as that's like an icon of MGS gaming. What I don't like about it though is Raiden. He goes from being super-annoying useless punk in MGS2, to an emo ultimate bad-ass in MGS4, because they had to overcompensate for him. Despite the fact that they knew people hate him and think he's gay, which they make fun of in the first MGS4 announcement trailer (done before they even really had the story fleshed out, and was done on PS2 graphics), and in MGS3 when they had a character named "Raidenovich," who looks JUST like Raiden, and was the lover of the final boss, who is another man. So they overcompensate for him, and make him a thousand times more annoying. I liked him better when he was an inept grunt that could be (and was) mistaken for a woman.

Apart from that though, I enjoy the game a lot. For a good laugh I sometimes go into MGS-O and pull out a Mosin-Nagant, and put people to sleep, just to annoy the shit out of em. Got an entire enemy team to start using em in retaliation.

Guest Para Astaroth

I've destroyed the campaign the first time with a mixture of death and non-lethal interactions the first time through and am working on the non-lethal campaign right now.  I'm also running back through the boss battles again to get the Beauty and Beast statues while just breezing through the game once more.  The ONE mission that ticked me off the most would have to have been the mission where you were to make a mad dash through COUNTLESS ghekkos while at the same time trying to avoid their attacks:  One swipe from it's legs could either critically injure Snake, or kill him in one blow depending on your distance from the damn things.

In my opinion, it's still one of the graphically impressive games out there, along with the feel of the near future of war.  It's also nice to see some familiar faces from past MG games, but some of them won't be making hardly any appearances -- aside from flashback moments -- due to the character(s) being killed or just aren't involved in the game.

All in all, I would give it a 9.75/10 for that it just felt like it was missing 'something' in the game, but I don't know what.
