Dublinthefox
Today was my first day back to school and let me tell ya, its the beginning of some much more difficult. Instead of having classes that were mid-morning...ish, I start classes at 8 a.m. like most classes, exept now that I'm only taking 2 classes because of how long it takes me to get things done, my classes end at around noon.Anyway today I had my first class in Composition 1 which is a more advanced writing class than I took last semester. and the worst thing about it besides the assignments is that now I have a more strict professor than I had before. Â Anywho, the class only lasted an hour and a half instead of 2 so I decided before heading home I go to the game store and lucky me, I found a copy of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and a copy of Super Mario RPG. Â After that I left.
Dublinthefox
Well the second semester finally started for me because I was out of school for almost over a month. I'm taking a advance writing class and a computer science class and all I can say is that they're gonna hard as HELL! In other news i think I have an Idea of what I'm going as for this years AnimeIowa convention. I looked up the materials and things needed and this year I'm thinking of going as Roxas from Kingdom Hearts II in his Organization XIII clothes. I know its a little soon to think of this, but its safer to be prepared.
Dublinthefox
Well today was a very special day for me. Today was my 19th birthday and all I can say is that it was very relaxing. Sure I had a long day at school and I had to go to work, but all in all, it was a pretty good day. As a present from my family I was given a japanese katana. I posted a few pics if anyone wants to see it. a few people I know who have swords usually name the, so I decided to name my sword Desodroya. Anyway for the past few weeks I haven't really been in the artsy mood. I other words, I need some form of inspiration. But, I'm slowly getting back in the mood and will be getting back to drawing very soon.
Dublinthefox
This past week I finally got my inspiration back and I'm getting back to working on my art. After a while I thought up of some new ideas, though the furry web-comic series is gonna have to wait. I finally got a few requests from some people and I'm hoping to post things more frequently since I rarely do. Anyway, the idea of the web-comic series I thought of was actually inspired by the flash series W.H.O.O.K.O.S. created by a flash animator called Scoot, though the characters in mine are anthros and I still need to work on it a little. In other news, I just preordered my 3DS and is now playing the waiting game! Star Fox 64 3DS WHOOOOOOO!
Dublinthefox
I decided to try a new art style! I'm going to try to use the same one as one of my favorite artist's, Scoot of WHOOKOS. I even went through a tutorial he did and here were the results: Heres the tutorial:
Dublinthefox
Well just recently I have finished yet another drawing. I'm starting to get the hang of the new drawing technique I learned after watching Scoot do his tutorial. Anyway the 3DS will be coming out soon and there have already been reviews about the games for it like Street Fighter and Steel Diver. Once I get my 3DS on Sunday I might pick up a copy of Street Fighter. On another topic earlier this week I had a very important dental procedure done. It turns out that I had the first signs of cavities. CURSE YOU MOUNTAIN DEW! Anyway the procedure went well and got the fillings put in. The sad thing is though a little bit of my pride was lost that day.........sad....so....very sad. But that will heal in time....I guess.
Dublinthefox
Its been a while since I posted anything in my journal but what the hell I'lll do it anyway. Anywho I have very good news. I finally got my laptop to work again. this was the thing I use to use before I became a hardcore Apple user. Anyway I had to get it up and running again since my computer science class consists of only PC's.....how......unfortunate. Speaking of which I no longer have any projects or assignments for the rest of the year. Which means I can spend more time hanging out with all of ya'll. Also this means that more art will be posted on both my Devaintart page and Furaffinity account.

Dublinthefox
Just anywhere on the site since I keep happening to never see your posts. Dx Well due to collage work, I've been mostly preoccupied with boring crap. I'm usually online, just not that active.
Dublinthefox
Well it was gonna happen eventually, but I finally finished my first year of collage and all I can say is THANK FREAKING GOD ITS OVER! Whats even better about it is I may have gotten fairly good results from my finals. Now I can finally spend my time doing whatever I want........except work..........and my flash animation class..........and try to finish my Wesker costume for this years Anime Iowa convention.....but other than that I can get back to posting more artwork on DA and FA. I've been kind of lacking the artistic felling for a couple of months and I want to get back on track.
Dublinthefox
Yesterday was a very special day since it was my little brothers 16 birthday. Too bad that I wasn't there to celebrate it with him since I was at work half of the day. Other than that I got back into working on some art pics (this time putting more detail into it) an was amazed at how fast my friend Raphial from the KLA and his girlfriend Dani (Limizuki) finished theirs. I think it's what they do most of there time nowadays.
Dublinthefox
Besides E3 2011 and the release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, nothing really big has been going on with me. I finally got the chance to register for my flash animation class that I will be taking later this summer and I asked for more hours for work since we are completely remodeling most of the store. Also for those who were wanting to see me as Resident Evil 5 Albert Wesker this year for Anime Iowa 2011, I'm sorry to say that I won't actually be cosplaying this year. Its not that I didn't want to its just that I didn't have enough time to get the materials and components ready in time. I'm still going to the convention and will be taking photos its just I'm not going as anyone. Though I have decided that I will get an early start for next years convention. Before deciding Wesker I wanted to go as Link since I rarely saw any cosplayers last year, maybe a 2 of them I guess. Anywho I know where I can find the replica master sword and Hylian shield and a great tailor who can help with the tunic, the hat and other crap. And the thing about my artwork is that I'm still working on a few projects, its just taking so damn long to get them looking the way I want them to look. Also I kind of hurt my drawing hand during work because I was lifting heavy boxes because of the remodeling and my fingers have gotten a little sore since then. Dublinthefox
Since today is the last day of the convention I decided to sum up what I thought about what happened this weekend. And let me tell you IT WAS F**KING AWESOME! This has been my second anime convention ever and I have to say that it has been the better one given that I went all 3 days. Day 1: The first day was pretty exiting for everyone else what with a crap load of people and cosplayers there, but for me it was the worst day of the bunch. Not only did they say that the dealers den wouldn't be open till 4 and sad for me since I had to work the first 2 days, but I had other bad things going on. Not only was I not able to take any pics of cosplayers due to me forgetting my SD card at home, but when I wanted to sit down in the lobby and play a little Nintendo 3DS I couldn't because my battery was too low. All in all the first day wasn't very well for me. Day 2: Quite frankly the best of the bunch. I was able to get a few pics which I have already posted as of now and I was able to hang out with my friends who I haven't seen since I left for my trip to Miamisburg. I was able to get a few things at the dealers den this time, like a riot baton in the weapons area, a birthday gift for my friends upcoming 20th birthday, and last but not least an autographed photo and a chance to meet Robert Axelrod. He was and is known as the voice actor to Lord Zedd in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. To me that really made my day since he was the first celebrity I ever met and the fact that he voiced my favorite villain to one of my favorite TV shows. Day 3: The third day was pretty good but not as exiting as the second day. There were still many but not as much cosplayers and most of everybody stayed on the dealers den. I was able to meet up with my friends and the gang and like everyone else we basically hung out in the dealers den. Robert was still there giving out autographs, but he seems very tired, the poor guy. I was able to get one more thing. I added another sword to my collection, a medieval broadsword. Kind of like the Ordon sword from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. After that I left the convention. Overall this was one of the best moments that I have had on my summer vacation as of now. With the photos and things I bought, I highly doubt I will ever forget the time I had there.
Dublinthefox
Ok seriously, I gotta update this thing more often. Its been about 4 weeks since I started my sophomore year and to be honest......its not a very good start. Due to me being....well....kind of a slow learner, its kind of difficult trying to understand even the easiest programming languages like HTML, though that class I'm gradually understanding. The real problem is my other class, Introduction to Programming Logic with Language. In this course, I'm having to learn one of the complicated, tedious, and what my instructor calls "coolest" programming language, Java. Unlike my classmates who seem to know how it works and the logic behind it, I'm lost in most of what is going on. The one thing I may never seem to understand is the debugging. Not to mention that in order for a program to work properly, everything has to be perfectly. For example, if there is something missing like a comma or a decimal or whatever, the program will not function. This makes coding more complicated and more tedious. Luckily I have sent a request for a tutor for both classes. With a little help.....and a few all nighters, I'll be back on my feet.
Dublinthefox
I will never forget the 3rd of November. Ever since that day I haven't felt the same. November 3rd 2011 was the day that my dog, Samantha had to be put down because to her being in pain due to a serious kidney disease. Every day she kept on getting worse and worse. It started with her having short seizures. Nothing really happened after that. It wasn't until early in October when it started getting worse. She always had to go outside, she wouldn't eat which is soooooo not like her, and she wouldn't get out of bed. She then started to get really weak and.......well I don't want to go into it. Anyway she was suffering so much that my family thought it was best if she had her put to sleep. Truthfully I have never felt this depressed in a very long time. I mean this was a beagle that I have played with and have been loved for 10 years. THATS OVER HALF OF MY GOD-DAMN LIFE!..........I'm really gonna miss her. Dublinthefox
Okay I REALLY need to update this thing more! So as of recently I have been taking the spring semester off so that I can get ready to head outta town and head to the main campus of the college I attend (the one in my hometown sucks). I haven't been that busy on my artwork since I have been given more hours at work, but hey what should be bigger? My DA and FA galleries or my wallet? Other than that nothing big has been happening, but until then I will let everybody know.
Dublinthefox
Well today was a bit.........well.....both pretty good and a little annoying. Around the afternoon I decided to head to Gamestop that was closest to where I live and luck seemed to be on my side because I was able to find the only copy of Xenoblade Chronicles, a game that was so close to not getting a U.S. release. Plus I heard that its a really good way to kill time. The only thing I was disappointed about was that they didn't have any used copies of Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight. I know it sounds like a cheap title, but I've heard good things about it. I was also able to get a little bit more done on my artwork. Besides that, the rest of the day felt like it took forever. I had to work late which like I said felt like it took longer than expected. The worst part was the fact that during closing time we were far behind schedule so the rest of the employees and I had to stay a little bit longer. All in all, the day was good from the start, then it fell on its ass.
Dublinthefox
Its been a month of my summer classes and so far its going pretty good. Only one month left of this and I can finally start studying into what I been wanting to do since I started college. Just recently I have gotten back to using Steam since the last time I played any PC was back in 2010. Long Time I know.
Dublinthefox
So I'm gonna be starting fall classes tomorrow, but that doesn't mean that I'm not gonna be working on art projects. I'll be finally taking classes that go into what I'm majoring in and unlike my 2 previous fall semesters I might actually have fun with these classes. In other news I finally got my drivers license...........yeah.....um......Kind of sad considering I'm 20 years old and just got my license. But what can I say, I'm a shitty driver. <_<
