Sabre
Only certain games it works better on Xbox. That's because they were designed on the 360 and that's why they perform a bit better on it. But I have played the 360 version of Bayonetta, and I own the PS3 version, and I prefer the PS3 version. It may take half a second longer to load a level, if that. But if you play a high graphic MP game on 360, it tends to get bad framerate lag, but the PS3 handles em like nothing. You seem to be in the minority there. From a Boyonetta review.Unfortunately, most of the kind words I have for Bayonetta are reserved for the Xbox 360 version, as the PlayStation 3 version suffers from crippling performance issues. Load times are bad, even popping up when you're simply cycling through options on your inventory menus, but what really kills it is the way the game stutters and chops through the action, dropping frames and bogging down at an almost constant rate. In another, significantly less intense game, it's something I might be able to let slide. But Bayonetta's gameplay, and even its cinematics, put such a premium on speed and precision that the experience on the PlayStation 3 is thoroughly compromised. That's not to say all PS3 games are inferior. The PS3 version of Kane in Lynch 2 is apparently the best. Also, compairing the PS3 to the Xbox on multiplayer is like compairing 2 vans, but the PC is a rocket powered F1 car by comparison. I know this is a best console thread, but really, unless it's console exclusive like Halo or Monday Night Combat, I stick to PC for my multiplayer. I just wish they would standardise ports.I would also have to say the N64 is the best.It was the most graphically powerful console of it's generation, it introduced the Joystick and rumble feature to home consoles, and it's games were just flat out fun to play.Super Mario 64 set the standard for 3D games, Ocarina of Time is still considered by many to be the greatest game ever made, Star Fox 64 broke in the rumble feature for controllers, and GoldenEye proved that First Person Shooters could work on a console.I have to bring up an issue with the last part. Ocarina is considered the best game among nintendo and zelda fans, with most 'best' games coming from PC town. Again, kind of not relevent in a console thread, but with the likes of Half Life 2, Deus Ex, Starcraft, Doom, Oblivion/Morrowind, Elite/Freelancer, World of Warcraft, Diablo, ect. Even of those I don't like I hear many more people bring up those games as best game ever.As for Goldeneye, yes it revolutionised FPS games, but it was Halo that really made FPS on console a threat to PC. Again, I know this is a console thread, but that time you brought it up.
