Sarita
and no one cares, haha. Some info you can only find here (and will help you make sense of my rambling): INFO UPDATED Name: Sara Age: 19 Occupation: College Student/Unemployed Loungeabout Major: Studio Art Drives: A 2000 VW New Beetle, in Cobalt blue. Lives in: Alabama (Mobile County) Has a: Steve, and a cat. Volunteers at a home for abused women. Today, on my way to my volunteer work, I came across a pot hole. I went IN the pot hole. Long story short, my tire (exploded) was all flat 'n junk. A nice Alabama roadside assistance guy came and helped me. And a nice old man stopped to make sure I was okay, and kept me company until the roadside assistance guy decided he didn't need him anymore, then he left. As it turned out, there was a piece of metal in my spare tire. So roadside assistance man aired me up as far as I could go, and then my sister's boyfriend (who found me because my mom called him and told him to come help me xD) followed behind me with his hazard lights on, because I was leaking air out of my tire. I met my mom at her place of work, switched cars with her, and made my way to my chiropractor appointment (which is why I went across the bay in the first place...) and spent almost 30 extra minutes in there because my chiro was behind and so my dad fixed the hole in my tire while I was there. And all this without my phone, because I lost it after my 2-D design class yesterday. It's been a bad week.
Guest Julius Quasar
College? heh...in the words of Kent Paul: "It's a mug's game..." No offense to ya'. To each their own. I saw your kitty, I like that kitty. Those new VW Beetles are cute, but not my cup of tea, they look like a pregnant roller skate.Nice you do volunteer work. I've done that...damn that judge for sentencing me to it! Glad you got your tire fixed, that happened to me once. Sarita
I have some time before I head to work, so here I go a-bloggin'.I go paid my first paycheck today, I'm very pleased. I made $230 over 5 weeks doing pretty much nothing but sitting around for 8.5 hours a week. And I wasn't even working every day. Some days I just couldn't come in. It's nice.As soon as I get off work today, my Fall Break starts. Meaning, I don't have to go to class Monday and Tuesday. This also makes me happy. Today has just been a good day. Sarita
Ooookay, so, this weekend has been pretty uneventful. The best part of my weekend is happening right now. Steve is explaining the Metroid timeline to me, and he's being so cute. He's taking a lot of time on Other M. xDFriday, I found out I made an 12/20 on my Logic quiz I took that Monday. Ouch, that's my first official low grade. I'm on Fall Break now, so it's quite nice not having class tomorrow or Tuesday. My mom is off tomorrow because it's Columbus Day, so I dunno, we might go do something. Tuesday, I think I'm gunna go hang out with my former band-nerds at Band Jamboree, and maybe see the show from the stands this time, instead of from the field like at Homecoming. xD I secretly miss band. Sarita
My weekend/Fall Break was not as eventful as I had hoped. It's foggy and cold today. ): I have a logic quiz, and I couldn't sleep last night. If my room-mate's phone doesn't stop starting to vibrate at like, 5 AM, I'm going to text all her friends and tell her both she and her room-mate are trying to sleep and they need to wait until 8:30 to start texting her. Because once it starts, it doesn't stop. Maybe it's an alarm. Still annoying.

Sarita
No wonders why you have been having endless headaches >_> tell her to put her cellphone on silent mode then.I got the headaches while I was at home, though. x3 I think it has something to do with my back, and getting adjusted again. On a note about today... I think I sold my soul.I'm joking. Today I signed up to be a Mary Kay consultant. It was $100, and I get $330 worth of samples, four mirror things, and all the rest of the stuff I need to start selling. Best of all? A cute little bag to put it all in. I'll have to take a pic, for those who care, later. xD I'm excited, and my mom is excited, too. I get 50% of everything I sell, and it's awesome. That was the most exciting thing I did today, so much so that it blocked everything else out.
Sarita
So it's been a while since I last posted.I've been really getting in to this Mary Kay thing. Meeting all the people in my unit has been super fun, and I've really enjoyed working with these inspiring ladies. Today, I met my National Sales Director for the second time (the first time was the night I signed up, she was at the party), and she's just so cheery and fun, and she makes, get this, $500k a year. It's really awesome knowing that I could be there someday too. She started out as a Consultant like I am, and wow, just wow. There was also cake and ice cream. x3
Sarita
So after many moons of not updating my journal, here we go.I know I've told some people about the car accident I was in a year and a half ago. For those of you that weren't here when I joined, I was hit on my drivers side by someone who had run a red light, they totaled my car, and I had to go to a chiropractor for treatment. Their insurance company decided to settle with us so that they wouldn't incur any more medical fees, we agreed to the sum of $10,000, with the help of a lawyer. As it turns out, the insurance company had yet to pay my chiropractor (SUPER ANNOYING ), so part of that $10k had to go towards paying those bills, and after my lawyer got his agreed 1/3rd, we were left with about $3,500. I FINALLY received the money Tuesday, after a huge MORONIC mix up at the county court house where it went to the completely wrong lawyer (!), who kept it for half the month deciding what to do with it.So after paying my tuition for this and next semester, I'm finally going to put in my first big Mary Kay order, so that I can finally have some stock to sell. If they hadn't waited until they end of the month to get it to me, I would've gotten about $100 of bonus product, but because they waited too long, and I had to wait for it to clear in to my bank account, I couldn't until after the month had ended. Oh well, at least I can still get my order in before the 15th, which is the end of Mary Kay's 2nd Quarter. So yeah, lot's of fun there. Also, I'm sure everyone knows this by now, but next weekend I'm going on my first plane trip. To spend Christmas with Steve and his family. I've already started getting things ready that I need to take! I'm excited to meet his family, finally. I'm really nervous about making a bad impression, and I hope I'll do okay. ):

Sarita
Hello again, internet. Once again, it's been 6 months since I updated my journal. My life be boring. So, hooray! I'm back in college again for round 2, taking some really nice art classes (I actually wish I had saved my project that I'm working on as a jpg and sent it to my email, maybe I'll go back to the lab tonight and do that, hopefully I remember to do that before I go to work on my painting that's due tomorrow. I have a lot of stuff to do), and a creative writing class, and (finally) taking Spanish. There's also a Theology class in there some time, but it's my first class of the day, and I zone out half the time anyways. My car has been back in the shop recently, because while I was in Mexico it apparently decided it didn't love anyone and wanted to overheat before it even got out of the driveway. My reaction to this was "Huh? It worked just fine the day before I left." So I'm getting it back this afternoon, a finally and completely fixed car (after two years of going in and out of shops as I needed to use the car) Wanna know how they finally fixed it? They found a way to bypass my car's computer and kick it in the taco. So I'll be going to pick that up at 5, or having it brought to me, not sure yet. Speaking of Mexico, that trip went great. Of course you all know I had a bunch of free time, as I didn't really leave the forum! Steve took me to a really nice restaurant for my birthday, and it was really great ($30 per person though! That's really expensive!) I have no idea how to spell restaurant, I keep having to spellcheck it. I got to watch Steve play Metroid, it was fun. Back in the States, my sister is having a baby! I'm kinda excited, but really nervous for her, as she's unmarried, and I live in Alabama, as noted in the first post. My dad is very unhappy, and with the things my mom has told me he's said about her and this situation, I hope she never hears them. My heart is breaking for her. At least the dad hasn't left her, and he's a really sweet guy. The reason they haven't decided to marry (as would be expected around here) is because they want to make sure it's right for them, and that they're not just jumping in to it for the baby. We learned that lesson with my brother, who is getting a divorce next month. Sooo at the beginning of this post I said my life was boring, I guess not, huh? kkstarfox
Boring to some is exciting to others, and vice versa. But hey if you keep your self busy, you'll never be bored.

Asper Sarnoff
Start overheating right away? That's odd, no matter which way you put it. Most heating problems are usually associated with a stuck thermostat, or air in the cooling system, but none should cause it to immediatly start overheating.
