Just like the soda topic this is about your favourite energy drink brand(s).

My favorites from this list are Rock Star, Full Throttle, and NOS.  Red Bull is okay, but Monster tastes crappy and I could care less about Jolt.

Ehhh, not much of an energy drinker, but I will drink 5 Hour Energy on VERY RARE occasions.  Although it sounds like I should have voted for it, I don't drink it enough to consider it one of my energy drinks. :?

None.  I don't touch that stuff, not after what the one can of Red Bull did to me.  The cops had to taser me that day.  O_o

Don't drink energy drinks really, and stopped drinking soda long ago, but when I did, I would occasionally indulge in a Bawls energy drink, and was about addicted to Vault, because it tasted awesome. Unfortunately, my school had a Vault machine, and after drinking a few one day, I kind of ended up like

Could not stop fidgeting all day, which is odd as energy drinks don't really affect me normally.

I tend to use 5 hour more often, mostly because It is a Vitamin B supplement, which tends to give you natural energy rather then Guarana and crap-loads of caffeine ,etc.

Aside from that I am always hyper enough, its gets worse when i am sleep deprived fro some reason; but the last time I had a "sip" of monster. My eyes dilated, I was hyper for about 2 hours straight. Drove the teacher NUTS in class.

From then, I have strayed away from Energy Drinks, at least the other ones.

I haven't drank a energy drink in years, but I did like Jolt back then.

Well, judging from the posts here maybe there aren't as many energy drink users as I initially thought.  It also surprises me that so many people seem to have an adverse reaction to one.

Also, I like Vitamin Water.

While not energy drinks per se they are actually quite good for you in comparison.

There was a study done proving that Vitamin water is just as bad for you as pop....

First, I wasn't comparing it to pop, I was comparing it to energy drinks (And no they aren't the same thing)

Secondly, all this article is talking about is the "deceptive" advertising that the makers of this product might be involved it and on the contrary, it's implying (given the stats they listed) that it's better for you than soda.  Also, if you compare the nutritional information between most types of soda and VitaminWater soda is actually worse for you.

An example:

There are 39 grams of sugar in a 8 fl oz can of coke.

There are 32.5 grams of sugar present in each bottle of Vitamin Water (which is more than 8 fluid ounces)

Furthermore, per serving there are way more calories in a can of soda than there is in VitaminWater.
