Well, there's the blitzkrieg, sadly that was utilized by the Nazis, and the surprise attack on P.H. done by the Japanese.  Those are effective tactics, though I don't condone anything the Nazis or the Japanese did in that war.

Condone the men, not the tactics. Besides, it what AMerica did in the most recent Gulf war. A blitzkrieg.

There is the bottle neck tactic, Gurreilla warfare, Fear tactics

A battle i would have like to see was...i forgot what it was called, but it was in the Iraq war and the Allies were fighting Sudams troops out in the middle of the desert, doing a massive tank battle; the Allies had the Abrams and the Iraq's had the...Russian T-72 i believe? Anyway, the Abrams was few in number, but could fire and manuever; the T-72 had to be stationary inorder to fire, and their range was limited. (Allies won that battle) That would have been a cool battle to witness im sure!  :wink:

ANy tank that must remian stationary to fire is a tank noone would use. The Abrahms won because of their ammo. Depleated uranium rounds that could easily peirce the armor of the T-72
