Odd thing I noticed

Hi folks. When I am logged out of my account here on SF-online, I noticed lots of sections previously unseen, such as the character discussion forum, the personal journal area (something like that) and a few other places I had never seen before. Then when I log in, all that stuff goes away. Anyone know why?

Well I once couldn't find creative work because I somehow closed it, but I found out you can reopen it, that might be the problem.

I just tried logging in and out and seeing what boards I had access to while as a guest and as a member and with the exception of the mature area, the pub, and a couple of other boards that only staff have access to I had access to everything else in both states.

If there is a problem it's with board permissions, DZ or Steve can shed some light on this.

It could be this too.  There are + and - buttons on the right side of the blue bars on the forum index page.  Clicking those will hide or show some of the boards.

I'm moving this topic also.

Clear your cache. The character board was deleted from the database, so the fact that you're seeing it means it's your cache.

To be sure, I did check it in a logged-out IE session. Everything was as it should be.

No worries, I had just never noticed those little plus and minus signs.
