My friends, election day is coming up.  November 2nd, for those of you in California, and if you're reading this, you're obviously old enough to vote.  For you California voters out there, who have yet to fill out your ballots, but don't know what or who to vote for, I'll help eliminate the guesswork...

Governor: Meg Whitman (Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown sucked as Governor, he'll tax you out of your home, and if you're a renter, your rent will go up)

Prop 20-NO

Redistricting of Congressional Districts...establishing a panel of 14 goons to draw up congressional districts, something our LEGISLATORS are supposed to be doing, and these 14-goon panels wasted $3 million in 10 years, and Prop 20 adds another layer of red tape, waste, and bureaucracy. 

Prop 21-HELL NO!

$18 annual surcharge to vehicles "To fund our parks!"  Bullsh!t.  These leftists just wanna bring back the car tax.  The parks would never see a dime of that money.

Prop 22-NO!

Prohibits the state from borrowing or taking funds from the gas tax.  If we do that, the state will either have to lower taxes (which those greedy leftists would NEVER do) or raise taxes so they can raid the General Fund [more often].  Sales taxes and other California state taxes would be outrageously high.  Prop 22 is like jumping on a mound of trash you stuffed into a hole in the ground until it piled up over the top, and when you jumped on that trash pile, that same trash pile pops up out of the ground elsewhere nearby.

Prop 23- YES

Suspends AB32 until unemployment levels drop below 5.5%

Suspend that stupid Green Gestapo Law "AB 32" that has killed so many mainstream California jobs and forced MANY businesses out of our state.

Prop 24-NO

Prohibits businesses from writing off all/any business related financial losses on their taxes in CA.

Just the leftists trying to jack up taxes on business again, even more so now than ever.

Prop 25-NO

Expedites approval of all budgets and fees, eliminates the 2/3 votes required to approve budgets and fees.

We NEED the 2/3 vote in our state government, to stop the leftists from raising all our taxes.

Prop 26-YES

Requires 2/3 vote for approval on all "fees".

Protect the 2/3 vote! Close the taxation loopholes our legislators are using to rob us.

27-YES

Ends redistricting to congressional districts by private committees.

The antithesis to Prop 20, this bill will cap redistricting "expenses" to $2.5 million or less (currently, Redistricting "expenses have been $3 million or more, and Prop 20 will let this waste continue), and will force these lazy-ass legislators to do their damn job, and own up to their responsibilities and actions.

Those of you with elections in your state can either post question on who/what to vote for, or your opinion on who/what to vote for.

There is so much I could say about these mid-terms, whether it's the record high % of negative "Attack ads" as opposed to being positive about what the incumbents have managed to accomplish (which, as a whole, really isn't that much) to the vast majority of Americans being dissatisfied with both the GOP and Dems, to the blame game that both parties are giving each other.  That being said, most of my thoughts on the whole ordeal I've made in previous posts so I won't get into that again.

What I will mention is that, given the Democrats are slated to lose seats in both chambers and, in a worst case scenario, lose control of both chambers a certain level of compromise desperately needs to be reached here between both parties.  Many Americans of all political stripes are angry right now and the last thing that many would expect to be a good thing is a House and Senate with a near equal # of seats on both sides.  Bi-partition bullshit REALLY needs to be put aside or new procedure rules need to be implemented otherwise things are going to get a lot worse after November 2nd... 

Of course, I highly doubt this will happen.

As for me, I don't know much about NC's local stuff (mostly because nothing exciting happens here), but Mike McIntyre has to be stopped. He's a two faced asshole who always goes back on what he says, and plants to outsource the agriculture industry, which not a bad thing in some areas, would be AWFUL in North Carolina because WE PRETTY MUCH SURVIVE OFF OF LOCAL FARMING.

Agreed, but the crap that usually goes along with it isn't.

Canada has had a minority conservative government for some time now so all parties have to work together a heck of a lot more then they used to in order to see things through.  Wish the same thing would happen in U.S. politics more.

I agree with you, though, Bipartisanism is good.

"Bi-Partisian" is not necessarily good. While it is nice to see government officials agree from time to time, you have to take it on an issue-by-issue basis.

Look at the DMCA. It was passed unanimously in the senate. Bi-partisian? Yes. Good for the county? No.

Bi-partisian is a buzz-word that politicians like to throw around when they are in the minority.

As far as the ballot measures mentioned, I am not in California, so I am not educated on them. But, I can recognize right-wing slant when I read it. Don't take his word for it, read the legislation carefully and make up your own mind.

Carly Fiorina - HELL THE FUCK NO! She's a damn corporate lap-dog. Also, she was one of the leaders of the charge to outsource HP's manufacturing to china. She wasn't even particularly good at HP. I can't vouch for the validity of the story, but I heard that HP workers held a party when she was fired.

Fiorina's the lesser of 2 evils.  Barbara Boxer is an embarrassing relic left over from the late '70's/early'80's bullshit that California (and America) was suffering through.  Boxer has chased away businesses from our state, violated many constitutional rights of Californians, and she doesn't do any helpful stuff for our state at all.  She takes kickbacks from corporations, letting them outsource jobs, pollute our state, and cram non-outsource-able jobs with illegal aliens, who are exploited the hell out of by these companies, who get golden parachutes when the companies fire them fail.  Boxer and Feinnstein are always there to accept bribes from those same companies and people they denounce, which makes Boxer and Feinnstein hypocrites.  The people in our state are stupid to keep re-electing those losers for almost 30 years, but then again, we got a lot of morons in our state, many of them are welfare recipients, being fed by those 2 idiots to gain the votes.

3. That's just not true about the HP workers and that "party".  How do I know?  I know a few [former] HP workers who told me that the stuff you hear about Fiorina and her time at HP is not true, or horrible exaggerated by the leftist media.  They spoke well of Fiorina.
