Easy to make "H2"?

For those who have been on the forum for a long time will know that I occationally jump in with programing questions, but this one is more about TV in general.

How simple is Hollywood Squares? In Britian it was known as Celebrity Squares, but was before my time.

See, I don't have the skill/confidence to make a multi screen scrolling game or a 3D shooter game, but I'm sick of half arsed Space invaders and breakout clones.

Anyway, I recently saw a video of the bad game "H2" aka. Hollywood Squares which seemed to be a single screen game of naughts and crosses where players are asked true or false questions and if they get them wrong a O is placed instead of an X, or vise versa. Seemed simple enough, but then it went into the bonus round and all hell broke loose with the guy doing 9 questions against the clock to try and eliminate keys from a box. Point is, I'm not well versed in the rules and wondered does it ever get more complex then that?

Second, would you play a free game like that where it was game characters instead of Z list celebrities, and instead of money you got, I dunno, increasingly naked pictures of Krystal/Falco or a toblerone or something? Not an increasingly naked toblerone though, that would be weird.

Finally, for the more tech savvy, would it be a way to improve my practical skills as a games programmer or should I just make another crappy clone of an atari/nes game?

To my untrained mind, I'd say give it a shot. I'd play it. I too am fed up with so many arcade clones.

You have to think up some better prizes though, man.  O_o

Yes, I know. Those prizes were a joke. It will probley just be a screen with "You win!" or something written on it. Maybe a joke or something. I dunno. I think that will be a bridge I cross when I come to it.
