Sabre
I'm doing a let's play of a zombie horror game and during it I make a joke about the resident evil 5 racism claims. The joke was instead of saying "Oh no! A zombie!" It's "Oh no! A black guy!". After which I apolagise and this also sets up a rant I go into for filler about the people making that argument tried to backlpeddle.Unfortunatly I got differing opinions. A logicly minded and also insensitive guy (like me) didn't see the problem because the joke is about racists rather then race, whereas someone else claimed that the opposate is true, that the joke is still racist. So, SFO, you are the decider. Milkyway64
I don't think so at all. If it's not done in prejudice or hate for other races, it's not racist. You're calling out those that ARE, so nope.
Xortberg
I'm about as tolerant as they come when it comes to ethnicity, but most of my favorite jokes are still black person/Arab/Holocaust jokes. And this doesn't just apply to racism, in my opinion - most of what I find humorous is taboo in some sense, and so people think I'm wrong in the head or something. Funny, considering half the people who think that are also the people at my school who were saying Obama shouldn't be elected because he's black.
