"User"
Kursed has completely the opposite personality that I do. Sadly, I think this is the only reason I would dislike her. I know many people who would hit on Kursed in a heartbeat.
Milkyway64
I know you where referring to it I just wasn't drawing attention to it. I don't see Panther as a badass I see him as a cliched romance icon that exists only to fill in a empty position in star wolf.Panther is a wannabe badass which equals to just freaking annoying. Panther is a ladysman. As a matter of fact, not even. He's a pathetic pussy (lol) who talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. You know the saying easier said than done? This is a primary example. Plus he treats any lady like a token chick which just pisses me off. Fanboy moar. Panther is only annoying with his 3rd person shit in Command, but none of you even acknowledge that game anyways so let's just go with assualt. He fits in Star Wolf very well as he's cheesy and over the top (like EVERY OTHER CHARACTER IN THE SERIES, -especially- villains) while still being as "cool" as the series will allow. He's an assassin, he has a calling card of sorts, and he has a code surrounding women, you know, the same sort of thing Zorro was so popular for. How does he not "walk the walk?" He survived two galactic alien invasions being in the very heart of at least one, and outside of that weeeee never really see him. This is like saying that James McCloud never did anything noteworthy since in the games his ghost just sorta derps around and occasionally plays tour guide. You guys just mad because he shakes your guy's non existant Fox/Krystal shipping. Robert Monroe
Hey guys, I thought this was the "why do you hate Kursed" thread Seriously, you all are being whiny babies. Milky hits it all on the head: Panther is no more or less cheesy than any other Starfox character and the only reason you dislike him is he flirts with Krystal. Boo-hoo, God forbid dynamic character relationships.

Is that what irks everyone about Panther so much? And if these same people like Pepe LePew, they're hypocrites. :P
SlyJedi
I nearly lost it when you said this. Worst video game pairing ever.I agree with you wholeheartedly, good sir. PxK is an absolute abomination in my eyes, and so is Kursed. I was just comparing the levels of crappyness of the two concepts in my post. In terms of them being an abomination of character as I had said in my previous post, they are about equal.Once again this is just my view. In terms of them being an abomination of character as I had said in my previous post, they are about equal.Once again this is just my view. Here's an idea: mind sharing with us why it is such an abomination? Objectively speaking, of course. Panther has most every right Fox has to Krystal's affections (the pairing you "prefer" is irrelevant), and the word "abomination" denotes a feeling of unnatural being. While Kursed is arguably an abomination of character derailment (arguably because Krystal had little character to derail in the first place), the same can not really be said about pairing her with Panther, considering there is objective, legitimate connections between the two characters. Again, this isn't so much about what pairng you prefer, its about what would objectively work.

Shure hes just a cheesy as all the other characters, but his catch phrases get anoyying! Almost ( if possible) as inyoing as Slippy.
Robert Monroe
Once again: the notion that Panther is a cheap floozy hunter is wrong. Its been confirmed before that he's a man in love with love itself: he falls for many women, but each one faithfully. And everyone has catchphrases. Have any of you ever actually played Starfox 64? sorry to JET but I'm in a hurry

You could put those lines in anyone else's mouth from another franchise or movie or something and you would think, "Typical hero type. If it does, you have a boring main character.

Not realy...You want the perfect example of words needing context to mean anything? Read the back of any one of the books in A Series of Unfortunate Events. Unless you already know Lemony Snicket's particular style, it'll be utter nonsense. The Declaration of Independence is unique in that it clearly states the context for whatever it says. And yeah, really. You know what she meant, as indicated by the trollface, so you were just trying to divert attention from the fact that you had no counterpoint. He tells you not to read and then mentions several unrelated things that appear in the story. Without being familiar with his style, you'll have no idea what he's on about.Eragon does get mad. It's why he chased the Ra'zac in the first place. Nice try, though.

Thirdly: Fox has the MOST inconsistant personality out of an entire CAST of inconsitant personalities. so don't EVEN go there. I -HAVE- played the goddamn games, I have played ALL the goddamn games, and I wasted entirely too much of my youth doing so. Fox. Has. No. Personality. Vulvokunvrii
welll i dont exactly "hate" her...but hse is a little...extrodinary (as in wierd). She was probably created in response to one of the endings in SFC; in one ending she drifted from StarFox to StarWolf and then wasnt loved by anyone, so she decided to head off on her own, and mabye she got alittle...wrong or evil some how...?
