fox1235
So for alls though who went to the Rally to Restore Santiy and/or Fear(which unfortunely I couldn't come to) go?
Sabre
I still dont get (or really care) about the whole thing. A celebrity themed picnic for people who don't care about polatics? I'm sure someone will rant about left v right or extremism or something, but it still doesn't make sence to me. I read it was a success but as far as I can tell nothing was achieved so what happened? Pretty much the media says to fear things that are very unlikely to happen to but the media makes seem like it will happen every day.
FoxMcCloud
It was fun and enjoyable, but phenom64, fox is not the only news organixation that does so, all of the mainstream media does it. It just so happens that fox news has more opininated sections on their show, amd they broadcast 24/7. Other then that, fun time exciting, and it was a beautiful day. Ill post pics later today

fox1235
And have they stopped? No that wasn't the point its pretty much us, America that we shouldn't listen to the media. The media will never stop making everything a threat, all we have to do is stop listening to them.
Sarita
And have they stopped? The Rally was satirical in nature. It was a rally meant to be a funny parody of Glenn Beck's rally waay back in September (?). I'm sure if you google it, you can come up with the original thread on Digg (Again, I'm not a million percent sure that's where it was)

My point is, if it was a success, but never achieved anything, then it was a very large picnic, not a rally. If it was a rally, and it didn't raise awareness for a serious cause, and it didn't have tangable results, then it was a failure. Which is it?
