As for being a mod, I know people have life. I was accussed of not reviewing games fast enough on another site. Here's the relevent section.

and I've never seen anything go beyond that. Admins are much more techy, but provided you are present and the rules are fair there isn't an issue.

That said, this forum does have alot of strange rules and sticks more close to american values then most.

He isn't the problem. We all are. We're all to blame for what's happened here, (here as in SF-O and the topic) even me, even though I haven't been here hardly for any of it. And the way to solve it is to STFU, as User has pointed out.

Sure, it may seem...healthy to come out and say what we all know we've always wanted to say, but really, it won't help anything, so what's the point?

These debates/arguments do nothing to fix the problems..They just create more.

As Mr. Ike would say, "I fight for my friends," even though I am just a guy on the sidelines.

I honestly think we should stop being at each others' throats. I myself am thinking about leaving because of the way my friends are being treated. I won't say who, but I am starting to get a little angry with the way they are treated.

I believe this site is a sinking ship. New users who would be starting the next generations with fresh ideas and whatnot will most likely be turned away by all the gunfire flying around on the boards. What happens when new users are turned away, the word gets out that "SF-O is a place to avoid" and everyone who gets fed up leaves, what next? It will end up being a lifeless husk, the remaining users will get bored and eventually part ways, leaving the site a barren wasteland with a dirty past.

I don't want to see SF-O head down that path. I think we should just drop the gunfire and get on with our lives. People get on the internet to relieve stress, talk with friends, and to get a way from their normal life temporarily. If that is deprived of them... I shudder to think what would happen.

I'm not criticizing your ability, I'm criticizing the amount of time you put in. You have a full time job that pulls you away. Let somebody else do it after apprenticing them I guess.

Current mods seem to have developed lives that they must attend to and cannot put more time toward this. Why not let them pick apprentices and teach them how to mod? Once they feel the apprentices are up to it, the apprentices are full mods.

Oh I'm not angry, just a bit annoyed. Since the conversation seems to have calmed down a bit, I'm going to go ahead and lock this down. I just really felt the need to defend myself on that, finally.

Well, really, next time I get to go offline for a few days, I'm just going to stfu, because apparently, each time an admin says "I'ma going to take a break" hell breaks here.

As for now, I will deal with some of the matters you have all been going nutsy nuts.

First of all, Kursed, I didn't make Sissi a mod, I didn't vote, I didn't cast a staff vote, I said 1000000000 times "I will not give a vote for sissi because it's going to be biased". We needed people to mod this place, and since I know sissi has experience, I SUGGESTED her. The staff made the call to put her on trial and the WHOLE forum voted for her.

Second, Tiberius, dude, there's something called "talk with the admins", seriously, thanks to you, this hell began, I'm not happy about it, and for causing this much drama, I should temp ban you.Also, emperoroflylat, watch out, your attitude was really troll like, next time, you WILL get an answer in the form of a warning/tempban. Milky was going to be temp banned one way or another (if he had cooled down, we could have reconsidered it). Did you ever bother talking with me or DZ about this?, if the mods are not answering your pms, go to the admins before doing stuff like this.

Third, I'm going to go ahead and call this BS, specially because many of you have been on the thin rope many times and we have done the best to avoid bans. Same happened with milky, he's a nice guy, tho he did go offroad a couple of times, and since the staff voted, he's been temp banned for one week.

Next, I'm surprised, the people that I expected to be HELPFUL here were the ones being HARMFUL and viceversa. I'm going to go ahead and say "use the staff improvements topic or pm the staff" we are not going to bite you. Also, shame on you all  , and shame on me for not being here.

Finally, you guys wanted a hard answer from the staff, there we go, we banned Milky. However, he's coming back so I would expect you all to be fair and square with him, give the lil man a second chance, like some of you have had.
