Zzz
Why don't we post some non-Starfox music, which reminds us of Starfox? The lyrics should reflect your interpretation of the characters, situations etcAlso please try to post why exactly you associate Starfox with your songI'll go first…. Obviously, if you know my sig you know why I chose this. It depicts what it’s like on the frontline so it can represent anything Starfox-related….Also:Eminem’s “Like Toy Soldiers” (Sorry, I couldn’t find an acceptable YouTube version that wasn’t speed up)This particular segment reminds me of how Fox sees himself as the leader (particularly in Assault where he relentlessly tries to act more mature than ever)I'm supposed to be the soldier who never blows his composureEven though I hold the weight of the whole world on my shouldersI am never supposed to show it, my crew ain't supposed to know it[...]I'd never drag them in battles that I can't handle unlessI absolutely have toI'm supposed to set an exampleI need to be the leader, my crew looks for me to guide 'emIf some shit ever just pop off, I'm supposed to be beside 'emYour turn! Samantha Weltzin
Also please try to post why exactly you associate Starfox with your song And this is exactly why this topic might not turn into just a "Post songs you like" thread. Nice job on the caveat there. This reminds me of StarFox when I think of what Nintendo's done (or -hasn't- done) with the series.
Guest Mr. Mario
For some reasons, I think this song reminds of Starfox quite alotIn this world, you've got to be strong. This segment reminds me of Peppy's sacrifice in Assault and how everyone didn't want him to die. Also reflects James McCloud, Fox can't seem to stop thinking about his father which could explain the reasons of seeing his father's ghost in many of the SF games. Also reflects Krystal and her homeworld that was destroyed by Andross, Cerinia (though it only got mentioned once...in a manuel! )You've got to fight to keep your spirit alive.Reminds me a bit of Adventures, the Krazoa Spirits that Fox/Krystal must release at Krazoa Palace, plus fighting with the Sharpclaws and other enemies in the game. But it's a fight that keeps us ready and on guard, given, I can feel the power.Sounds a lot like General Pepper a bit, he's given some power like a dictator (He banished Andross to Venom...didn't he?) and the fighting that Starfox does seems to somehow keep the CDF ready for a attack. I don't know, it's just me.When I think of you I see no fear, fear out there!Up until Command was released, I'm sure Fox had no fear to think of Krystal when he saved her with the exception of talking like a nervous person that doesn't have enough experience for love. Whenever Krystal was in danger, Fox would always save her, plus his other teammates too.Forever he will be my hero (That is if he knows the way.)It's pretty easy to say, Fox defeated Andross and the Aparoids (I'm not even going there with the Anglars...) and saved Lylat countless times. Everyone trusts Fox so much as long as he knows what he is doing.
Dublinthefox
When I play these songs, Star fox for some reason comes to mind. Mostly this one. I think of this as a theme for Falco.
Guest DRL
Specially the chorus (you will notice it when it comes, and if not,it starts at 1:02).It reminds me about barrel rolling, for some reason, and fighting off alien spaceship orders.(And not, it is not because it has a spaceship image, lol.) Zzz
This reminds me of StarFox when I think of what Nintendo's done (or -hasn't- done) with the series. That caught me completely off-guard...Also, you got some pretty detailed insight there, Mr Nintendo! Very good!
eman96
For some reason, the part at 1:54 reminds me of the Krazoa Palace in Adventures.

Vy'drach
The lyrics being:I like the way it's hard, I love the way it's loud,No one understands what the fuck I am about.Just step into the place, and hear what I say,I spit with the lyric, no time for delay.Slam rock with the jungle man to man, with the jam,You know who I am.When me come me coming rough, you know I'm above,Be there.I drop it medium rare, yeah!J'adore Hardcore...Doin' it together!C'mon!Sing it!Yahhh! For sure I got my plan, don't really give a damn!On my own mission, I fight like a man.Doin' it for myself, not for the industry!Check 'pon the rhythm, and to the M.I.C.Slam rock with the jungle hand to hand, hummin' a bum,'Cause I got the jam. When me come me coming rough, I got the stuff,Be there.Let's shuffle in the air, yeah!J'adore Hardcore...Right! ?Yeah!Raise your hands up to the roof...Raise your hands up in the air...And again!Yeah!Posse! Respect to ya! Goodnight! It goes with Star Fox Adventures especially. What mainly did it is I'd hear, "Raise your hands up to the roof.... Raise your hands up in the air..." and think of the Zelda style item acquisition pose, hearing "Slam the rock in the jungle man to man," which reminded me of lifting the rocks with Krystal's staff on Dinosaur planet, which is mostly jungle, and the line man to man being about Fox being on foot as opposed to in a vehicle. Also there's, "When me come me coming rough, you know I'm above," which reminds me of the tossed together Arwing missions, where you blow up everything. And, "On my own mission, I fight like a man. Doin it for myself, not the industry!" Which could be Fox working as a mercenary as opposed to being in the Cornerian Army. And, "Let's shuffle in the air," would be either dog fighting, or the fight with Andross. And I just see things when I hear certain parts of the song, such as the raise your arms up part, Fox or Krystal holding the items up, when it does the, "Doo do do do doo" part, I can't help but picture some of the characters talking animation to that song, such as Tricky or your teammates coming in through the comm. "You know who I am" would be Fox, and when it says J'adore Hardcore, could be shots of Krystal talking. And, "Posse! Respect to ya! Goodnight!" would be a final shot of the Star Fox team. All in all I thought it reminded me of Adventures, and I figured it could make a damned good music video if someone had the know how. I would of done it, but I don't know how to do stuff like that well.
Asper Sarnoff
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMfeKHH_YHsReminds me of Starwolf every time I hear it. The AC/DC style of metal in itself is something which I find is most fitting for the characters. Here, also the lyrics works for it.
Zzz
[...] What mainly did it is I'd hear, "Raise your hands up to the roof.... Raise your hands up in the air..." and think of the Zelda style item acquisition pose[...] that's creative. Awesome! @Asper:Heh. I thought of the Hot Rodders while listening to that song.
