Well, the 500 error is a generic error. It is basically the error page you get when another error code doesn't fit the bill.

I'll need some info:

New Install?

What theme are you using? (I.E. SubSilver)

List any and all mods.

What version of phpbb? (I.E. SFO runs 2.0.20 )

Linux or Windows server? (I.E. SFO is on a Linux server)

Does the server support PHP? (kind of important :banghead: )

What version of PHP?

What Database software? (I.E. SFO uses MySQL [most common])

What Version Database software?

A word of the wise about themes: NEVER set a theme to default until you verify that the theme works.

Something had to trigger this. It doesn't just quit working. Either you did something or your host did something.

What was the most recent thing you did to the server (even if it isn't related to the forum)? Are you running other php scripts?

You said this is phpbbFM. The fact the folder is phpbb2 tells me you upgraded from phpbb to phpbbFM. When did you do this?

Not having your version is a problem for me because I don't know if this is a known issue. Also, the phpbbFM guys are very anal about keeping phpbbFM up to date and they will not offer support otherwise. And, since phpbbFM is a port, the phpbb guys won't support it. For these reasons I am not a big fan of it.

Get your version please. It should be on the front page of your admin CP.

You also may want to search around phpbbFM's forum (you need to register to see it) and see. I am not as familiar with FM as I am with "vanilla" phpbb.
