RP section far too strict.

Well worded Sissi. Lately, this has been the model we've been following. And it does seem to me like it's the one we should stick to.

Alright then ,if the only issue is the amount of RPs, then we will give a try to 6 RPs. With the rules and agreements already established

I am not sure. In my recent experiences as a Role-Player,

most of the 'policing' was rather done by one or two active moderators.

This system has worked well because, while people have complained,

often solutions and responses came quickly.

Note that by active, I mean "every day". Not "every hour".

And also, I have been playing RPs which are kinda different from the

ones you are used to play...

The way it is now, GMs are supposed to mod their own RPs, and call on the RP mods when they need help. Of course, the RP mods still need to keep an eye on the place, but giving GMs the authority to control their own RPs was intended to lessen their workload.

The RP limit was established so that the staff doesn't get overwhelmed. I understand some of you are frustrated with that, but please keep in mind that SFO is not primarily an RP community. We offer RP as a perk of membership, but it is not the focus of SFO or the staff. If it becomes too big of a problem, I will get rid of it.

Maybe someday RPSystem will be finished. I am toying with the idea of building it on the Symfony framework. Being a purpose-built application, it will solve some of the logistical issues with RP. There is also the problem that we are bumping into the max resource barrier with all of the programs on our server, so it would have to be after a move to a VPS. But if/until that happens, we have to live with what we have.

I'm sorry if I'm missing something here, but I think the RP section is cool and I don't see any problems? :?
