Ever get the feeling higher powers are mocking you? (Not about religeon)

Have you ever felt like someone high in the sky is watching you, pointing their finger and laughing at your mortal impotence?

There was this one time, I was eating chocolate, a piece broke off and fell on the floor, when I tried picking it up there was a dent in the floor that looked like chocolate in the low light so I couldn't because the chocolate had turned into a dent in the floor.

Another time, every time I put down my pen, it wasn't their when I went to pick it up again. I went through several pens that day.

Just now, as I tried to type in the subject title, the box kept on erasing the contents.

For about two consecutive weeks now, there has been something or other going on in the gym during 4th period, which just so happens to be my PE class. We haven't done anything at all in this time.

I do wonder how this isn't religion, as that feeling is something only the religious get.

How can it not be discussed? If you do not believe in god/higher power/fate/the universe/whatever weasel word you use, then this doesn't happen. When you swap the words it becomes. "Ever feel god is mocking you?" or "Ever feel fate is mocking you?", you get the idea. A belief in god is implied. I don't believe in god despite my best efforts, so no.

The name of the topic is a metaphor. It's a somewhat cleverer than normal way of saying "Have you ever had any inexplicably bad days?" Some things just aren't meant to be taken literally, bro.

I love Risk. I have never won a game of it in my life, but I always decide who wins. Amassing an absolutely huge army in the impenetrable fortress that is Austrailia to go all kamikaze with feels good man

Law of big numbers. 6000 people have a one in a million experience every day. To put it another way, the chance of YOU winning the lottery are millions to 1, the chance SOMEONE will win the lottery is almost 1. There is alot of people doing alot of things for alot of time. Eventually weird combinations turn up. That's the nature of randomness.

A week or two ago, I was playing No More Heroes 2. I was on the 2nd ranked battle level; an area I can best describe as a bunch of apartment buildings; the level was quite long. So after being inside one of the apartments and ending up back outside again, the game froze on me when I was slicing an enemy in half.

I felt disappointed since I was getting in the assassin/Kill Bill mood. Hopefully, I'll be able to make it through the level without any disturbances.

This has happened too me more times than I can count. It usually happens when I fall in love, gain a certain level of popularity, or take part in a wedding (out of the three I had a role in, all three ended up with a divorce).

That last one scares me the most though. Who knows what will happen if I ever get married.
