Hello SF-O, It seems to be that time of year again, With the gifts, and the giving and the families, OH you know what I'm Talking about CHRISTMAS.

Yes its every child's favorite holiday where they run down the stairs, and jump on their parents beds. Excited to see what old Santa brought them.

Keep in mind posters, This is where you can post whatcha might be doing for Christmas, a possible wish list, or just to discuss the holiday itself. NO NEGATIVE, or JUST STUPID REMARKS.....You know who you all are :P, Keep it positive :D

To Start:

For Christmas I'll be going home for 2 weeks, and I dont want anything special for Christmas, just to be able to spend it with my family

I take it by negative you mean me? 1 thread, and get that reputation forever. Now I'm torn between participation in spite, genuine interest, and my usual cynical realistic outlook.

Christmas is going to be weird this year. All I will say is that the destructive element that normally ruins Christmas is gone. A good thing. I will still be doing my best to hide from everybody though as Christmas is the time for mandatory family meetup despite hating each other. Stupid traditions. However, there maybe, just maybe be a slim chance of board games. My brother and his woman normally break out the monopoly, but this year I have Battle Star Galactica. Hopefully this can work out family steam by brigging the people who annoied them the most.

Also, Christmas = massive Steam sale. So I'm keeping some money back for that. If there is anything at all you want off steam, it would be a good idea to do the same.

On a related note. Anyone in the UK want an anti social fat man over for christmas, let me know. I will try to make it happen. Also I have BSG for those who are sick of monopoly.

No Sabre, it was a general comment, there are some who like to be negative, and that was just to cover a broad spectrum of people :P

I know about the Steam Sale, and I am sooooo looking forward to it  :D

I try my best to avoid my father's side of my family at this time of year. They're Christians and you know how they can act, they're not bad people but when it comes to Christians, Christmas and Easter are the full-moon. My mother's Therion side of the family is far more laid back about it so I usually celebrate Christmas (and Easter) with them. Come to think of it I try to avoid my Father's side quite a lot, maybe I'm ashamed of them, I don't know.

For me, Christmas will be spent on the other side of the Atlantic, with my girlfriend and her family. Very, very, very much looking foreward to it.VeryHappy-2.gif

Christmas is almost universally my favorite time of the year.  Just the newly-acquired atmosphere of the world once the holiday draws nearer is enough to make me smile.  The Christmas music begins to start up again on the local radio stations, lights are put out, and usually more people are in a happier mood.  The themed Christmas specials on TV are a great bonus too, they're a joy to watch :D.

Not sure what I'm gonna do outside of my obligatory viewing of Jingle All the Way (Yes that JAtW, I happen to enjoy it). There's also my 22nd birthday and the Christmas party coming up, rumor has it they fall on the same day so I at least get some kind of cake this year.

My birthday is on the 13th, and X-mas is 12 days away from that. The twelve days of christmas will be blasting out of my ipod until the 25th

Probably just going to stay home this year. Doubt I'll be doing much with my family we don't click as well as most, though they still care enough to be me something.

As for gifts I'm likely going to be buying some new hardware for my computer Since Steam really doesn't work well with my current AMD Sempron Processor. But fortunetly it will cost alot less unlike last year since My Networking class will be giving me a hand with the installation.

I made a deal with my parents (IE my mom) to opt out of getting anything from em for Christmas in exchange for a Nintendo 3DS and a few games when it comes out. Also highly likely to save my money for Christmas for even more games for it.

You're lucky to have your B-day before Christmas, mainly because you don't have to wait long to get more presents! :D
